Using the Tarot of Atlantis to gain an insight into the first season in the English Premiership (2010-2011) for the recent new arrivals (Blackpool FC) ... Their significator is the Knave of Chalices depicting the lifting of the winning trophy which permitted their progress into the top tier of English football ... the 3 of Swords is the first image; associated with the Knave of Chalices and the successful winning formula ... except the image depicts a more solid defensive stance. More adapted and fortified. Early lessons learnt. New additions to the defence. The same captain leads the squad. Next the 4 of Pentacles which indeed indicates success and solidity. No immediate concerns here for the 'youngster' in the well established league. The 3 of Chalices and the team begins to work together in harmony ... there are new players thus added to the squad. Then the 5 of Pentacles ... and the strengthening of positions in the team and in the league. No obvious signs of a teamed doomed to relegation in their first year. More like a team establishing itself in a new league. Learning well from its mistakes and adapting to new surroundings --- Matthew James
