Using first the 'book meanings' as per the accompanying book to the Servants of the Light Tarot by Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki:
Keeper of Crescents - The Keeper herself sits with her back to us, holding the crescent in her hands. The card has the meaning of a quiet and slightly dreamy woman full of deep passion and feelings. She is in perhaps a reflective mood with the photograph of a male companion or family member close by ... someone she has lost in recent years . Her life has become transformed in recent months ... no longer the same ... she can no longer return back to what she had before. The burden of the crescent she coverts the cause of the change of course in her life ...
Seven of Spheres - 'The Jester is understandably fed up. Perhaps he should have found a safe place for his valuable burden before putting it down. Awareness suggested eyes were upon him in the recent months. Sadly the warnings seemed to have born fruit. The card tells that despite all the hard work put into a scheme there is still time before it shows a profit or before any reward comes from it. Perseverance will bear fruit,
The Hanged Man - Indicates the ability to adapt and change as new demands are made. It gives a suppleness of thought and a patient mind. The ability to understand something vital.
Seven of Staves - 'Have courage ...this opposition will not last forever.
What to make then of four images seemingly not connected to the location of the 8 of Weapons in anyway? From the four images themselves there are subtle clues of a locality .... a place which has been deemed a place of safety by those who are the custodians to Madeleine. A building with clear ground around it ... with few roads in and out. A strategically placed property it appears. Just one of a number of safe houses at the disposal of this group. Properties perhaps linked to religious significance in someway and therefore of remote suspicion? It is the sense intuition does feel here. The 'keeper' often sits on rocks facing the sea ... going through her own mourning of a loss she has not yet come to terms with? Her own father perhaps or more significantly her own child? One or both? Her maternal instinct towards Madeleine feels strong. She is quite clingy ... not permitting Madeleine out of her sight. Close by to the property ... indeed on the road that leads there .... the road leads through a gorge or section with steep sloes on either side. Mountains can be seen in the distance ... this may be a locality on an island ... but it is island of some size because roads lead inland from the coast to mountains in the interior. There is a greenness to the land ... no sign of desert or damage due to the sun beating down. Intuition has two 'nations' in mind ... however this needs to be confirmed before it is 'uttered' here ...
"Emissaries' of the higher realms stand close beside me... there is no 'new' news to report. No change in the ether. My attempts at revealing the locality blocked on such a public space ... it seems the locality ... or indeed one has been gleaned by those who watch with 'intelligent' eyes ... a network of names and faces work tirelessly to track the routes and directions of a group or perhaps a pair of persons.
A lady in white drifts beside me. A old lady of great years ... Alison or 'Alice of the son' ... a lady of slakeless faith and commitment. Fearless in life and fearless too for the family of the child ... they may be suffering at this time ... but it will be over in time ... joyous news will fill their hearts with light and glee ... she will be there with them at that time ... they may visit a church at that time ... but it is NOT for the loss of their loved one ... on the contrary it will be for the return of their princess.
I am given the vision of lake and rowan tree and mountain pony ... a place of rugged beauty ... here is where a 'ancestral home' lies in ruins. Forgotten by the younger generation but referred by the older ones ... the surviving ones will know this place and realise which of the 'sons' Alice refers to ... and why she comes at this time.
