Like many folk here in Oz, we are experiencing 'issues' with Big Pond internet provider. We have a 12 month half price discount contract with them. Written in black and white ... yet they refuse to honour this contract, choosing instead to overcharge us and try to bully us into paying these overcharges. We have been disconnected again from their internet supply (I am using a pay as you go stick currently with another supplier) ... and we have passed our dispute on to an Ombudsmen who will eventually resolve this issue ...
But, it will be a real battle of attrition as we've heard on the grapevine that Big Pong are bullies who rely on folk paying these overcharges in the end. We're fuming as we are being clearly ripped off ... a Telstra employee has viewed our contract and says that Big Pong should honour the contract.
