Extra Sensorial Faculties and Intuition
Traditionally, we have five senses, which give us ideas that define our reality. These senses, are in fact, only the starting point of many other senses, which are vaster and deeper, and we must deepen in their meaning, importance, and real value. There are opinions against paranormal, nevertheless, this does not mean that the subject is not true since it is very serious and true subject, that generally has been mistreated. Besides, the public has been confused and disoriented.
Paranormal perception is a reality, a level of reception of the consciousness, through the mind and different levels of consciousness. This perception that goes beyond the known senses, is related to the level of serenity, calm and depth of the consciousness, which gives place to the mind extending its fundamental energy towards the universe. In other words: When the mind is serene, for example, in the experience of meditation, the energy of the mind is able to move and travel even higher than the individual and beyond time and space. These senses, have also been called, visceral senses, precognitive senses and also intuitive senses, which means, that one is able to perceive -without having to use reasoning- the emotions or the objective consciousness. Nevertheless, when the perception comes, is like a mixture of information. In many occasions is like a puzzle and that is the reason that many persons doubt the veracity of the experience...read more>>>

‘Apocalyptic’ Superstorm Hits UK`s Midlands and North East
Torrential storms battered parts of the Midlands and the north today causing almost unprecedented scenes with hundreds of shops and homes left flooded and many motorists having to be rescued from their vehicles.Meteorologists reported an incredible 153 lightning strikes a minute - around 20 times more than during usual lightning events as hailstones the size of golf balls rained down smashing car windows and damaging buildings. In some areas more than half a month’s rain fell in less than an hour. Rivers burst their banks while many small streams were transformed into raging torrents, leaving emergency services struggling to cope. At the storm’s peak, 153 lightning strikes were being recorded every minute. In Leicestershire the freak weather saw hailstones as big as golf balls crash down, some even smashing car windows...read more>>>...

Is the Baltic Sea 'Sunken UFO' an Elaborate Scam?
The ocean explorers who discovered a huge, UFO-shape object on the floor of the Baltic Sea last year are having a heck of a time figuring out what it is. A suspiciously hard time, some would say. The Swedish divers, who call themselves the Ocean X Team, claim the object is giving off electrical interference that keeps foiling their attempts to investigate it. "Anything electric out there - and the satellite phone as well - stopped working when we were above the object," said diver Stefan Hoberborn in an Ocean X press release. "And then we got away about 200 meters and it turned on again, and when we got back over the object it didn't work." As a result, there is still only one sonar image in existence of the 200-foot-wide (60-meter-wide) object, which UFO believers say is a crashed flying saucer. According to experts in remote imaging and geology, however, that image is "lacking in resolution, detail, and quantification," is riddled with "numerous processing artifacts" and looks like a spaceship only because the Ocean X team drew a Millennium Falcon-shape outline around it. Instead, the experts said, what the image shows is probably a roughly circular rock formation called a pillow basalt - rare, but very much of this world...read more>>>...
Moving Our Body
Our bodies love movement. When we stretch or dance, our bodies adjust, realign and start to become fluid with the rhythm of life. Our mood lifts and we feel more connected with the world around us. If you are feeling stuck, ready to release old energy, or eager to feel more alive, try moving your body. By giving your muscles a chance to do what they were created for, you may find that all areas of your body and your life benefit as well.
Many times we can be so busy that we forget moving our body is even an option. Some of us remain seated at our computer for hours every day or rush from task to task with robotic precision. When we are caught up in crossing items off our to-do lists, we tend to neglect all the opportunities there are to enjoy our bodies in the process of living. If this is true for you, begin looking for opportunities to move. You might try dancing or moving about freely as you clean your home, tend your garden or care for your children. If you are able to devote a set amount of time to self-care, practices such as yoga, dance, tai chi and walking are all great ways to keep your body in motion.
Imagine how freeing it would feel to trust your body’s movements completely, knowing it has a perfect strength and rhythm of its own. See if you can sense your bones providing graceful support, your muscles and tendons expanding and contracting in just the right measure, your lungs changing pace to fill deeply with fresh air. Movement is a vital celebration of life. It is a way to proclaim your own existence and relish in the joy of being alive. Today, and into the future, give yourself the gift of your body in motion.

What's Really Behind the Ingredients in 'Natural Flavors?'
What does the term "natural flavors" really mean? Could it be that the term "natural flavors" includes genetically modified, pesticide-laden food? There are also plenty of "food products" on the shelves that read "all natural" on the label, but they still contain large amounts of synthetic, laboratory-concocted food agents, many of which cause diseases and disorders. So how much more confusing can it get to simply shop for food that doesn't kill you slowly?
Exactly who makes the rules about terms put on labels? You better hope it doesn't all fall in the hands of the FDA, the same organization responsible for allowing genetically modified food to exist and be sold completely undercover ever since its inception. And does natural flavoring include the migraine headache monster monosodium glutamate? Also, can "natural flavoring" include bugs that are ground up to turn your food into some "happy" colors that help you celebrate some birthday or big event? One final question: could "natural flavoring" mean the food contains meat, even though it's a vegetarian or vegan product?...read more>>>...

