The video, titled "Recent UFO footage over Las Vegas Blvd," was recorded March 21 by a visitor from Ohio and posted to the video-sharing site YouTube three days later. It has since been viewed more than 44,000 times and spread to other social networking sites such as Facebook.
In it, several bright spots of light can be seen rotating in a fixed pattern high above the Strip near the Luxor's famous beam of light.
Comments on YouTube speculate that the unidentified lights may be birds or bats passing through the Luxor's beam.
