The traveller must surely err on caution at this point within the perpetuating maze? So suddenly .... another corridor appears in the traveller's desire for the exit to the maze. The maze has been such a long and twisting sojourn ... by now the traveller would relish the final corridor; the last bend to be turned and the maze to be finally over.Thus the traveller must not be complacent at this moment in time. Remember, the creator of this maze is deliberate and crafty ... and has had plenty of time to perfect the maze's design.
A wary gaze at the wisdom of Merlin (by way of the Merlin Tarot) may perhaps reveal just what it is the cunning fox has in stall for the tired traveller at this moment in time:
The Queen of Serpents permits her persona to be seen ... perhaps the seductress to deceive the traveller. Perhaps the enchantress, or the siren, to lead the hapless traveller along the wrong corridor. A deadly mistake? Perhaps the arrow doesn't point towards the exit at all? It is therefore worth being wary with regard to the choice of path through the maze at this moment, after all?
The Page of Fishes stands before the traveller. An apparition out of place. An odd sighting indeed. The page's attention appears to be elsewhere. Wary the traveller refuses to eat from the offered bowl placed before him. Even though he is hungry ... that which is offered by the Page is not what it appears to be.
The four of Birds ... the 10 of Fishes .... wait Traveller ... another choice of direction is about to appear. Another communication perhaps? Another choice. Perhaps this next communique will be the right direction after all? There is anticipated excitement with the next one. Sit tight traveller ... ignore the siren's call ... soon something comes that provides all that you need!
