NZ: Saturated Northland in for another soaking

Yahoo Xtra News Report; says: 'Saturated Northland is in for another soaking this weekend but not as bad as the floods which caused millions of dollars in damage a fortnight ago. The MetService said a low bringing heavy rain and northeast gales was expected to reach Northland tonight and then move quickly south tomorrow morning. Heavy rain was forecast in Northland tonight with forecasters saying in nine hours beginning at 9pm tonight, up to 70mm rain could fall."There is a possibility of thunderstorms and rainfall rates of 20mm per hour are likely. This event is not on the scale of the one we had two weeks ago but there may be some localised surface flooding in already saturated areas.'