Baltic Sea Object Emits Mysterious EMP Shield?
Ocean X team returns from their first expedition investigating the mysterious object they discovered in the Baltic Sea. The expedition was supposed to provide answers, but instead yielded yet more questions.
"We looked at our dive computer, the deep sea diver computer, and it said minus one degree that's pretty cold for a diver it should really be impossible to have that cold water it actually turns into ice at zero degrees but that could be explained by the movement of the water."
Also, some strange phenomenon occurred...

Importance of Second Chances
When we meet someone for the first time, we often create a defining image in our minds of who that person is. We may also determine whether or not that someone is worth getting to know. Sometimes when an initial interaction is particularly uncomfortable or challenging, we can decide to close our hearts to this new acquaintance entirely. But being too quick to judge can cause us to lose out on a potentially wonderful, enriching relationship. First impressions don’t always give the complete picture, so if you meet someone who leaves you less than impressed, consider giving them a second chance. You might be pleasantly surprised. Everyone deserves to be given a second chance. We know from personal experience how painful it can feel to be misunderstood or judged. We have good hearts and want them to be seen. We have so much to offer and want others to welcome our gifts. When someone shuts us out before they even know who we are, it can feel frustrating, hurtful, and confusing. By giving others a second chance, we can extend the same courtesy we would ask for ourselves. In this way, we set a precedent for all our relationships: to allow everyone the freedom and safety to simply be human. Whether it is a blind date, the man sitting next to you on the airplane, or your new neighbor, everyone has a full life outside of their interaction with you. They may be preoccupied with a personal or business situation that affects the way they are presenting themselves, or maybe they had a rough day or some bad news. If you give them the room to be who they are, where they are, you will allow yourself to do the same. When you are considering giving someone a second chance, first check in with your inner knowing. If you find that your intuition is advising you to keep your distance, it is important to honor the guidance you receive. By honoring your intuition when it has wisdom to share, you can feel confident and happy in your decision to give others a second chance

'UFO' at the bottom of the Baltic Sea 'cuts off electrical equipment when divers get within 200m'
The divers exploring a 'UFO-shaped' object at the bottom of the Baltic Sea say their equipment stops working when they approach within 200m. Professional diver Stefan Hogerborn, part of the Ocean X team which is exploring the anomaly, said some of the team's cameras and the team's satellite phone would refuse to work when directly above the object, and would only work once they had sailed away. He is quoted as saying: 'Anything electric out there - and the satellite phone as well - stopped working when we were above the object. Dodging and Deflecting
One of the most difficult challenges in life is learning not to take things to heart and hold on to it. Especially when we’re younger, or if we’re very sensitive, we take so much of what comes our way to heart. This can be overwhelming and unproductive if it throws us off balance on a regular basis. When we are feeling criticized or attacked from all directions, it becomes very difficult for us to recover ourselves so that we can continue to speak and act our truth. This is when we would do well to remember the old saying about letting certain things roll off us, like water off a duck’s back.
Most of the time, the attacks and criticisms of others have much more to do with them and how they are feeling than with us. If we get caught up in trying to adjust ourselves to other people’s negative energy, we lose touch with our core. In fact, in a positive light, these slings and arrows offer us the opportunity to strengthen our core sense of self, and to learn to dodge and deflect other people’s misdirected negativity. The more we do this, the more we are able to discern what belongs to us and what belongs to other people. With practice, we become masters of our energetic integrity, refusing to serve as targets for the disowned anger and frustration of the people around us.
Eventually, we will be able to hear the feedback that others have to offer, taking in anything that might actually be constructive, and releasing that which has nothing to do with us. First, though, we tend ourselves compassionately by recognizing when we can’t take something in from the outside without hurting ourselves. This is when we make like a duck, shaking it off and letting it roll off our back as we continue our way in the world. (Daily Om)

Spiritual Insight for the Day
"Mysticism emphasizes spiritual knowing, which is not rational and is independent of reason, logic or images. Da`at is Hebrew for “the secret sphere of knowledge on the cosmic tree.” Gnosis is Greek for the “intuitive apprehension of spiritual truths.” Jnana is Sanskrit for “knowledge of the way” to approach Brahman. Ma`rifa in Arabic is “knowledge of the inner truth.” Panna in Pali is “direct awareness”; perfect wisdom. These modes of suprarational knowing, perhaps described as complete intuitive insight, are not divine oneness; they are actualizing our inherent abilities to come closer to the goal. It is consummate cognition, unmediated discernment, with certainty."( taken from suprarational.org/gail2012/"The divine is not...")

