Floods Hit Queensland Infrastructure

'Floodwaters in the Australian state of Queensland are causing catastrophic damage to the infrastructure, forcing a great percentage of coal mines to stop operation.Queensland's Premier Anna Bligh issued a statement on Wednesday, saying that the region's worst flooding in decades has forced 75 percent of the nation's coal mines, which fuel Asia's steel mills, to grind to a halt.
