CURRAWONG

Pied Currawong are unmistakable native birds. Their characteristic cry and their uncanny nature to observe with their piercing yellow eyes! I remember their cry as it sounds like 'status quo' 'status quo' ... it sounds daft, but that's how it sounds when their cry breaks the still.

I have numerous good photographs of these birds. This one is a composition that I am totally happy with.