Water Meditation
Our bodies are over fifty percent water, so it makes sense that human beings have always considered water to be a sacred source of life and healing. It is literally half of who we are, and well over half of the earth’s surface is water. Water cleanses and hydrates, contains and produces nourishment, and when we enter it, holds us in an embrace that leaves no part of us untouched. Meditating with water can be a powerful way of aligning ourselves more fully with this support system that makes life both possible and pleasurable on so many levels.
We may wish to conduct our meditation while in physical contact with a body of water, whether in the intimacy of our bathtub or the vast container of an ocean. We might float on our backs in a swimming pool or sit with just our feet submerged in a pond or creek. On the other hand, we may simply close our eyes and choose a location based on our imagination. Whatever we choose, we can begin by closing our eyes and listening to our breathing. At the same time, we tune in to the particular music of the water we have chosen—the loud rushing of a river or waterfall, or the surreal silence of the world beneath the surface of the ocean. We might consider how the type of water we choose reflects what we seek—the peace beneath the hectic surface of life, the cleansing power of a river racing through a canyon, or the mood lifting, melodic bubbling of a lively creek.
As we move between awareness of our breath and awareness of the water in which we find ourselves, we can begin to release the things we no longer need into the rushing river, or release ourselves completely into the water’s embrace as we float, in our minds, in the watery womb of an ocean or a lake. When you feel you are ready to return to more solid ground, ease your body back onto earth, in your mind or in reality, and lie flat on your back, allowing the water to bead and roll off your skin, soaking the earth and evaporating into the air, leaving you cleansed, healed, and renewed.

Tarot Inspiration For Today
Tarot Images for this week - '3 of Crescents'; 'Keeper of Staves'; '9 of Staves' and 'The Priest' ... the tarot message reads "a good week for the birth of new ambitions IF ideas & opportunities are considered in the cold light of day, without any emotional attachment to situations or people the opportunity will lead you away from. New projects planned or discussed this week are more than likely to reach fruition before August 2012 as the universe hints at the urgency of getting these ideas taking place . There are also indications of situations in the coming week that require tact & diplomacy, especially where there are issues relating to other people's viewpoints/beliefs and backgrounds" - Matthew James 25th June 2012

Quote for the Day
"Mindfulness means moment-to-moment, non-judgmental awareness. It is cultivated by refining our capacity to pay attention, intentionally, in the present moment, and then sustaining that attention over time as best we can. In the process, we become more in touch with our life as it is unfolding" -- Myla & Jon Kabat-Zinn
Chakras. A Circle. A Flower.
Life is a circle and at the same time is only a first step, which contains all what man has made: His laughs and his cries are there. There is nothing that is not found in its bosom. Because it is like the voice of man. It will talk to you about his feelings. Chakras are circles which have inside, the secret of the flower: The flower of existence. The flower of consciousness and unconsciousness, of reason and unreason. Of truth and lies. Of birth and death. There is a mystical spiritual consciousness in this science, which can't be contained. It has an unmatchable faculty. It gives the ones who study it, a very special revelation of life, with the deepest and most complete, the subtlest, most delicate and perfect secrets. Chakras, are the inner path of man. They are the form to distinguish, to differentiate what is in his evolution. They reveal his journey and his end. And the middle point is this moment. They reveal all the paths and secrets of eternity...read more>>>...
Poison is Treatment: The Campaign to Fluoridate America
The wide scale US acceptance of fluoride-related compounds in drinking water and a wide variety of consumer products over the past half century is a textbook case of social engineering orchestrated by Sigmund Freud's nephew and the “father of public relations” Edward L. Bernays. The episode is instructive, for it suggests the tremendous capacity of powerful interests to reshape the social environment, thereby prompting individuals to unwarily think and act in ways that are often harmful to themselves and their loved ones. The example is especially pertinent today as Western governments withhold data and utilize propaganda techniques to suppress knowledge of new technologies and life-threatening disasters such as the still-unfolding nuclear breakdown in Fukushima. Today the battle over water fluoridation remains obscured in caricature and falsification often perpetuated by the mainstream press itself. The potential for popular myth to eclipse historical fact is greatly accelerated when the political and informational pillars of civilization actively support such distortions. For example, a recent New York Times editorial points to “that cold war paranoia about fluoridation in drinking water [sic].” Citing the Center for Disease Control’s claim that fluoridation is one of the top accomplishments in public health over the past century, the Times evokes fluoride’s difficult struggle with purportedly uninformed segments of the public. “Critics no longer contend that fluoridation is a Communist plot. Instead, they express concerns about the costs involved, improper government control over a personal decision, and potential health dangers.”The refrain is familiar throughout a corporate-controlled media that unquestioningly amplifies the pronouncements of government agencies concerning fluoride's alleged safety and value for dental health. Having been seemingly vetted and upheld by the newspaper of record and its counterparts, such sweeping declarations are seldom interrogated further by readers, much less the broader public...read more>>>...
Question Me "The Naming of The Four Mediums"
I was asked at a recent Psychic Expo about the origins of 'The Four Mediums' and how the idea was started ...
The concept of The Four Mediums was born in July 2011 when I suggested to Suzie Price, one Saturday night after a live broadcast at Psychic TV Oz, that we should go on tour together. The original plan had been for me and Suzie Price to appear on stage together. Suzie had agreed, and had thought it was a fantastic idea. I'd then spoken to fellow medium Harry T on the phone about the concept of the live show idea. He'd been very interested ... and so we started planning a live show featuring the three of us. Suzie Price had also suggested we approach Luke Patrick, who she had previously done shows with in the past. This was the basic formation plan of the Four Mediums.
It had been Harry T who devised the name 'The Psychic Four' ... but the name was later changed to the Four Mediums, after I'd made the comment we would be 'like Abba or something so we should be the 'Mediums 4' ... we all agreed that the Four Mediums was a good concept name. Unfortunately, Luke was unavailable for our first show ... so a local Psychic & Angel card reader, who I'd appeared on stage with previously, was invited along as a stand in, and would subsequently feature in a further show.
As fate would have it, Harry T was unable to make the first performance and Robert Nacson was drafted in at the 11th hour for our first show in Parramatta late last year. Our 2nd show, in Newcastle, featured Luke Patrick who then became a permanent member of the Four Mediums ... alongside Suzie Price and myself. The fourth medium position has subsequently become a 'guest medium' space ...with a number of reputable Australian mediums planned to be on stage, in the future, beside the permanent members - Matthew James, Suzie Price & Luke Patrick. More Four Mediums shows are being planned for late 2012 and early 2013 ...

