The superflu that never was
In a tweet posted on Christmas Eve, Dr. Craig said “SuperFlu was all branding and no substance.” In the following article, she explained why.
Once again, as Christmas approaches, we are told the NHS is on the brink. Headlines warn of a “superflu” season threatening to overwhelm hospitals, with language that feels uncomfortably familiar. The sense of déjà vu is striking. In 2020, the public was told that extraordinary interventions were justified because the situation was exceptional. There is nothing exceptional about the current circumstances, yet across Europe, the same crisis framing has returned.
Despite the absence of evidence for anything exceptional, there is a strong sense of Déjà vu. In the UK, schools have begun closing pre-emptively, particularly in Wales – some describing this as a “firebreak” as if transmission can be controlled by wiping surfaces. In Leeds, with Christmas on the horizon, children have been banned from singing in assembly. Vaccination messaging has intensified, too. Flu vaccines are being pushed beyond traditional risk groups, including toddlers, once again framed as a moral duty, to “protect granny.”...<<<Read More>>>...

The ‘Superflu’ Story Shows the Mainstream Media Are Utterly Untrustworthy
Large stocks of vaccines and antivirals were purchased and renewed and are awaiting use. The avian influenza terror did not fly (no pun intended, as this is a serious post).
As early as November 6th, the recently appointed Sir Jim Mackey, head of NHS England, warned the UK was facing a long, tough flu season. Delivered through the BBC, of course.
Then we had the ‘carnage’ and ‘superflu’ with an ambulance and bed crisis, which did not fit with the Government’s own data.
Throughout, the British Bias Corporation was busy spreading misleading news.
It’s not that other MSM outlets covered themselves in glory, all repeating variations of the same story.
Still, the difference is that the BBC is publicly funded and should be looking after the public interest instead of repeating the usual tripe, interviewing cats and asking them if they would look after the creamy cheese. Over in Canada, CBC (or “Pravda” as one commentator called it) was at it too.
But all is not lost, using the retrospectoscope, the most powerful instrument known to mankind, the BBC is beginning to have doubts, although it is still talking to the cats....<<<Read More>>>...

“Superflu,” tap water and the NHS
He criticises the global warming movement, suggesting that their proposal to drink tap water instead of bottled water is part of a depopulation plan, as tap water contains residues of prescription drugs. And he argues that the UK’s State-controlled healthcare system is possibly the worst in the Western world.
It is alleged that children are suffering most from this winter’s flu, which is, it is alleged, at large in the UK today. It is probably illegal even to ask if this could possibly be because their immune systems have been wrecked by an endless barrage of useless and toxic vaccinations (including the toxic and useless covid vaccine). Incidentally, the flu vaccine given to children in the UK is a “live” vaccine. Children who have the vaccine may, therefore, pass the flu onto their relatives. This will undoubtedly be a great help to the conspirators who are so desperate to kill off the elderly this winter. Incidentally, psychopathic doctors who are still injecting patients with the covid vaccine should be aware that they are obliged to tell their patients about any possible side effects and to obtain patients’ informed consent. Those doctors who do not do this should lose their licences if patients report them for not doing so. And they should be locked up for at least a decade, too.
Global warming fruitcakes are suggesting that we should all drink tap water rather than bottled water. This can only be part of the depopulation plan so loved by the conspirators. Tap water contains the residues of the prescription drugs taken, excreted and dumped into the rivers from which the tap water is often taken. Water companies are unable to remove prescription drug residues from drinking water. The presence of female hormones in the drinking water explains why fertility rates have collapsed and why young British males look and behave like teenage girls....<<<Read More>>>...
BREAKING: ‘Superflu’ Wave Goes into Decline Early
This is earlier than in many previous years, where the peak and drop-off coincided with Christmas.
While there may yet be a further uptick in cases, it means the worries of a runaway epidemic accelerating out of control and bringing health services to their knees (a supposedly “worst case scenario“) have turned out to be misplaced – to the surprise of no Daily Sceptic readers or anyone who follows the data and not just the hysterical media froth.
Here are the charts from the UKHSA surveillance reports (remember those?) that show the drop-off, with a corresponding sharp slowdown in hospital admissions....<<<Read More>>>...

