A Tor Interlude

Ok. Stop whatever it is you are doing right now (apart from reading this post that is. Yes and continue looking at the computer too) and try to breath a little easier. Indeed ... take a deep breath and hold it for the count of ten. One. Two. Three. Four. Five. Six. Seven. Eight. Nine. Ten. Now let that breath go and with it see all your tensions go too. See them as plumes of grey smoke. Now take another deep breath and do it again. Let out the tension once more.

Now breath in slowly ... imagining the air you are breathing is pure. Purest mountain air. Feel that freshness as it enters your lungs. Become aware how light headed you are becoming. How relaxed you feel. How you are now in an altered state of awareness. An altered state of consciousness even.

Next look at the picture above of Glastonbury Tor. It is a special picture. In your adjusted state see it is so .. it is indeed a special picture.

Now relax. Take it easy. Tell your mind to be blank. Empty of any of those worrying thoughts you had ten minutes ago ... it will make you feel calm and relaxed whenever you look at it. It will slow down your heartbeat and it will ease the weight of the stress on your shoulders. It will make you see clearly and understand your situations more.

Look at the picture once more and see it is so.

Now look once more at the image. Focus for a moment or two on its content. Take in the colours ... and the emotions it makes you feel. There is a healing energy which emanates from the picture. It is contained within its form. See the picture and realise that it is so. Now become aware of the sunlight which is like a halo around the Tor ... become aware of it becoming brighter and brighter. You sense now that this sunlight has somehow transported itself around you ... it is warming you. Soothing you. Healing you.

Take a deep breath and feel that healing energy be absorbed as you breath it in. Warm and soothing. Calming and reassuring.

Now ... let that awareness go ... its time to return to your everyday. Just know next time you need to be calmed and to be eased ... all you have to do is look at the picture of Glastonbury Tor above.

All it takes is self belief and this healing will be so. The state of mind too. All those possibilities are within you ... within us all ... we've just been made too busy to remember how.