Feel-Good Brain Chemical's Role in Sleep
A feel-good brain chemical called dopamine has been linked to everything from laziness and creativity to impulsivity and a tendency to partake in one-night stands. Now, we can add sleep regulation to that list. When dopamine latches onto its receptor in a special part of the brain, it seems to signal the body to "wake up" by turning down levels of the sleepiness hormone melatonin, the researchers found. The first clue to this new discovery came when researchers noticed that dopamine receptor 4, a protein on the outside of certain cells that binds to dopamine, was active in the part of the brain called pineal gland. This gland regulates our internal clock, known as our circadian rhythm, by releasing melatonin in response to light. Interestingly, the presence of this dopamine receptor on pineal gland cells seemed to cycle with the time of the day - the receptor numbers were higher at night and lower during the day...read more>>>...

Inner Awareness
Every person in this world has access to their inner awareness. We all live in a very materialistic world that is run by logic and scientific achievement and discovery. For something to be real, you must perceive it with your physical senses. If you’re inner awareness has not been developed and fine-tuned, then you may find many activities and energies around have no conscious awareness for you, so you will be out of touch with your inner self.
Your goal is to create a balance between the physical senses and the inner senses. There are two energies muscular and feminine. A masculine energy is more aggressive, a logical action to take, which results in a creation of something in the physical world. A feminine energy is a more flowing and spontaneous energy that relates more to the spiritual essence of our being. Inherent within all beings are both energies. When they work together, they create a harmonic balance.
A key element in developing your inner awareness’s is to trust an initial response, answer or insight you receive from yourself. For example, how many times have you had an intuitive insight to do something, which made no logical sense at all?...read more>>>...

"Q: How can I handle unpleasant emotions from others?
A: Understand them. If someone is furious, see it as an out- burst of his false self. A furious man acts out a false role, having no relation to reality. He has unhealthy notions that life should conform to his demands. Understand the furious man, but never coddle, for that only worsens him."-- Vernon Howard

China X-files: UFOs Spotted at Space Rocket Launch
UFO watchers believe that extra-terrestrial beings were tracking China's first female astronaut as she rocketed into space last Saturday. The incident happened after the manned spacecraft, Shenzhou 9, lifted off and exited the atmosphere at an altitude of about 15,000m. Infrared video cameras captured two unidentified objects moving swiftly past the rocket at the four minutes and 11 seconds mark. This has sparked a heated debate between alien life supporters and non-believers. "What else can they be if not UFOs? They were faster than the rocket!" said one pro-ET expert. Observers at the launch didn't report seeing the mysterious lights cross the rocket's path as the craft headed for the Tiangong 1 space station orbiting 343km above the earth. But the lift-off was broadcast live on TV across China and viewers were quick to spot the split-second sighting - two shining objects flying horizontally in front of the rocket. This isn't China's first encounter with UFOs, but this wouldn't be such a big deal if Shenzhou 9 weren't carrying three humans that included Liu Yang, China's first female astronaut. And science experts have no explanation for the phenomenon...read more>>>...
High intake of cholesterol shown to actually repair damaged brains
Including high-cholesterol foods as part of a healthy diet may not be the poor dietary choice we have all been told it is, suggests a new study published in the journal Nature Medicine. It turns out that cholesterol actually helps increase production of an important component of the nervous system that facilitates proper nerve cell communication, and prevents the onset of brain diseases such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease.
The study focused specifically on patients with a condition known as Pelizaeus-Merzbacher disease (PMD), in which nerve cells are unable to properly manufacture protective myelin sheaths. It is these myelin sheaths, which are composed of lipid fats and proteins, that allow nerves to communicate and send appropriate electrical signals that trigger movement and cognition, and that protect nerves from damage...read more>>>...

