In most aspects, this is best depicted, as the blending of opposites. An indication that some kind of harmonising or healing energy/force is at work in the deep subconscious. Events and situations are changing ... merging, blending, changing. Nothing is the same anymore. For the client it indicates a period of stress, trauma which had been experienced in recent times. The image shows there are signs of recovery ... they may not be apparent to the client at the time. It is therefore necessary to look ahead into the other aspects/cards to find when recovery will be seen/received.
On a metaphysical level it can be indicative of a archetypal healing force being directed to the client. The subconscious has been providing the conscious mind with experiences that point out the opposing forces in a situation ... contrasting emotions ... and the conscious mind has been able to understand, in principle the reason for the constrasting and conflicting events in the material life. The card will therefore epitomise a time fast approaching where the situation will become more manageable.
