Curiosity rover filmed something flying across the Mars horizon - what is it?

Object 1 ascends in the middle of horizon 0:03. Object 2 appears at the far left at 0:24. Possible explanations are satellites, meteors, parts of the rovers landing gear, stars etc. Objects still remain unidentified. Leaked video footage or photo time laps (1 frame per second?) taken by the NASA Mars Curiosity Rover of unidentified objects in the sky and ascending from the ground. What's happening on the moon?

An amazing video posted on YouTube claims to show UFO activity on the lunar surface and unidentified flying objects hovering above the Moon. Can it be true? The video, clips apparently taken from a longer documentary called "Moon Rising" is compelling because the objects caught on video don't seem to be lens flares or smudges. They seem to be substantial and in motion. The creator of the video, timw1959, uses clips which show the Moon in relief against the blackness of space. In two easily observed sequences, there is unusual activity which does seem to show that something is moving around on the lunar surface and flying through the sky. The first UFO seems to be dipping in and out of a crater, identified as Langrenus. The object is black, rounded, and relatively large and appears to hug the crater rim for several seconds. The second object is a white oval, similar to a classic flying saucer shape, which rises up into the lunar atmosphere and appears to be flying over the horizon.(SOTT)

Permission to Be Real

Most of us are familiar with the idea of keeping it real and have an intuitive sense about what that means. People who keep it real don’t hide behind a mask to keep themselves safe from their fear of how they might be perceived. They don’t present a false self in order to appear more perfect, more powerful, or more independent. People who keep it real present themselves as they truly are, the good parts and the parts most of us would rather hide, sharing their full selves with the people who are lucky enough to know them.

Being real in this way is not an easy thing to do as we live in a culture that often shows us images of physical and material perfection. As a result, we all want to look younger, thinner, wealthier, and more successful. We are rewarded externally when we succeed at this masquerade, but people who are real remind us that, internally, we suffer. Whenever we feel that who we are is not enough and that we need to be bigger, better, or more exciting, we send a message to ourselves that we are not enough. Meanwhile, people who are not trying to be something more than they are walk into a room and bring a feeling of ease, humor, and warmth with them. They acknowledge their wrinkles and laugh at their personal eccentricities without putting themselves down.

People like this inspire us to let go of our own defenses and relax for a moment in the truth of who we really are. In their presence, we feel safe enough to take off our masks and experience the freedom of not hiding behind a barrier. Those of us who were lucky enough to have a parent who was able to keep it real may find it easier to be that way ourselves. The rest of us may have to work a little harder to let go of our pretenses and share the beauty and humor of our real selves. The Shining Star - A Fresh Look

In response to a recent request in a private Facebook message ... I've elected to spend some time once more analysing the Madeleine McCann mystery. I've not posted any fresh Daily Merlin Insights in recent times ... no new information has been downloaded to me in this time. However, my intention here is to use The Servants Of The Light tarot once more with the 8 of Weapons (Pictured left) as the spread significator. In Daily Merlin Insights ... this particular card represented 'the elusive location'. 

Drawing four images and placing them around the significator; we get ... The Maker of Spheres, Four of Crescents; Giver of Spheres; Maker of Weapons. From this my intention is to establish a link with the situation once more. The initial observations of the two Spheres images is the reference to egg shaped objects and the obvious scenario of Madeleine's conception and her birth. The Maker representing who had instigated the IVF process and the Giver representing who had made it possible for the McCann's to undergo the process. The Maker of Weapons implies the creation of a false trail or 'conspiracy' to hide the events of this entire process. But why? How can this have lead to the abduction of Madeleine in any way, shape or form. The Four Of Crescents has the strong insight of 'disappointment' and a person or a family angered by the situation. The concept here suggests strongly Madeleine was a valuable 'merchanise' which left her wide open for abduction. Those who offered the spheres and the IVF process appear to be the double dealing suspects for the abduction. The feeling that there is a woman involved in the IVF process who is responsible for 'giving the word' for Madeleine to be taken is sensed here. But who? And where is the elusive location ...? A safe house where Madeleine is still be kept? Madeleine being a product of a very valuable process maybe? This is something shady ... as I have always said. With many rich and influential people involved in the whole heist. I strongly feel Madeleine is still very much alive. However I suspect a 'recovery' or a 're-emergence' is never likely to make the news unless it suits a media moguls agenda - MJ 16/8/12

A Word on "Empathy"

To show empathy is to identify with another's feelings. It is to emotionally put yourself in the place of another. The ability to empathize is directly dependent on your ability to feel your own feelings and identify them. 