The Importance of Selfless Networking
If we’re in this at all we’re in it all the way. Once you’ve woken up you know the situation is both urgent and fully under control at the same time. It doesn’t reconcile in the carnal, natural mind but it makes total sense to consciousness.Paradoxes seem to abound, but it better not mean paralysis. To the truly awake it means action in some form. To sit and try to transcend it all or explain everything away in esoteric gibberish and do nothing about our condition within the extemporaneously unfolding world we find ourselves I think is foolish, irresponsible, escapist and even cowardly...read more>>>...

Saying Yes to the Universe
The hardest thing about saying yes to the universe is that it means accepting everything life puts in front of us. Most of us have a habit of going through our days saying no to the things we don’t like and yes to the things we do, and yet, everything we encounter is our life. We may be afraid that if we say yes to the things we don’t like, we will be stuck with them forever, but really, it is only through acknowledging the existence of what’s not working for us that we can begin the process of change. So saying yes doesn’t mean indiscriminately accepting things that don’t work for us. It means conversing with the universe, and starting the conversation with a very powerful word—yes.
When we say yes to the universe, we enter into a state of trust that whatever our situation is, we can work with it. We express confidence in ourselves, and the universe, and we also express a willingness to learn from whatever comes our way, rather than running and hiding when we don’t like what we see. The question we might ask ourselves is what it will take for us to get to the point of saying yes. For some of us, it takes coming up against something we can’t ignore, escape, or deny, and so we are left no choice but to say yes. For others, it just seems a natural progression of events that leads us to making the decision to say yes to life.
The first step to saying yes is realizing that in the end it is so much easier than the alternative. Once we understand this, we can begin examining the moments when we resist what is happening, and experiment with occasionally saying yes instead. It might be scary at first, and even painful at times, but if we continue to say yes to every moment through the process, we will discover the joy of being in a positive conversation with a force much bigger than ourselves.

What is Esoteric Service?
One expression of service is the application of spiritual energy to raise the energies in a situation and help bring conditions into alignment with the Plan. This may be termed “esoteric service,” for it is based in a level of consciousness beyond the personality.
The “plan” may be the plan for the planet, for an individual or for all areas in between or beyond. While we may never know completely what the plan is, we can, nonetheless, contribute to its realization. In fact it may be better that we don’t fully know the plan, for we, limited by the physical world, may not be able to grasp it fully and thereby, could distort it. Higher truth can be very fragile in the lower planes. That’s not intended as a slam against well intended servers, only a statement of fact.
Let’s look at it this way. The conditions in the lower planes on this planet are extremely dense and often obscure a clear perception of Spirit. This only means that it takes more growth, effort and development to be an esoteric server. It is a process whereby one gradually increases perception, consciousness and understanding that leads to progressively potent expressions of higher principles. This is nothing more than saying that a businessman with years of experience has greater capability, range and insight than the recent graduate who is starting his first job.
The Plan as we define it is created and exists at the level of the Soul, or higher. Therefore, to comprehend it we have to go to it, rather than bring it down to us. Besides, such plans deal with Spiritual qualities and higher energies, not specific physical events or situations. This is good, for in this kind of service we don’t need to get hung up on specific outcomes. There’s a lot of freedom in this even though it may be uncomfortable to personalities who want to control and mentally understand...read more>>>...

The invisible threat that pulls apart DNA, causing genetic disorders and cancer
We are all exposed to electromagnetic radiation constantly on a daily basis from mobile phones, Wifi hot spots, power lines and electrical appliances. The sources of this pollution are many and varied, each having its own range of wavelength, frequency and intensity. How does the artificial electromagnetic soup that we bathe in every day affect our most precious gift, our DNA? Our DNA is a polar molecule which is affected by charged particles and electromagnetic fields, much in the same way as other polar molecules. Put simply, a polar molecule such as water has predominantly negative and positive regions. The charge on the molecule will align itself with the direction of an electromagnetic field. When the field oscillates then the molecule will switch from one direction to the other resulting in increased temperature, this is essentially the workings of the microwave oven. The issue with DNA, however, is not merely one of increasing temperature. Many studies into mobile phone frequency EM radiation have only studied the heating effects. Whilst heating of the brain does occur, this is not the only cause of concern. The internal components of the DNA structure are rotated at different frequencies and different rates and the external ribbons of deoxyribose and phosphate are rotated and pulled...read more>>>..
Associated Press Caught Lying About Water Fluoridation
It seems as though every time an American town or city drops the added fluoride chemicals from its water supply, the dinosaur media comes out with its usual talking points about how water fluoridation is one of the greatest public health interventions ever granted by the government to its minions, and that without added fluoride chemicals, everyone's teeth would rot right out of their heads.
These are just a few of the many deluded and outdated lies that get repeated over and over, ad nauseam, every time a community dares to challenge the prevailing fluoride dogma of the day -- and these are lies that, fortunately, many people are learning to simply disregard. But one of the more sneaky lies now getting repeated is the one which implies that added fluoride chemicals are no different than the naturally occurring fluoride elements already present in many water supplies...read more>>>...

