This was another particularly special Nankeen Kestrel photograph. It was amongst the first images I was able to capture of this awesome Raptor. I can remember the excitement and the exhilaration I felt whilst focusing this Kestrel and then ensuring the composition was right; at any moment the Kestrel could have taken to flight leaving me without a decent picture.
