Lower-frequency vibrations aren’t bad in a moral sense, but in the sense that they simply don’t feel good. Nick Betts, co-host of the Liberty Risk podcast, said an unnamed member of the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) disclosed the details during a night of drinking while the group was involved in a documentary project about the war in Ukraine.
The account, which Betts shared on a December 2025 podcast episode, describes soldiers being deployed from Fort Bragg in North Carolina after an underground facility a few miles from the Nevada base stopped transmitting routine radio checks and a quick-reaction force failed to return. The team was briefed at Area 51 itself, issued directed-energy weapons, and flown by Black Hawk helicopter to a tunnel entrance leading into the complex.
Once inside, a group of roughly six operators began clearing the tunnels and encountered the first of three invaders. “They said that they f****** shot this creature that was bipedal, mildly reptilian-looking but had fingers and was using this weapon system,” Betts said.