Allowing Our Light to Shine
There are times when we may not feel at our best and brightest. At those times we can take a look at what we might do to let our inner light shine to the fullest. Because we are physical, mental and spiritual beings, we need to determine where our spiritual light is being filtered or blocked. We can work from the outside inward, knowing that we are the only ones with the power to dim our lights, and as we clear away the layers we can get out of our own way to feel the warmth of our own light shining again.
As vehicles for our mind and spirit, our bodies require proper maintenance. Caring for ourselves is like polishing--helping to clear away the accumulation of physical debris that keeps us from operating at our fullest capacity. A simple shift in our thoughts can positively affect our mental state, moving from complaints to gratitude and applying the powerful light of love to any shadowy thoughts. A change of scenery can allow us to see the world in new ways too.
Once we are free of our restrictions, we can become still and connect to the power at the center of our being. It is always there for us, but when we forget to connect, or siphon our power in too many directions, we cannot make the most of our energy. Starting from the inside out may direct us to take the right steps for our journeys back to the light, but sometimes it can be difficult to find the stillness if our bodies and minds are in the way. As we practice steps to keep our energy flowing freely and without obstruction, we shine our light brightly, illuminating our own paths and making the world around us glow as well.

The Path of Kaph
The letter of the path is Kaph which has the meaning of 'open hand' or 'palm'. In physical terms, the human hand is amongst the most astonishing creations of nature, able to shape the physical level of experience in a remarkable variety of ways. The best example perhaps is that of the hands of a skilled craftsman able to shape raw materials into any number of practical & functional things. As a symbol, the hand has long been linked with ideas of mastery and creativity; power; structure and rulership.
The path text deals with the same power of creativity from a more exalted position. The path is called the intelligence of conciliation; basically this can be interpreted best by relating it to the specific nature of the path's effect. It works to conciliate, to bring conflicting forces into harmony.
The hand of Kaph is in the act of grasping, and this image shows comprehension, as well as a hand grasping a doorknob. It is also the "palm of the hand," so we can see this as the protective "nest," "vessel," or "cradle" in which the cycles of the wheel can transpire. Grasping a doorknob and opening a door, grasping an opportunity, this is the "hand" that influences fortune, the subject of this key. It shows the learning that comes from repeated cycles, and the influence we can have over what seems to be chance...read more>>>...

Mindful Multitasking: Meditation First Can Calm Stress, Aid Concentration
Need to do some serious multitasking? Some training in meditation beforehand could make the work smoother and less stressful, new research from the University of Washington shows. Work by UW Information School professors David Levy and Jacob Wobbrock suggests that meditation training can help people working with information stay on tasks longer with fewer distractions and also improves memory and reduces stress. Their paper was published in the May edition of Proceedings of Graphics Interface. Levy, a computer scientist, and Wobbrock, a researcher in human-computer interaction, conducted the study together with Information School doctoral candidate Marilyn Ostergren and Alfred Kaszniak, a neuropsychologist at the University of Arizona. "To our knowledge, this is the first study to explore how meditation might affect multitasking in a realistic work setting," Levy said...read more>>>...

"I never know what the next lesson is going to be, because we’re not supposed to know; we’re supposed to trust ourselves to discover it." -- Melody Beattie
Beyond Reacting
We have all had the experience of reacting in a way that was less than ideal upon hearing bad news, or being unfairly criticized, or being told something we did not want to hear. This makes sense because when our emotions are triggered, they tend to take center stage, inhibiting our ability to pause before we speak. We may feel compelled to release the tension by expressing ourselves in some way, whether it’s yelling back at the person yelling at us, or rushing to deliver words of comfort to a friend in trouble. However, there is much to be said for teaching ourselves to remember to pause and take a deep breath before we respond to the shocks and insults that can come our way in life.
For one thing, our initial response is not always what’s best for us, or for the other people involved. Reacting to childish rage with childish rage will only escalate the negativity in a situation, further ensnaring us in an undesirable dynamic. Similarly, when we react defensively, or simply thoughtlessly, we often end up feeling regret over our words or actions. In the end, we save ourselves a lot of pain when we take a deep breath and really tune in to ourselves, and the other person, before we respond. This doesn’t necessarily mean we don’t say anything, although in some cases, that may be the best option.
Some situations require a fairly immediate response, but even just a moment of grounding ourselves before we do so can help enormously. The next time you find yourself wanting to react, try to pause, and in that pause, take a deep breath. Feel your feet on the floor, the air on your skin, and listen for a response to arise within you, rather than just going with the first thing that pops into your head. You may find that in that moment, there is the potential to move beyond reaction and into the more subtle and creative realm of response, where something new can happen. (Daily OM)

