 British politician David Kurten, leader of the Heritage Party, joined Daniel Forsius from the Swedish independent media outlet News Voice to discuss the escalating crisis in the UK.

From people being jailed for protests against migration crimes and social media posts, to the King’s Speech pushing digital ID, and the growing resistance with massive protests – Britain is being used as a test project for global control.

“There’s a lot of agitation in the UK at the moment among the people because they realise the Government is acting against the people, they’re not for the people,” Kurten said.

It’s not only in the UK. “I think all of the governments are working in lockstep together because [they all have an allegiance] to the World Economic Forum and the powers that be and the global cabal,” he said. “And at one point or another, some nations are pushing forward the agenda faster in some areas than others, and other times its other nations that are pushing forward.”

“But, I think at the moment, the UK is being used to push forward with the digital ID … but they’re also doing the same thing in Australia, New Zealand and Canada as well, it seems the English-speaking countries are being used at this very moment in time to push forward that part of the agenda.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin has finally said out loud what the Kremlin has been doing for months. Mobile internet can be switched off across Russian cities whenever security services want it switched off, and ordinary people will be told about it afterwards, if at all.

The UK Biobank, a medical research project, experienced a data breach where the genetic sequences, medical scans and lifestyle records of 500,000 volunteers were listed for sale on Alibaba.

The breach was caused by three Chinese academic institutions that downloaded the dataset from the UK Biobank’s research platform, which was supposed to have strict access controls, and then uploaded it to Alibaba.

According to Professor Luc Rocher, this is the 198th known exposure of UK Biobank data since last summer, and the data remains available online for anyone to download.

France’s national ID card portal, operated by France Titres, was hacked, resulting in the potential sale of 18-19 million records, representing roughly a third of France’s population. The portal is also used by French residents to apply for passports, residence permits, driver’s licenses and vehicle registrations.

Login credentials, full names, email addresses, dates of birth, unique account identifiers, postal addresses, places of birth, and phone numbers may all have been extracted. Digital IDs are a linchpin for totalitarian control

 For those who still have not understood that digital IDs are a cornerstone for global totalitarian control, here are some remarks from the horse’s mouth.

Queen Maxima of the Netherlands tells the World Economic Forum (“WEF”) in Davos that digital ID is good for knowing “who actually got a vaccination or not” and for financial inclusion.

On Thursday [15 January 2026], the Dutch queen continued her crusade to see universal adoption of digital ID because she believes it is good for everything from opening a bank account to enrolling in school and for providing proof of vaccination, aka “vaccine passports.”

Speaking at the WEF annual meeting panel entitled ‘Comparing Notes on Financial Inclusion’, Her Majesty said:

“In order to open up an account, you need to have an ID. I have to say that when I started this job, there were actually very little countries in Africa or Latin America that had one ubiquitous type of ID, and certainly that was digital and certainly that was biometric.

Thousands say no to digital ID cards as they march through London as politicians criticise plans

 Thousands of protesters have marched through central London to oppose the Government’s planned rollout of digital ID cards.

Under tight police conditions, demonstrators chanted and waved banners as they walked from Marble Arch to Whitehall this afternoon in protest at the scheme.

Sir Keir Starmer announced in September that a mandatory digital ID system would be introduced by 2029 for anyone wishing to work in the UK, as part of efforts to curb illegal migration.

Former Conservative MP Andrew Bridgen, who was expelled from the party in 2023 for comparing Covid vaccines to the Holocaust, led the march alongside protesters carrying an effigy of the Prime Minister.

An advert for the protest by organiser Mass Non-Compliance warned: ‘If you accept digital ID now, it may be the last real choice you ever make.’

The Metropolitan Police instructed demonstrators not to stray from the agreed route and to remain on the left-hand side of the road throughout.

The Government’s digital ID plans have drawn criticism across the political spectrum.