The evidence is clear: Masks don't do anything
We went over this (a lot) in 2020. Then we went over it again in 2023. Masks don't work, they never worked, and - prior to 2020 - the academic literature was very clear on this.
In a 2016 literature review, infection control expert Dr John Hardie found [emphasis added]:
Between 2004 and 2016 at least a dozen research or review articles have been published on the inadequacies of face masks. All agree that the poor facial fit and limited filtration characteristics of face masks make them unable to prevent the wearer inhaling airborne particles. In their well-referenced 2011 article on respiratory protection for healthcare workers, Drs. Harriman and Brosseau conclude that, "facemasks will not protect against the inhalation of aerosols."
Health care workers have long relied heavily on surgical masks to provide protection against influenza and other infections. Yet there are no convincing scientific data that support the effectiveness of masks for respiratory protection.
It should be concluded from these and similar studies that the filter material of face masks does not retain or filter out viruses...<<<Read More>>>...

Brace Yourselves Once Again for the Mask Madness
Many will recall the little girl from the 1982 Poltergeist film, standing in front of the TV set, announcing the return of the malevolent spirits. These iconic words seem an appropriate way to announce the reappearance of the pro-mask ghouls who, over recent days, have been beseeching us all to wear a face covering to protect ourselves (and, of course, the NHS) from the consequences of the scary-sounding ‘super flu’.
It is the usual suspects who are screaming again. A senior NHS mandarin, Daniel Elkeles, has said that the UK faces “a tidal wave” of illness and that people should “get back into the habit” of mask-wearing. Pandemic industry technocrats at the UK Health Security Agency have repeated their highly dubious claims that strapping pieces of porous plastic across our airways can protect ourselves and others from those pesky microscopic pathogens. Most predictably of all, Professor Trish Greenhalgh has popped her pantyhose-clad head above her ideological trench to broadcast the benefits of multi-layered face coverings. And of course, the BBC has been keen to amplify this nonsense in its reporting of specific hospitals that are recommending masks for their staff and service users.
It hardly warrants repeating that the more robust scientific studies, together with the bulk of the real-world evidence, show that masks constitute an ineffectual viral barrier, and no amount of evidential cherry-picking and fantastical claims about ‘source control’ will change that conclusion. And how do the muzzle mafia manage to avoid any consideration of the multiplicity of significant harms associated with ubiquitous masking? Maybe their mono-focused minds don’t care about the collateral damage of their crusade....<<<Read More>>>...

The Screaming ‘Super Flu’ Headlines vs The Data
Putting aside the media drivel, what do the data say?
The surveillance data up to December 7th paint a very different picture.
While many headlines are screaming that the ‘flu’ has come early, comparisons with the last two years indicate that it is within the range of previous years if you go back a little...<<<Read More>>>...

Covid Porn is Back
The tireless hacks at the BBC have emerged from their bunkers once again to terrorise the public by bravely touring the hospitals and whipping up hysteria about the latest outbreak of flu.
It seems “literally hundreds” of patients have been bombarding A&E
departments, according to Health Editor Hugh Pym and Chloe Hayward who
have been courageously touring the front line:
As one patient leaves his room at Leicester Royal Infirmary’s acute unit, cleaning staff are waiting outside.
He is barely out of the room before the bed is stripped and bleach is sprayed. The next patient is already waiting to come in.
Over
two days the BBC was given access to the hospital to witness first-hand
how it is coping with an early surge of winter bug cases.
Flu
season has hit a month earlier than normal this year, with experts
warning there appears to be a more severe strain of the virus – mutated
H3N2 – circulating.
Hospitals around the country, like this one in Leicester, are doing all they can to avoid becoming completely overwhelmed.
“Completely overwhelmed.” Sounds familiar?
They’re
at the Royal Infirmary in Leicester, and after citing some choice case
studies, miss no opportunity to make it sound like the end of the world
is imminent:
“There are patients in every cubicle,”
Consultant Saad Jawaid says, as Paige is wheeled in. “Another ambulance
has just rocked up.”
We watch as he works with colleagues in the resus unit to find desperately needed bed spaces.
“When
beds are full we have to move people – sometimes that means those who
can sit are moved out of beds and into chairs,” he says.
Regardless
of the situation in the hospital and the range of conditions people are
turning up with, on closer examination it things aren’t quite as bad as
the story’s florid copy suggests:
Richard Mitchell has
been the Chief Executive of University Hospitals Leicester NHS Trust
since 2021 – and has witnessed first-hand how it gets harder to cope
with each winter that passes.
”We are already seeing very high
levels of flu,” he tells us. He expects numbers to climb into January.
“That is one of the many things I am concerned about at the moment.
“At this point I feel we are working at the limits of our ability.”
What
exactly was he expecting? An idle coast through to April before going
on a well-unearned summer break? It raises the interesting question of
what people who work for the NHS think they are likely to be confronted
with in 21st century Britain.
The story ends up with the predictable exhortation to get a flu vaccine...<<<Read More>>>...