Art of Following Intuition
I N T U I T I O N Copyright (All rights reserved) Matthew James 2012 |
Your intuition will most likely push you gently toward taking some appropriate risks and trying new things. For example, you might have a fantasy of doing something creative that you haven't done before, such as taking art, dancing, or music lessons. An inner critic voice might try to stop you from risking failure or embarrassment by whispering in your ear, "Don't be silly, you're not creative!" or "You're much too old to start something totally new." You can acknowledge your inner critic and thank it for its attempt to protect you from humiliation. Then you can go ahead and give it a try anyway.
Your intuition may be trying to show you that you have a new direction in which you need to move or that there is something within you that is trying to come through. If you give yourself permission to try it, you don't have to be great at it; just do it for fun. Follow your intuitive impulse and see what happens. It may open a new door for you. It may give you a chance to play and discover a new part of your personality that you haven't learned to express before...read more>>>...

Baltic 'UFO': New Dive, New Details
A "UFO-shaped" object, found at the bottom of the Baltic Sea last year, has puzzled many. And a Swedish expedition that plunged into the deep eventually surfaced with more questions than answers. Covered in soot, with little "fireplace"-like structures and lying at the end of a 300-meter "runway" - this is not something you would expect to find sitting on the sea floor. And whatever you think about extraterrestrial life, "the thing" is still there and there has to be an explanation." So what could it be? On June 19, 2011, a team of Swedish treasure hunters was exploring the bottom of the Baltic Sea with their sonars when they noticed a bizarre, disc-like structure at a depth of 90 meters. Back then, international experts failed to explain the sonar images. In 2012, after months of preparation, the Ocean X Team, as they call themselves, went back in order to unveil the mystery...read more>>>...
Allowing Ourselves to Receive
Giving and receiving are part of the same cycle, and we each give and receive in our own ways. But we can lose our balance when we try to be too controlling on either side of the cycle. On the receiving end, we may feel that we don’t deserve the effort made if what we gave was easy for us to give. But perhaps there is a different lesson there for us. We may be receiving not only gratitude, but a chance to see the world through the eyes of another. We may be learning that just because we gave easily, it doesn’t diminish its value. Or perhaps the universe is giving us an example to hold close to our hearts, to encourage us on some future day when our own generous act of giving is not met with a visible act of receiving. When we can allow ourselves to receive as well as give, we do our part to keep the channels of abundance open for ourselves and others.
Sometimes we may find ourselves struggling to respond to others’ gifts in the same ways—like responding to an expensive present with something equally expensive, or feeling like we have to throw a dinner party for someone who has thrown one for us. But when these are done out of a sense of obligation, their energy changes from something that shares to something that drains. If this sounds familiar, we can decide next time to allow ourselves to receive with arms, minds and hearts open and simply say thank you.
Accepting a person’s gift is a gift in itself. Sincere appreciation for their acknowledgement and their effort joins our energy with theirs in the cycle of giving and receiving, and nurtures all involved. If ever we find we are still having difficulty, we can decide to allow ourselves to be conduits for gratitude and accept on behalf of a loving, giving universe. (Daily OM)

Mystery disc-like object stumps Baltic Sea divers
Underwater treasure hunters photograph object as conspiracy theorists claim hoax. A crew of Swedish divers scavenging the Baltic Sea for treasures has shared new images of their baffling discovery - a large disc-shaped object settled on the seabed. In a press release that sounds as if it were inspired by the underwater sci-fi film The Abyss, the unidentified object is described as circular, with rounded sides and rugged edges. "The object had an egg-shaped hole leading into it from the top, as an opening," the release said, drawing comparisons from several media outlets to the fictional Millenium Falcon spacecraft featured in Star Wars. Stefan Hogeborn, one of the divers in the expedition, said he was perplexed by the shape and structure of the circular object, which is about 60 metres in diameter and rises three to four metres from the seabed. That's roughly the size of a jumbo jet. Adding to the mystery, the object was also reported to have a 400-metre-long trail leading away from it, similar in appearance to skid marks. Another smaller disc-shaped object was found nearby, also with apparent drag lines about the same length...read more>>>...