Conservative former minister Sir David Davis, who opposed ID cards under Tony Blair, said: ‘While digital IDs and ID cards sound like modern and efficient solutions to problems like illegal immigration, such claims are misleading at best. The systems involved are profoundly dangerous to the privacy and fundamental freedoms of the British people.’

Tory leader Kemi Badenoch branded the proposal a ‘gimmick that will do nothing to stop the boats’, while Reform UK leader Nigel Farage said he was ‘firmly opposed’.

The Liberal Democrats said they would not back any system that forces people to ‘turn over their private data just to go about their daily lives.’

Public opposition has also surged online, with almost three million people signing a petition titled ‘Do not introduce Digital ID cards’ since June.

Launched by campaigner Maxim Sutcliff, it states: ‘We think this would be a step towards mass surveillance and digital control, and that no one should be forced to register with a state-controlled ID system.’

UK Digital ID: The BritCard Bait and Switch

 In my previous article I suggested that the UK’s proposed “mandatory” digital ID, called the BritCard, was a bait and switch psyop. 

I posited that the arguments presented by Keir Starmer’s purported Labour government, to supposedly justify the BritCard rollout, coupled with the timing of the announcement, the apparent inability to understand public opinion, and the lack of necessity for the BritCard, indicated that there was something amiss with the so-called government’s BritCard proposition.

It seems to me that the purpose of the BritCard gambit is to frame the Overton Window for the public debate about digital ID in the UK. People can accept or reject it, imagining the BritCard represents the totality of digital ID infrastructure. If the population rejects the BritCard they may well do so under the misapprehension they have defeated digital ID in the UK.

Subsequent developments have strengthened my view.

Digital ID is a global policy initiative that governments around the world, including the British government, are following, not leading. It is the United Nation’s (UN’s) Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 16.9 which promises to “by 2030, provide legal identity for all, including birth registration.”

Facial recognition will be used to unlock your digital identity; what has this got to do with climate change?

 A recent announcement of a “mandatory” digital ID is not unique to the UK. New digital ID laws have been implemented across the world in recent months, suggesting a broader effort to establish a global system of control.

For years, Aman Jabbi, a Silicon Valley technology veteran, has been warning about the creation of a “digital prison” through the integration of advanced surveillance technologies – including facial recognition, artificial intelligence and a network of surveillance devices – which will enable continuous monitoring and individual identification.

The long-term plan is that “facial recognition will be used to unlock your digital identity,” he said.

In 2025, the British state announced it was about to impose a “mandatory” digital ID on the population, without which they would not be able to work.

The arrogant duplicity behind the roll-out has been jaw-dropping.

The name “Britcard,” for instance, is meant to resonate with feelings of national pride and suggest that it is all about proving how British you are in the face of all those illegal immigrants that somehow keep sneaking into the country.

But the authorities are laughing in the faces of what they consider to be a hopelessly gullible public – the “Brit” in fact stands for “Biometric Registration Identification Tracking”.

Global digital ID has been tested and will be showcased to policymakers next week

 AlongID is a cross-border digital identity platform developed by international software company Deverium. The platform is currently in its early validation phase and will be showcased next week at GITEX Global, the world’s largest technology and AI exhibition, targeting policymakers and investors.

Deverium (stylised as “deverium”) is a global software development company founded in 2019 by Erika Maslauskaite, Edvardas Maslauskas and Darius Liubinas. It is a privately held company registered in Lithuania with offices in Lithuania, the United Kingdom and Sweden.

The company is known for its work in digital transformation, with flagship projects including a cross-border digital identity platform called “alongID,” which was launched in February.

“We are reimagining digital identity – because it’s no longer enough to rely solely on biometrics, KYC [know your customer], or AML [anti-money laundering] checks,” Edvardas Maslauskas, co-founder and CTO of Deverium, said.

Since its debut, alongID has secured €2 million in European Union funding and launched pilots with several institutions, including a UK healthcare institution, a European neobank, a central bank and Lithuania’s Centre of Registers.
