Anomaly Gallery - Mars Once More...

Can anyone see signs of water in this image? That's what is appears to be right? And, if you were told this was a satellite image of somewhere on Earth, we'd go ... so what ... right? Now ... this image is NOT of planet Earth; it is a image of Mars. Right away ... the programmed response will be to reject the image, and come up with some other explanation for this landscape ... as 'we all know there is no water on Mars right ... because those boys & girls at NASA have said there is no water' . Ok, so if this is not water then what is it? And why is this landscape 'hidden' within the tampered images that constitute the Google Mars imagery available to public scrutiny? Why go to the great effort of tampering with the images ...?