Signs That You May Need An Aura Clearing
Aura clearing (cleaning) is vital to your personal and spiritual growth! Your aura, the field of energy that surrounds your body, needs to occasionally be detoxified and healed of the damage that accumulates over time. In some cases, people carry this damage from past lifetimes. Regardless of the cause of this damage, a toxic aura can negatively affect your thoughts, feelings and attitudes to a point that is destructive to your well-being. The good news is that this harmful damage can easily be erased, setting you free from the prison of self-limitation.
The signs include:-
1.Ongoing feelings of physical, mental, or emotional discomfort.
2.Recently went through a major transition: a divorce, a move, a change in employment.
3.Have a chronic physical condition that refuses to yield to treatment.
4.Have various stress related symptoms.
5.Feel drained of energy.
6.Have associated long-term with negative people....read more of this article>>>...

Cul-De-Sacs And Roundabouts ...
The honeycomb of division and divide and rule that is human society can clearly be seen in the bee colony that we call ‘life’. The individual hexagram sections of a honeycomb are known as cells and a greater symbol of human society I can hardly imagine.
There is a religious cell, ‘science’ cell; political cell; racial cell; cultural cell; income cell; ‘class’ cell, even a sell cell for those who are obsessed with selling whatever they can get people to buy. I met one of these people once wearing a tee-shirt that said: ‘I sell, therefore I am.’ These various cells pretty much work in isolation and when they do interact it is normally in pursuit of personal benefit ...
… But what is called ‘alternative’ thinking and thinking out of the ‘box’ is also structured in a honeycomb form. We have New Agers (not all) that cannot or will not encompass the fact that humanity is being subjected to a monstrous conspiracy to enslave the global population far more fundamentally than even we see now.
We have native peoples (though not every individual) entrapped in a cultural time-warp in which they ceased to expand their knowledge once their cultural dominance was surpassed by colonial invaders and they now go around and around generation after generation just repeating what the previous generation has taught them about the world and reality.
We have conspiracy researchers who, through religious, ‘scientific’ or academic beliefs and programming, refuse to even consider information and insight that would take them far deeper in the rabbit hole because it contradicts their religious, ‘scientific’ or academic beliefs and programming.
They say that everyone has their price (not true, but far too close to it) and it is also correct on the same basis that almost everyone has their immovable belief. This is a version of ‘price’ in that some people sell their right to free choice, action and behaviour for money, while others do the same in servitude to a belief system. (David Icke)

Repressing the Inner Voice
In many ways, we are taught from the time we are children to give away our power to others. When we were told to kiss and hug relatives or friends of the family when we didn’t want to, for example, we were learning to override our inner sense of knowing and our right to determine for ourselves what we want to do. This repression continued, most likely, in many experiences at school and in situations at work. At this point, we may not even know how to hold on to our power, because giving it away is so automatic and ingrained.
To some degree, giving our energy to other people is simply part of the social contract, and we feel that we have to do it in order to survive. It is possible to exchange energy in a way that preserves our inner integrity and stability. This begins in a small way: by listening to the voice that continues to let us know what we want, no matter how many times we override its messages.
Other examples of how we give away our power are buying into trends, letting other people always make decisions for us, not voting, and not voicing an opinion when an inappropriate joke is made. But with not giving our power away we must also be aware of the opposite side, which is standing in our power but being aggressive. Being aggressive is a form of fear, and the remedy is to let our inner balance come back into play.
As we build a relationship with our power, and follow it, we begin to see that we don’t always have to do what we’re being asked to do by others, and we don’t have to jump on every trend. All we have to do is have the confidence to listen to our own voice and let it guide us as we make our own decisions in life and remember the necessity for balance...read more>>>...

Self-Love is Unconditional Love
We are raised with notions that “love” has something to do with how we express ourselves toward others. We think that when we love someone, we will compromise and make them feel better and will sacrifice ourselves and do anything for the object of our adoration. While this is true to a point, it is backwards. You can not love another until you fully embrace yourself. The notion that you must cater to the needs of others in the name of love creates internal conflict and it is really the furthest thing from love. We are taught that we must strive to be good but that implies that we are inherently bad or that there is something we must achieve or do in order to be good and loved. We set ourselves up for lives of unhappiness and Self-sacrifice feeling that love comes from an external source and to attain it, we must cater to the perceived needs of others. When we can embrace the totality of who we are, and embrace all of our moods and all of what we are, whether we like the characteristics or not, we then allow ourselves to be Self-loving. You can’t help whether you feel anger or love in any moment, and you can’t control other people and their perceptions. All you can do is surrender control and accept yourself and what you feel in any given moment, whether that feeling is of wanting to kiss someone or whether you want to kick them. You don’t have to act on it, you merely need to accept that you feel it and once you accept it, then you can change it if you desire. You can’t change something you are unwilling to see...read more of this article here>>>...
