He remembers there were many others who could do the same. They were not gifted with special powers at all. It was merely the interconnection of the worlds at that time. And with human eyes now, he views the theoretical model of the Tree Of Life ... and sees that once, perhaps, that the concept could have been the same here on this realm. But, it seems the doorways between the worlds are lost ... or closed ... or hidden. Those pathways wandered in meditation only. Perhaps somewhere, he muses, those doors stand unlocked, ready for discovery. Or, perhaps they are swung open wide in silence. So only the lucky few walk those avenues.
He summons a sigh. He closes his eyes ... in readiness to drift. To recall more of the time he was a traveller between worlds. He sighs once more ... and wishes now was as then. So he could travel those wondrous pathways again. Forgotten melodies pull so hard on the human heart. Many feel similar pulls, and recall similar dreams ... and put them down merely to a vivid imagination. But for him ... there is taste, and touch, and smell ... to add to the surfacing visions. Surely, imagination cannot create such 'concrete' things.
But now, he must draw this recollection to a close. He muses then ... what will others make of this written word ... a story, a fable ... cold stark truth ... he worries not what others might say, for after all it is only he who knows the answer ... "
