'What's The Score'? - Seasiders Vs Everton

Well ... the pressure is on for The Seasiders. A dismal performance in their last game failed to stop the rot. Next stop, Goodison Park and Everton. At home Blackpool threw away the lead twice due to complacency and inexperience. How they now must wish those points lost were now in the bag! Anyway ... is this the game to stop the rot, and finally break the 30 point barrier?

Initially, the spread indicates the same missed chances for Everton that Stoke & Sunderland experienced when The Seasiders successfully took all three points away from home. But is it a game of two halves for the home side here? Contrasting performances on both sides of half time? The 2nd card for Everton is the same one that appeared when Fulham visited The Seasiders, took the lead ... and then watched as The Seasiders turned it around to lead 2 v 1 ... only to let Fulham in at the end. Is this the portend here? The final image for Everton calls for discipline and integrity. Why?

The first image for The Seasiders is 'growing hope' ... growing in confidence and being inspired by one of their own. Who plays the blinder in the game then? Charlie Adam? Or one of the new recruits? Clearly someone appears too. It appears also the careful planning begins to pay off ... is it going to be the wheel back on track out of the rut? Experienced hands could pull it The Seasiders way. But they need to concentrate and not let in the late goals or the stupid goals due to lapses in defending prowess.

Likely result, without wishful thinking? Point or points in the bag for The Seasiders after an early disaster? Or a disaster in the first half? If they can keep their wits about them later in the game ... they could possibly do a 'Bolton' without the late killer equaliser or a 'Liverpool at Anfield ' where they somehow held on until the end despite unbelievable pressure.

Comment 6th February 2011 ... there is no indication within the spread of the extraordinary goal feast which occurred. What was right however, Blackpool turned a 2 v 1 into a 3 v 2 lead ... with two goals in two minutes. They did the same against Fulham when they were losing 1 v 0. However, Everton then went on to grab three late goals to win 5 v 3!! Again, the prediction warned 'But they need to concentrate and not let in the late goals or the stupid goals due to lapses in defending prowess.' Sadly it wasn't heeded ...! Note The Star image ... it tells the score!!! EIGHT stars in a 5 v 3 pattern!!!
