But do we need to destroy the ego? What is the ego, really? And furthermore, what can you learn about your own ego?

The ego is basically your identity, or who you think you are.

In other words, your ego is usually constructed of a name, a personality, and a story. Within this personal story is a collection of memories, beliefs, ideas, and sensations about “who you are,” “where you came from,” “what you’re good and bad at,” “what you’ve experienced,” and on, and on, and on, ad infinitum.

U.K. to classify ONLINE MISOGYNY as a national security threat

The United Kingdom is set to classify online misogyny – offensive comments against women on the internet – as a national security threat on par with terrorism.

Reclaim The Net noted that in the digital era, "it will no longer be enough to treat violence against women as 'simply' a criminal offense" in the United Kingdom. "This is likely to be elevated to the level of terrorism, and a threat to national security," the outlet added.

A review of the U.K.'s counter-extremism strategy commissioned by British Home Secretary Yvette Cooper used the terms "extreme misogyny" and "violence against women" interchangeably. According to the Telegraph, the British Home Office (BHO) ranks several categories of extremism as areas of concern. These include Islamism, far-right ideology, animal rights, the environment, and those related to Northern Ireland.

Aside from these, the BHO also keeps tabs on the "incel" (involuntary celibate) ideology. But the Telegraph noted that "officials now fear that this category does not capture other forms of extreme misogyny."

Specifically, the review concerns "radicalized teenage boys" who are allegedly falling prey to so-called "misogynistic influencers." Cooper defended the initiative, saying the review was long needed amid existing guidance from the BHO being too narrow. She blamed the internet for this online radicalization supposedly happening to young people.

If the computer program had all the existing aspects of the game readily rendered for viewing, this would be too much computational energy to handle. New research has identified the serious risks posed to property values by Ed Miliband’s proposal for the widespread installation of energy infrastructure across the U.K. The Telegraph has the details:

Power lines and pylons can reduce the value of nearby homes by an average of £12,000, according to research from the London School of Economics (LSE). …

As well as accounting for traditional electricity infrastructure, the LSE study suggests a similar financial impact from homes located near wind turbines and solar farms.

Based on an average loss of value of 3.9%, a £1 million home would be worth around £40,000 less if power lines were built nearby.

When applied to the average U.K. house price of £300,000, the same calculation leads to a £12,000 drop in value.

However, for others the loss would be far greater – as the 3.9% average only applies to homes located within 1,500 metres of pylons or power lines.

That could rise to a 21% reduction if a property is within 250 metres, implying a £63,000 drop in value for an average £300,000 home.

The results of the LSE analysis will raise concerns for Ed Miliband as the Energy Secretary prepares to install a raft of new pylons across the U.K. alongside 1,000 miles of onshore cable.

 Facebook make only about £34 a year from the average customer in the UK – a little under £3 a month (and that’s before costs), so clearly there is no head-room or motivation, for a human level of customer service or attention. The user is not the customer; rather, they are the product whose data is sold to advertisers.

Thus, users do not have a direct customer relationship with the platform. The network is not directly incentivised to “care” about the user before the advertiser. And no matter where you lie on the spectrum between “free speech absolutism” and “private entities have the right to censor any user”, with such low margins it is inevitable machine processing will have to be used to moderate posts and deal with the customer interface.

But it is a fact the customer processing and management capabilities Social Networks are now evolving is being utilised in a variety of ways beyond just moderation. And it is also true this automated processing is being done at scale and is now applied to every post every member makes. 68% of US voters are on Facebook. In the UK it’s 66% and France 73.2%. The figures are similar for every democratic nation in the West. So it is vitally important the applied rules should be politically neutral.


The power that exists within the ability to machine-process every users posts is far deeper and more profound than perhaps many realise. And while it can’t directly dictate what users write in their messages it has the capacity to fundamentally shape which messages gain traction.

Social Media services have become de-facto town squares and most would agree their corporate owners should avoid ever putting a hand on the scales and influencing politics.

Additionally as everyone who uses Facebook is aware, especially when it comes to politically sensitive topics, the system will qualify an individual’s reach; sometimes to an extreme degree. Or that user will simply be banned for a period of time, or banned from the network entirely.

So we can ask the question, since the social media corporations have so much censorship power, how do we know they aren’t engaging in unethical political interference? Can they be trusted with the responsibility?

I will return to this question, but it’s clear that trust in these corporations is deeply misplaced.

The pandemic woke many people up to the levels of control those in charge of our Social Media networks are imposing. At the end of January, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky signed a decree on "Russian Territories Historically Inhabited by Ukrainians," which includes measures aimed at "preserving the national identity of Ukrainians" in Russia.

"This is the restoration of the truth about the historical past for the sake of Ukraine's future," Zelensky said in a video address on his country's annual Day of Unity.

The published decree states that the Kiev government has been instructed to develop and submit an action plan to the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine concerning a number of historical Russian borderlands - namely, Kuban Region and Starodubshchyna, as well as northern and eastern Slobozhanshchyna, which correspond to Russia's present-day Krasnodar, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk, and Rostov regions.

