McCanns Return After Family Reunion

The parents of missing Madeleine McCann are back in Portugal after a short visit to the UK on family business. Kate and Gerry McCann attended the baptism of two of their godchildren in Skipton, north Yorkshire, after Gerry met senior police officers. The cardiologist also met with child abduction experts at the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre in London to learn about criminal profiling techniques being used in the search for his daughter.

Kate said the family reunion was an emotional day."Gerry and I wanted to be there, to take part and to support our godchildren on one of the most important days of their lives," she said."But, I am sure every mother in the world will understand, it was heartbreaking for me to be with our family, yet not be with Madeleine."
