The Lovers
the 8 of Weapons represents a card of restrictions in the current situation; more often and not the restrictions being imposed by those jealous of what has been accomplished. A feeling of being isolated because of one's skills or belief. A feeling here of being set apart and not being permitted to get on with things. The 'flaming sword' can clearly be seen there in open view ... linked to the shining star which hangs over the situation ... clearly watched by the Emperor who can be seen seated to the right of the 8 of swords.
The Emperor can be intuited as the one who is control of the enigma behind the scenes, the golden talisman borne in his right hand symbolic of the visible show of his 'control' in recent times. Note the symbol of Ariesthe Ram on the cornerstone on which he is seated; this bears significance with regard to current locality and identity.
The Emperor bears the armour of Alexander, the great conqueror. He is one of the triad who have assumed the rulership and the management of this 'campaign'. One of the other two of this triad is the High Priestess (but who is she ?) ... the volcanic background depicts the volatile nature of this situation.
Then the Wheel of Fortune suggests that all of the events are in accordance with a well planned timetable. All has been devised by the 'Chaioth Ha Kadesh' or 'The Great Ones' ... depicted by the Lion, the Bull, the Man and The Eagle ... it has been created to suit the agenda of those four 'elements' ... because so much more is 'riding' on this ... that is the current reality.
Finally, the Lovers ... depicts harmony and partnerships ... it links the forces of the elements and makes it all a well oiled machine. It implicates many things on many levels. It confirms that all is not what it seems at this time ... beware of smokescreens and deceptions because there is a different reality behind the scenes. The male and the female in the imagery of the Lovers ... those who are the central players in this situation ... are clearly figureheads for a much 'higher' purpose ...
Relevant too perhaps is the clear number sequence ... 8,4,10,6