The government will also have to "debunk Russian myths about Ukraine" and "develop interaction between Ukrainians and the peoples enslaved by Russia."

"For centuries, Russia has systematically committed and continues to commit acts aimed at destroying [Ukrainian] national identity, oppressing Ukrainians, violating their rights and freedoms, including on lands which they had historically inhabited," Zelensky said.

Clinging to the Core

 There are times when our whole world seems to be falling apart around us, and we are not sure what to hold on to anymore. Sometimes our relationships crumble, and sometimes it’s our physical environment. At other times, we can’t put our finger on it, but we feel as if all the walls have fallen down around us and we are standing with nothing to lean on, exposed and vulnerable. These are the times in our lives when we are given an opportunity to see where we have established our sense of identity, safety, and well-being. And while it is perfectly natural and part of our process to locate our sense of self in externals, anytime those external factors shift, we have an opportunity to rediscover and move closer to the core of our being, which is the only safe place to call home.

The core of our being is not affected by the shifting winds of circumstance or the cycles of change that govern physical reality. It is as steady and consistent as the sun, which is why the great mystics and poets often reference the sun in their odes to the self. Like the sun, there are times when our core seems to be inaccessible to us, but this is a misconception. We know that when the sun goes behind a cloud or sets for the night, it has not disappeared. It is only temporarily out of sight. In the same way, we can trust that our inner core is always shining brightly, even when we cannot quite see it.

When things around us are falling apart, we can cling to this core, knowing that an inextinguishable light shines from within ourselves. Times of external darkness can be a great gift in that they provide an opportunity to remember this inner light that shines regardless of the circumstances of our lives. When our external lives begin to come back together, we are able to lean a bit more lightly on them, understanding more clearly than ever that our true home is the bright sun shining in our core. WHO wants money to implement its regional plan for its PHEIC (“fake”) declaration for mpox

 The World Health Organisation’s recent declaration of a mpox (aka monkeypox) public health emergency of international concern (“PHEIC”) allows for the extension of recommendations from the previously declared mpox PHEIC in 2022 and the issuance of new ones, along with facilitating the granting of emergency use listings for monkeypox vaccines.

To implement its mpox response plan for the affected region in Africa, WHO is, initially, asking for donors and funders to provide it with US$15 million. This is in addition to direct aid from countries. For example, the US has committed hundreds of millions of dollars in aid, primarily for vaccines, to the DRC which is at the epicentre of the outbreak.

In accordance with Operation Early Dawn, as they are calling it, the government of the United Kingdom is releasing 5,500 prisoners early, supposedly to address prison overcrowding. Meanwhile, more than 1,000 British citizens and counting have been arrested in recent days for protesting unrestricted illegal immigration, and now need a place to be imprisoned.

Following last month's reported stabbing incident at a Taylor Swift-themed dance studio in Southport, England, thousands of Brits have stormed the streets all over the U.K. to call for an immediate end to illegal migration. U.K. police, working on behalf of the political establishment, have been rounding up these protesters for punishment, though with nowhere to toss them due to prison overcrowding.

To make way for the boxcars to bring in a fresh supply of prisoners, this time from the protest pools rather than from actual criminal syndicates, the British government enacted Operation Early Dawn to replace criminals with citizens at U.K. prisons. 

One of newly elected British Prime Minister Keir Starmer's first priorities was to enact Operation Early Dawn as a means to open up space at prisons, particularly in the regions of Cheshire, Cumbria, Lancashire, Manchester, Merseyside, the North East and Yorkshire.

Another component of Operation Early Dawn, spearheaded by Justice Secretary Shabana Mahmood, is to considerably reduce the mandatory prison time served before parole by upwards of 50 percent for some inmates, which would result in the near-immediate release of thousands of criminals in September and October of this year.

Revisiting the last time Tedros the Terrorist declared mpox an international health emergency

 In May 2022, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus declared monkeypox, now called mpox, a PHEIC despite the majority of the expert panel advising against it. This decision raised concerns about Tedros’s objectivity and possible external influences.

At the time there are also suspicions about Tedros’s motives, especially given the upcoming Pandemic Treaty vote. Some experts believed that the necessary tools are available to control monkeypox and that the mortality rate is low, questioning the need for a public health emergency of international concern (“PHEIC”).

Additionally, there are concerns about fearmongering and an orchestrated perception of a pandemic. Furthermore, a tabletop exercise in March 2021 involving global leaders and experts discussed combating a bioterror monkeypox threat scheduled to commence in May 2022, at the very time Tedros declared mpox to be a PHEIC.

Sitting With Feelings

 It can take great courage to really sit with our feelings, allowing ourselves to surrender to their powerful energies. All too often we set our feelings aside, thinking we will deal with them later. If we don’t, we will end up storing them in our minds and bodies, and this is when anxiety and other health issues can arise. Denying what our bodies want to feel can lead to trouble now or down the line, which is why being in the thick of our feelings, no matter how scary it seems, is really the best thing we can do for ourselves.

