A Word On '"Calcination"

 Calcination brings us to new awareness of the influence of the ego within us, and the process deflates the ego so we can discover more of our true reality, previously hidden by the ego's protections and defenses. In this stage we face a crisis of identity as our ego-based beliefs and false sense of self are transformed as if burned in an alchemist's fiery furnace.

Suffice it to say, most people avoid this process. Calcination incinerates the ego's defenses against the unknown. As our cherished beliefs and habits turn to ash and smoke, we may feel as if we're dying. And though this is not a physical death, it feels just as ominous and frightening. As we die to patterns we have outgrown, space is created for us to begin to realize more of our true reality.

We can't consciously make Calcination happen. It is merely what we go through at those times in which we feel powerless, confused, disheartened, and afraid. Every individual's reaction to a Calcination event differs—one person may sink into a depression and want to be left alone, while another may reject what's happening and fight fiercely to prevent change. What can the Rock-Water Circuit Theory tell us about life on Earth?

Dr. Pierre Kory and Matt Bakos are writing a book called ‘The Blueprint of Life: The Hidden Architecture that Powers Life and Health‘, which introduces the Rock-Water Circuit Theory.

The Rock–Water Circuit Theory draws on geology, hydrology, origin-of-life research, biochemistry and atmospheric science. A hypothesis which Bakos and Dr. Kory believe is a new understanding of the origins and continuance of life on Earth.

In this cycle, an energy-supporting mineral chemistry forms in rock. It is then opened by weathering, mobilised by water, carried into living systems and eventually returned to Earth. Over geologic time, it is reformed into rock, weathered again and returned into circulation, Dr. Kory explained.

It is the last cycle – from life back to rock and from rock back into water – that the authors believe gives a new understanding of the origins and continuance of life on Earth – the Rock-Water Circuit Theory.

The Celestial Sphere

 The celestial spheres, or celestial orbs, were the fundamental celestial entities of the cosmological celestial mechanics first invented by Eudoxus, adopted by Aristotle and developed by Ptolemy, Copernicus and others. In this celestial model the stars and planets are carried around by being embedded in rotating spheres made of an aetherial transparent fifth element (quintessence), like jewels set in orbs.

Self-Inflicted Alchemy

[Waking Times]: Alchemy is the art of transformation. Self-inflicted alchemy is the art of transforming self-preservation (lead) into self-overcoming (gold). It’s “inflicted” because the process is uncomfortable at first. One must leave one’s comfort zone to grow. One must take an independent leap of courage out of a codependent state in order to understand that one’s true essence is an interdependent state in interconnectedness with all things.

In order to become comfortable with self-improvement one must first be uncomfortable with the initial growth. Eventually, the next-level technique of existential masochism can be used, and the discomfort will be instantly reconciled into comfort. But first, self-inflicted alchemy is necessary.

You can call it shock value, a wake-up call, ruthless initiation, or vigilant vicissitude, either way it is self-inflicted when used as a tool toward leveraging a leap of courage. Emerald Tablet: The Translation of the Ultimate Source of Alchemy

[Humans Are Free]: Considered the original Source of Hermetic Philosophy and Alchemy, The Emerald Tablets is regarded as one of the most mysterious ancient texts on Earth.

Believed to have been originally carved by Hermes on tablets of Emerald and placed inside the Great Pyramid’s Kings Chamber, the true author of this mysterious text remains a mystery, and scholars believe that the legend of the Tablet and Hermes are probably apocryphal in nature.

This ancient text is well-known among researchers of the occult, philosophers and so-called alchemists since at least the eighth century.

Depending on what source we look at, the Emerald Tablets is said to have been composed by either Hermes Trismegistus or an ancient author from Arabia, who is believed to have ‘penned down’ the enigmatic text between the sixth and eighth centuries.

The seems to be alchemy symbolism and undertones with this particular crop circle. A clear message from the creator of the circle to someone, but to who? A central filled circle surrounded by zones. Two symbols on the outside of the zoning. Two others on the intersection of the final zone line. The sun in the centre with indications of some kind of solar activity in the sequence??

