It is wanting to get to the summit of the mountain without having to do the work. Instead of taking the footpath, and clambering up the rock face, it is wishing to hop into a helicopter and be taken to the summit.
Although the previous statement sounds profound, it is so very true of a multitude of 'spiritual practitioners' out there. There is such a high percentage of 'psychic mediums' who have mental health problems. They are damaged goods, but yet they are dealing with members of the public on a daily basis; providing advice and insights to people who may well be much more sane than they are. It is a troubling reality. Damaged goods can only pass on their flaws and impaired insights to others. They cannot heal when they've not been healed themselves.
These injured sheep profess to being teachers and leaders in their field; its part and parcel of their mental illness, sadly, to hide behind these lofty titles; to have people following them, adoring them, and feeding on their every word. It doesn't help heal them, in truth it only makes their illness worse. They crave fame and the popularity that comes with it. There are so many of them out there; we've witnessed so many in the Southern Hemisphere, for example; where it is a extremely worrying state of affairs; as a large percentage of the so called 'leaders in the psychic world' are nursing alarming narcissistic and psychological mental health issues.
Behind the facade of 'love and light' and 'lightworker' resides a soul that is anything but the nice person that the general public sees at expos and live shows.
