Looking fit for the part for a forthcoming Halloween scene, this Noisy Friarbird was photographed at Stranger Pond. This is another picture taken from the 'Mr Ugly' folder on my hard drive. 'Mr Ugly' is my term of endearment for these strange looking Australian Native birds. Friarbirds are honey eaters, and are amongst my favourite bird subjects to photograph.