If you have never felt a certain feeling, it will be hard for you to understand how another person is feeling. This holds equally true for pleasure and pain. If, for example, you have never put your hand in a flame, you will not know the pain of fire. If you have not experienced sexual passion, you will not understand its power. Similarly, if you have never felt rebellious or defiant, you will not understand those feelings. Reading about a feeling and intellectually knowing about it is very different than actually experiencing it for yourself. Among those with an equal level of innate emotional intelligence, the person who has actually experienced the widest range and variety of feelings -- the great depths of depression and the heights of fulfillment, for example, -- is the one who is most able to empathize with the greatest number of people from all walks of life. Is Death An Illusion? Evidence Suggests Death Isn't the End

After the death of his old friend, Albert Einstein said "Now Besso has departed from this strange world a little ahead of me. That means nothing. People like us ... know that the distinction between past, present and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion." 

New evidence continues to suggest that Einstein was right - death is an illusion. 

Our classical way of thinking is based on the belief that the world has an objective observer-independent existence. But a long list of experiments shows just the opposite. We think life is just the activity of carbon and an admixture of molecules - we live awhile and then rot into the ground. We believe in death because we've been taught we die. Also, of course, because we associate ourselves with our body and we know bodies die. End of story. Mars Today III

The bottom image is the portion of a seemingly innocuous image beamed back from Mars by the Curiosity Probe. What caught my eye on its straight away was the portion of  blue grey in the middle ground. Adjusting the hue on this image produced the middle image ... doesn't that blue grey look like water? If this was an image from Earth you would instantly agree with me! Now look at the zoomed image at the top ...water? It does appear to be water! There appears to be worn paths and tracks on the image too. Again, with my conspiracy head in place, I muse over the possibilities ... (1) it isn't water but sand of a different density to other areas of the image; (2) it is water ... but why release such a controversial image of Mars with this on to the world press?; (3) it is water ... but this image is actually on earth (The twin live image feed theory) ... I will let you decide. 

Feeling Jealous

Jealousy is one of the toughest feelings we come up against in our lives. There is not much worse than this aching sense that somehow life has been unfair to us, while amply rewarding someone else. It’s even worse if that someone else is present in our daily lives, making it difficult for us to get the space we need to feel and heal our pain. We may be jealous of a sibling, a dear friend, or even famous personalities. We may even face the challenge of feeling jealous of our spouse, our child, or one of our parents. Whatever the case, we can normalize our experience by understanding that, as painful as it is, jealousy is a common human feeling.

Nevertheless, it is important that we not revel in our jealousy for too long, feeding it with inner talk or gossip with others. If we do, we run the risk of losing ourselves to its negative power. Jealousy has something good to offer us, though, and that is information about our own heart’s desire. When we are jealous of certain people, we want what they have, and if we are to be conscious, we must acknowledge that. In this way, we discover what we want for ourselves, which is the first step to getting it. It may be a certain kind of relationship or a career. Whatever it is, it is possible that we could create it for ourselves, in our own lives, if we are able to honor our own desires.

Of course, there are times when we cannot heal our jealousy in this way, and then the lesson may be about acceptance and the understanding that our path is different from the paths of those around us. It may be hard to see now, but perhaps it will eventually be clear why our life has taken its particular path. In the end, the best cure for jealousy is the recognition that the life we have is full of its own meaning and beauty, utterly unique to us—a gift that could never be found in the life of another.

What are we looking at here in this adjusted image from Google Mars ???

UFO filmed ejecting something from underneath it

A UFO video on YouTube is remarkable because the unidentified flying object, caught on a night vision skycam, seems to drop a ball of light to the ground. What is it?  The video is labeled in Chinese and details are light on the channel. It's not clear where this was filmed, but the sky is alive with moving objects, so it's probably not a remote area. One of the flashing orbs picked up by the night vision infrared video camera can't be distinguished at the distance it's flying, but the regular, flashing light means it's more than likely an airplane, helicopter or jet. It's what happens next which is hard to explain. As the UFO passes by, a flash of light drops away from its body. If it is a conventional aircraft, what happened to it? It's a very strange sight and a lucky catch. Hopefully, someone can come forward to identify where this occurred and, possibly, explain what is happening here. It's a genuine mystery. (SOTT)

When a Bad Apple Spoils the Bunch

Because life requires that we interact with different personalities, it is not uncommon for us to encounter a situation where there is one person whose behavior may negatively impact the experiences of others. Someone who is loud and crass can interrupt the serenity of those who come together to practice peace. A disruptive worker can cause rules to be imposed that affect their colleagues’ professional lives. A team member who is pessimistic or highly critical may destroy the morale of their fellow members. And one “bad apple” in your personal life can be a potent distraction that makes it difficult to focus on the blessings you’ve been given and the people who love you.

