Crib Goch, SnowdonOne of the most memorable walks has to be the Crib Goch ridge on Mount Snowdon in Wales. It is a spectacular ridge walk ... one of the best in the Uk, in my opinion. However, the likes of Striding Edge, Sharp Edge are on a par with Crib Goch.
The only disappointment with Crib Goch .. is at the very end ... when after an exhilarating hour or so traversing the ridge ... after negotiating the 1000 foot clear drops on either side ... you climb up over on the summit ridge of Snowdon, and meet with day trippers chomping on ice cream and wearing high heel shoes and training shoes!!!! Day trippers who ventured the easy way up Snowdon courtesy of the mountain train!
