A Woven Web?

There is an intention here
A compulsion to lead
For the sorcerer becomes the spider once more
These writings are the corridors of another maze

But what is intended?
What clues are placed for the fly to follow?

Deeper and deeper
Come follow
Darker and darker
The trail leads on
Down and down
Round and round

Words with meanings hidden
Some writings obvious to the eye
But are they really what they seem?

Deeper into the catacombs you follow
Without clue now how to return
Requiring the dialogue trail now to return

But the light ahead

Is that the exit to the maze
Or merely a door into another
For no clue exists here to explain

A word of warning to the fly
All is not what it appears here on first observation
There are many layers
Many dimensions in which to muse

Be wary of making assumptions here
For remember it is I the spider who weaves this web
I am the ancient sorcerer
And I have a hidden agenda
That which I have yet to reveal ...
