How can they make those claims, when symbolism is open to individual interpretation? And what might mean one thing for one person, might not mean the same for someone else.
Were these so called experts around at the dawn of time when these creatures first appeared, to stamp their authority on what you see means? NO! So why do certain individuals within the 'new age movement' brand themselves as the only people who knows how to interpret animal and bird symbolism? But they do ... and they have their feathers ruffled (Forgive the pun) when people like us choose to add our bird and animal images on here, and on other social media pages, and we DARE to add a bird or animal meaning to our images!
We have been told to stick to our own niche and let those who really feel what animals and birds are saying, write their vanity press books filled with their own interpretations, which are rehashes of those who have gone before them anyway. We mustn't tread where these egocentric crazies tread in case we are deemed more popular, or knowledgeable than them. In a nut shell they want all the attention for themselves, basically.