 Another interesting crop circle. It looks very much like a symbol for an element in Alchemy. There is a vessel with a stick or rod descending from a stopper at the top of the vessel. Or so it would seem. But, then you notice the small orb like circle to the far right of the main circle. And you also notice the serpent like circle pattern of the very top small circle in the pattern. 

Perhaps, this circle represents the symbology of some kind of clock or timing mechanism for whatever the small orb is representative of. Maybe the two circles to the left and to the right are markers of some type? One set positive and one set negative?

We are never going to know for sure.

The Body of Light in the Western Esoteric Tradition

The origin of the “body of light” is seen in gnostic literature as early as first century. However, extensive documentation and theory exist in Chinese, Mongolian, Tibetan, and Indian literature and practices of an earlier date. Under the general heading of chi kung, or Chinese internal alchemy, these practices are designed to create and mature a body of subtle astral and etheric energy that is capable of existence independent of material consciousness.

This body is also thought to be capable of infusing the material body with sufficient energy to allow it to become more subtle and ‘etherial’. This ‘etherialization’ is said to make the physical body, under the direction of the adept, capable of de-materialization at the time of death. Enoch, Ezekiel, the ascension of Jesus, his mother Mary, and even Mohammed with his horse, are often given as examples of this form of dematerialization in Western spiritual literature.

Unfortunately, while Eastern systems have maintained a working technical tradition of the theory and its application needed to achieve this goal, little information remains in the West of a similar nature. The idea of the ‘simulacrum’ is the closest we have, and may very well be the starting point of such experimentation. It can be seen from the Eastern literature available, that the idea of the “Body of Light” often called the “Rainbow” or “Diamond Body” is the perfection of a vehicle for the exteriorization (projection), and continuation of consciousness beyond material reality. This paper will attempt to show how the development of this body can be achieved through existing qabalistic practices, and that the stages of its growth corresponds to total realization on the Lunar (Yetzirah), Solar (Briah), and Saturnian (Daath) planes of consciousness.

It is important to realize what is meant by these ‘planes’ however, as they can be confusing when first encountered as an esoteric teaching.

When the Cosmic created the universe, humanity, or the ‘human seed’, that aspect of consciousness which was to grow into realization of godhood, descended from primal unity. This unity is symbolized by the Divine World of Atzilooth, and the Holy Upper Trinity in the Tree of Life.

When consciousness experiences increasing levels of density as matter is created, duality forms and continues to the material world. This first descent from unity to duality is the so-called “Fall” and to prevent a premature return to Unity, that is before all of creation could be encountered, a barrier was placed called in qabalistic literature, the Abyss. This is the “First Day of Creation” or appearance of time/space.

As the descent continued, the human seed experienced progressive levels of sexual polarization as well as being further removed from its memory of Divine consciousness. After the level of Divine Harmony in creation, or Tiphareth, the center of humanities sense of self, an additional barrier was created, the Veil, or Paroketh.

This is the appearance of individuality free of the Divine spark.

Finally, a third barrier of Veil is encountered, and that is what separates material creation from the psychic and spiritual worlds. Here, humanity has no memory of its Divine origin, and has complete free will to seek what it desires. (Hermetic.com)

The Art of Transmutation of Energies and Transmutation of Self.

Alchemy is a very broad topic. Like 'architecture', it means a lot of things and can be done in many different ways. It is often seen as transmuting bare metals into gold, which is only one of the very advanced paths of Alchemy. It is more about mastery over self and mastery over energies.

Alchemy works with different layers of energies: Physical, Emotional and Spiritual which are part of your energy field; then too, the Plane of Creation and Absolute which are beyond your energy field.

Enlightenment is about having your physical, emotional and spiritual selves in perfect alignment. Beyond enlightenment, you can still keep growing in power in the higher planes. You can access the entire Universe from within you.

