Spiritual Teachers or Loose Cannons?

This is for the self ordained 'Spiritual Teachers' and 'Spiritual Facilitators' out there ... are you fully conversant with the mechanisms and processes behind the 'spiritual exercises' that you teach? Can you explain how it all works to your students? Or are you just passing on a diluted and reworked version of the 'New Age Theory' that is out there?

Have you identified your own failings, weaknesses and flaws, and are you able to avoid passing those energies on to your students? Do you offer your students the chance to become teacher when their abilities surpass your own?

If you are unable to comprehend, yourself, how the processes work and how it ticks ... then you should not be teaching what you don't understand to anyone, before you totally understand what it is you are dealing with. A spiritual teacher who doesn't comprehend the mechanisms behind their subject matter is a loose cannon.

Many of you are still very much a student of the mystical arts yourself, and should not be in such a position of responsibility ... it should only occur when your own practising has become tried and tested, and you have mastered the arts to such a degree that everything you teach is your own methodology. You will have back engineered the processes, and know how it all works implicitly. If you have to use other people's material, and your training methods are a diluted rehash of everything that is out there, then you should not be a teacher.

Its a real problem at this moment in time ... there are multitudes of apparent 'Spiritual Teachers' and 'Spiritual Facilitators' out there, but they are all clones of each other; they are in competition with each other; and what they are using is pretend mystical arts ... they think what they use is the real deal ... but it is in fact a mind game created by the false ego. It is not the real deal ... and the danger is there are unaware of the spell of illusion they are under. and they are passing the same illusion on to their students ... passing it off as spiritual practice.

They will only be ready to be teach when they lose the show pony and arena sheep mentality ... and develop their own methods that reflect an advanced comprehension of the mystical arts. There are very few out there who show this level of maturity and level of expertise that enables them to be teachers and facilitators.
