Just For Fun - Name The Song - Solution
Vertigo – U2
“A light is so much stronger, than a thought,
It can’t be bought.”
Medicine Man – Whitesnake
That just can’t be denied,
When there’s a feeling deep inside
Delirious – ZZ Top
I overloaded and saw the light,
Decadence was on my mind,
“A light is so much stronger, than a thought,
It can’t be bought.”

Just For Fun - 'Name That Song' - #4
Another ‘Name That Song’ … what three songs do these lyrics come from?
And, is there a ‘connection’ between the songs … ???

A New "Music Connection"
Something from the vaults ... Music Connections have pretty much been neglected over the last few months (along with many other things too).
So, as I write, I'm speculating with regard to a choice of three songs which will have a cryptic/hidden connection between them. Three videos of these songs will be published with the question (in the vein of Radio One's legendary Friday Night Connection by the late and great Tommy Vance - pictured left) ... 'what is the connection between the three songs?'.

'what is the connection between the three songs?'. It might be in the song titles; or the albums they were released in; or the year they were released; or the theme of the song; or even the record producer .... but there will be a connection. Plus there will be a prize for the person who correctly e-mails the connection first!
So watch this space over the coming weeks (Light's Down Under is still under construction, so its release into cyberspace is still delayed - soz about that) ....

Life is too Short
An evocative ballad by The Scorpions ....
IMO this is an incredible song ... the words, the melody, the classic Scorpions balladic style ....