Physical Energy (Shiny Black): The physical energy is the physical body. It is associated with the shiny black color. It is not a mat black. Think of the color of the cosmos with unlimited depth and energy. The physical energy is related to the 7 main chakras plus 5 chakras over the head (12 main chakras).

Emotional Energy (Shiny White): The emotional energy is the soul. It is associated with the shiny white color. The emotional energy is related to chakras 13 to 24 over the head.

Spiritual Energy (Shiny Red): The spiritual energy is the spirit. It is associated with the shiny red color. The spiritual energy is related to chakras 25 to 70 over the head.

Plane of Creation (Gold): Beyond the energy field is the Plane of Creation. This plane brings order to chaos in this world of co-creation. Visualizations and the Law of Attraction work on this plane. It is possible to connect to this plane to directly alter the flow of co-creation. Anything that exists in the physical reality first appears in the Plane of Creation. When a new idea pops into your mind, you connect to an energy already existing, in the Plane of Creation. It is associated with the gold color.

Alchemy: The Most Secretive of Arts

Llewellyn Worldwide: Along with astrology and the qabalah, alchemy is considered one of the principle branches of the Western Esoteric Tradition. But while many students are familiar with zodiacal charts and the fundamentals of the Tree of Life, far fewer are acquainted with the basics of alchemy. Too often alchemy is still wrongly caricatured as an attempt by medieval quack-scientists and con-men to gain quick wealth by turning lead into gold, or to dupe others into handing over their gold, only to receive a lump of lead in return while the swindler makes a quick getaway! The origins of Western alchemy date back to Graeco-Roman Egypt, particularly Alexandria. It was here that techniques of metallurgy and herbal medicine were combined with Greek philosophy, astrology, religion, and mythology to form the earliest Western teachings on alchemy. Medieval authors often called alchemy the "Hermetic Art," suggesting that the origin of this science was none other than the fabled master, Hermes Trismegistos, or "Hermes the Thrice Great," who was said to have written forty-two books covering all manner of knowledge. Greek philosophers, such as Empedocles and Aristotle, first developed the theory that everything in the universe was comprised of the four elements of fire, water, air, and earth. These were regarded as qualities that exist within all matter and not merely the outward expressions of the physical elements. The treatises of alchemy included the physical properties and the magical powers of the elements as well as various material substances in nature. After their conquest of Egypt in the seventh century, the Arabs absorbed the knowledge of the Alexandrian alchemists. By the middle of the seventh century alchemy had become a mystical discipline. The medieval Arabs carefully preserved the knowledge they had received and safeguarded all manner of Greek and Arabic alchemical treatises, which they brought to Spain in the eighth century. By 1350, several alchemical tracts were being copied in monastic scriptoria.

In truth, alchemy is the occult science of the transformation of matter. It is a philosophical wisdom tradition and a spiritual discipline that touches upon almost every aspect of the human experience. At its core, alchemy teaches that in this divine universe all matter comes into existence from a common substance or fusion of substances. Everything within the cosmos moves toward a state of perfection known as "gold," but only if the component materials are present in the right proportions or degree of purity. A Word on 'Dissolution'

Llewellyn Worldwide: The immersion into Dissolution doesn't eliminate any of the discomfort of Calcination, but rather adds an element of authenticity to the emotions that emerge. Even so, we may feel more frightened, lost, fearful of the unknown, and even panicked that without the ego's protective control, we will be harmed, criticized, or annihilated. In laboratory alchemy, the ashes of Calcination are dissolved in water in the Dissolution process. Transformational Dissolution connects us to our original, Divine emotions before the ego's protections taught us to reject our feelings as somehow wrong. Since our emotions are essential to the Soul's well-being, they must be reintegrated if we are to mature spiritually and become whole again. Whenever we feel any emotion, the worst thing we can do is to deny what we're feeling. Denial prevents access to the guidance and wisdom of our Sou,l and we continue feeling alone and we despair that we'll never be who we've always wanted to be.
