An image 'derived' from Google Mars material that perhaps illustrates the points raised in recent Anamoly Gallery posts. There are the 'classic signs' (?) of image tampering ... the stencil patterning at the bottom right of the image; and, the white areas which suggest areas of 'significance' have been removed from the image prior to Google Mars display. There is also a clear split in image quality - from relatively good close up detail at the bottom of the 'crater' ... to the blurred/indistinct detailing in the remainder of the image. There is then the 'anomaly' aspect of the image ... which again suggests 'technology' and 'intelligent life'.