There may always be people in your life who take it upon themselves to create disruption, foster chaos, stamp out hope, and act as if they are above reproach – even when, in doing so, they put a blight on their own experiences. But you don’t need to allow their negativity and callousness to sour your good mood. Often, our first impulse upon coming head-to-head with a bad apple is to express our anger and frustration in no uncertain terms. However, bad apples only have the power to turn our lives sour if we let them.

If you can exercise patience and choose not to respond to their words or actions, you will significantly limit the effect they are able to have on you and your environment. You can also attempt to encourage a bad apple to change their behavior by letting your good behavior stand as an example. If your bad apple is simply hoping to attract notice, they may come to realize that receiving positive attention is much more satisfying than making a negative impression. While you may be tempted to simply disassociate yourself entirely from a bad apple, consider why they might be inclined to cause disturbances. Understanding their motivation can help you see that bad apples are not necessarily bad people. Though bad apples are a fact of life, minimizing the impact you allow them to have upon you is empowering because you are not letting anyone else affect the quality of your experiences. You may discover that buried at the very heart of a bad apple is a seed of goodness.

Chemtrails, Disinformation and the Sixth Extinction

Next to people HAARPing on about scalar weapons and UFOs, so-called 'chemtrails' are probably one of the most talked about topics in the alt.net community. The proliferation of pseudo-scientific nonsense has exploded online to the point that every time an unusual weather event or natural disaster occurs, you just know it won't be long before chemtrails or HAARP or both will be brought up. "Occult" just means "hidden" and so in itself, it is a neutral word. It is neither good nor evil. The outcome of any occult act lies in the intention of the performer of it. TSA harassment sends rape victim to emergency room

What would have likely been a routine flight out of a Florida airport this weekend ended with a woman being sent to the emergency room after TSA agents insisted on groping a traumatized rape victim in a security pat-down that put her in the hospital. A user of the online Web forum FlyerTalk.com writes that his wife was admitted to the ER for treatment after agents with the Transportation Security Administration cited an “anomaly” in her bra as a reason to subject her to an intrusive closed-door screening on Sunday at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. The woman, described by her husband as the victim of brutal rape, was reportedly being transferred to a psychiatric ward for further treatment after what the man says was a “horrific experience.” “Five years ago, she was violently sexually assaulted by three men and was threatened with death,” her husband writes. “She made it, and tried to bury it for three years. After nightmares, flashbacks and cutting she told me everything two years ago, and since then has been seeing professional counseling and taking medication.” The husband adds that the rape occurred in Florida and although the couple no longer lives there, his wife is always on edge when they pass through the Sunshine State. This weekend’s incident didn’t make matters any better.

“My wife was sent towards the backscatter, and told the TSO [Transportation Security Officer] she didn’t want to go through that,” her husband writes, referring to the high-tech x-ray machines that let agents get an undercover look at what’s on a passengers person. “I then overheard the TSO graphically describing that ‘they will need to touch your privates,’” the author writes.

“That just about did it for my wife,” he adds, explaining that the TSO’s order quickly sent his wife into a fit of shakes and sweats as she was forced to let TSA agents have an x-rated look at her exposed body. Her problems didn’t end there, though...read more>>>...

Two previously unknown sets of heavily worn down pyramids discovered in Egypt by Google Earth

An American scientist has discovered two new possible pyramid sites in Egypt, after spending 10 years studying Google Earth. Archeology researcher Angela Micol has pinpointed two areas along the Nile basin, 90 miles apart, both containing unusual shaped mounds. One site includes a 620ft-wide triangular plateau that's almost three times the size of the Great Pyramid at Giza. Beauty calms us with floral scents and excites our aural lust through the passionate sounds made by an orchestra.

Beauty can be cruel, and our pursuit of her can be in vain. We may go to the opera in anticipation of finding beauty there, and she may bore and disappoint us. Instead, beauty lavishes her attention on another suitor who may be more appreciative of her charms. Or, we may try to capture beauty’s essence in a photograph, painting, or sculpture, and still she is nowhere to be found. Beauty will forever inspire works of art, and she will always pose for her portrait, selecting the artist who is most worthy of her catching her likeness.

Depending on our personal tastes, beauty can be found in every color, flavor, scent, and texture. She lives among the poor, as well as the rich, and appears in the faces of the young and the old. She is at home in the city, as well as the country, decorating skylines as well as landscapes. She is the ultimate shape shifter. Beauty is a weather beaten barn beloved by one person and an awesome testament of naval craftsmanship revered by another. Beauty knows no bounds, and we can find her everywhere. All we have to do is look for beauty, and she is there.