One of the reasons we tend to hide or push aside our feelings is that we live in a culture that has not traditionally supported emotional awareness. However, as the connection between the mind and body — our emotions and our physical health — becomes clearer, awareness of the importance of feeling our feelings has grown. There are many books, classes, workshops, and retreats that can help us on our way to emotional intelligence. We also can trust in our own ability to process what comes up when it comes up. If sadness arises, we can notice its presence and welcome it, noting where in our bodies we feel it, and allowing ourselves to express it through tears or a quiet turning inward.

When we simply allow ourselves to fully embrace our feelings as they come, we tend to let them go easily. This is all we are required to do. Our feelings simply want to be felt. We often complicate the situation by applying mental energy in the form of analysis, when all we really need is to allow — just like the Earth allows the rain to fall upon it. As the rain falls, the Earth responds in a multitude of ways, sometimes emptying out to form a great canyon, sometimes soaking it up to nourish a forest of trees or a valley of flowers. In the same way, the deeper purpose of our feelings is to transform the terrain of our inner world, sometimes creating space for more feelings to flow, sometimes providing sustenance for growth.  You would think that someone in the medical establishment or the media would notice and ask questions about the epidemic of cancers in younger people. But everyone is too scared to point out that the obvious explanation for the cancer epidemic is the epidemic of vaccination.

Doctors all over the world are confused by the fact that cancer rates among millennials and Gen Xers have risen sharply.

Seventeen types of cancer are much commoner among today’s young people than they used to be.

Individuals born in 1990 face risks of getting cancer that are two or three times the risks faced by those born in 1955.

The rise is definitely not due to better screening. People are dying early in huge numbers. Cancers which didn’t affect previous generations are affecting the young.

The cancers which are commoner are cancers of the breast, pancreas, ovary, liver, and kidney. Gastric and colorectal cancers are also commoner among the young.

Why?

Doctors are struggling to find an explanation.

It has been argued that it is because young people are more obese. Or because of their poor diet. Or because of antibiotic or drug use.

As far as I am aware, not one doctor in the medical establishment has ever considered that vaccination programmes could be causing the cancers.

And yet the mass, repeated, multiple vaccination of children has never been tested for safety. Children are given dozens of vaccinations. And no one has ever checked to see if it is safe to do this.

Moreover, no one is allowed to criticise vaccination. The BBC, for example, has a blanket ban on those who question the safety or efficacy of vaccinations. Politicians who know nothing of vaccines want to classify vaccine critics as terrorists.

Children and young people have more vaccinations than ever.

You’d think that if vaccines worked people would be healthier.

But they aren’t healthier: they are much, much sicker.

It was fun while it lasted. We actually had quite a few months without an official “global health emergency” to be concerned about, but now that streak is over. On Wednesday, the World Health Organization announced that Monkeypox has officially been classified as a “public health emergency of international concern”. Health officials have lost control of the new mutant strain that is spreading in Africa, and so that is why this move was made. Compared to the strain that caused so much chaos in 2022, this new strain has a much higher death rate and we are being told that in many cases it is spreading without any sexual contact at all. If this thing gets loose in the United States and Europe, the level of fear that we will witness will be off the charts.

For now, the only confirmed cases of this new mutant strain of Monkeypox are all in central Africa.

But it is probably only a matter of time before it spreads to more areas.

The head of the committee that determined that a “public health emergency of international concern” was warranted says that this new strain is an emergency “for the entire globe”…

Committee Chair Professor Dimie Ogoina said, “The current upsurge of mpox in parts of Africa, along with the spread of a new sexually transmissible strain of the monkeypox virus, is an emergency, not only for Africa, but for the entire globe. Mpox, originating in Africa, was neglected there, and later caused a global outbreak in 2022. It is time to act decisively to prevent history from repeating itself.”

 Our view of the universe is largely determined by our experiences. It is when we are caught off guard by the spontaneity of existence that we are most likely to respond authentically. Events that arouse strong emotions in us or are surprising in nature can be disquieting, for it is often in their aftermath that we discover how profoundly our histories have shaped us. When our reactions differ from our peers, it can be upsetting because they force us to confront the uniqueness of our lives.

When this happens, we may feel driven to dismiss our feelings as irrational or incorrect. But reactions themselves are neither right nor wrong. The forces that sculpted our development are not the same forces that shaped the development of our relatives, friends, colleagues, or neighbors. There is no reason to believe that one person's reaction to a particular event is somehow more valid than another's. How we respond to the constant changes taking place in the world around us is a product of our history, a testament to our individuality, and a part of the healing process that allows us to address our past in a context we can grasp in the present.

Life's pivotal events can provide you with a way to define yourself as a unique and matchless being, but you must put aside the judgments that might otherwise prevent you from gaining insight into your distinct way of interpreting the world. Try to recognize your feelings without categorizing or evaluating them. When you feel unsure of the legitimacy of your reactions, remember that cultural, sociological, spiritual, and familial differences can cause two people to interpret a single event in widely dissimilar ways.
