An account filed with the National UFO Reporting Center on October 26 detailed a silver, pill-shaped unidentified aerial phenomenon that seemed nearly motionless as the plane drew closer. One pilot photographed the object and later described the August 16 encounter in a follow-up interview with NUFORC investigator Ben Hansen.
“The surface was silver and highly reflective, like pure polished metal,” the investigator’s report states, identifying the pilot only as “J.” Hansen added that “J described the UAP as uniform, pill-shaped.
