Pawns in a Very Big Situation?

Pressure, tension exist within the recent photograph (Shown right). It was felt immediately. Gerry appears to be holding his line well. Coping somehow. His facial expressions are seen to be similar, or the same, as photographs since 2007. His eyes hold the flames of anger. His psyche, a wall of defiance ... a resolute line of defence which only the welcomed few can get through. He is determined. There is however pangs of anger in the photo. His features are expressionless ... and his focus appears not to be just on the camera; his stare seems to be directed at one person in particular. Kate, on the other hand ... her features have changed. Attention is drawn to her left side. A tension about her eyes. Pressure is on her shoulders right now. An almost empty expression in her eyes. She's there in the photograph but her mind appears elsewhere. There is tremendous emotion around her. An emotionally charged atmosphere had been around her previously to the photoshoot? Tremendous sensitivity with Kate. Her eyes are focussed on the camera, almost as if she was asked to look directly into the lens. But her mental focus is elsewhere. An image of a train ... or a scene where she went to as a child? Her mind appearing to take her awareness to safe place where nothing can touch her? A sense of contemplative technique ... almost as if the photoshoot was an ordeal she couldn't cope with. Memories of childhood maybe being used to get her through a tough patch. There is a naive, childlike quality to Kate in this photograph. A strange feeling that Gerry is a 'father figure' to Kate at times ... he's much more orderly minded with the situation. Organiser minded and too busy with procedure and schedules to stop and think about matters. Kate never seems to stop thinking. Her mind always on the go. Clearly, there is a strong sense, still, that Gerry & Kate are pawns in a very big situation. Front people for something which others are pushing into the world of agenda and legislation. Something they can do which others cannot do. As a foot note ... there is still the insight from 'the two old dears' that Madeleine is alive and well. The fruits of their labout will be her release. Uncaring faces are behind her extended capture. Uncaring faces with no conscience who have an agenda ... and need it realised. What these uncaring faces say goes ...
