Gripe Of The Day

A new feature to A Light In The Darkness (Yeah Right) is Gripe Of The Day. Sometimes we all have something we wish to get off our chest. Something we wish to shout loudly from a street corner and share with the world. Today's gripe is Blogger.com and the difficultly being experienced with uploading images into blog posts. Ok, so it might not be Blogger themselves.

The gripe might be with 3G Mobile (or more than likely with shitty Windows Explorer 8 which also won't let me cut and paste text directly into a post. Which is another gripe in itself)... but whatever the cause is ... it's truly been winding me up in recent weeks. In the past I'd been able to upload images of up to 3MB (or more) relatively easily. There was always some delay whilst the upload took place. But in recent weeks this is now impossible.

All images to be uploaded are now having to be compressed to less than 100kb in order for them to appear in the blog post. Anything of a bigger size and the upload box remains on the screen indefinitely. Until I give up trying to upload the photo. There are posts where an image was planned, where I gave up in the end, even with an image of 50kb or less!
