Project Blue Beam In The Obama Era
Nearly two in three Americans think President Barack Obama is better suited than Republican rival Mitt Romney to deal with an alien invasion, according to a survey released Wednesday. National Geographic Channel contacted 1,114 adults across the United States last month for its fanciful opinion poll ahead of its new cable television documentary series “Chasing UFOs.” Thirty-six percent of respondents said they were certain that unidentified flying objects exist. Eleven percent were confident they had spotted a UFO, and 20 percent said they knew someone who claimed to have seen one. There’s a reason for the intense increase in UFO and alien invasion news, documentaries and movies. These are being brought forward in our consciousness for a reason which will perhaps soon come into play quite profoundly. Oddly enough these types of stories have been in circulation for millennia. It was accepted and even “written in stone” in ancient cultures. What’s wrong with modern society? Is it all that hard to grasp that we’re not alone in the Universe? Apparently that’s the case, or so we’re supposed to think. This is typical of our information-suppressed and channeled world. Seems we can’t be trusted to know what’s really going on, or to be given the full facts so that we can decide for ourselves....read more>>>...
'Britain's Atlantis' found at bottom of North sea - a huge undersea world swallowed by the sea in 6500BC
Britain's Atlantis' - a hidden underwater world swallowed by the North Sea - has been discovered by divers working with science teams from the University of St Andrews. Doggerland, a huge area of dry land that stretched from Scotland to Denmark was slowly submerged by water between 18,000 BC and 5,500 BC. Divers from oil companies have found remains of a 'drowned world' with a population of tens of thousands - which might once have been the 'real heartland' of Europe. A team of climatologists, archaeologists and geophysicists has now mapped the area using new data from oil companies - and revealed the full extent of a 'lost land' once roamed by mammoths. The research suggests that the populations of these drowned lands could have been tens of thousands, living in an area that stretched from Northern Scotland across to Denmark and down the English Channel as far as the Channel Islands. The area was once the ‘real heartland’ of Europe and was hit by ‘a devastating tsunami', the researchers claim. The wave was part of a larger process that submerged the low-lying area over the course of thousands of years...read more>>>...
GlaxoSmithKline to Pay $3 Billion Fine After Pleading Guilty to Healthcare Fraud - the Biggest in U.S. History
A UK drugs firm has been hit with a $3billion penalty after admitting to the ‘biggest healthcare fraud in history’. GlaxoSmithKline paid U.S. medics to prescribe potentially dangerous medicines to adults and children. It handed out cash as well as everything from Madonna concert tickets to pheasant-hunting trips. Authorities branded GSK as ‘cheaters who thought they could make an easy profit at the expense of public safety, taxpayers, and millions of Americans’. The enormous settlement – believed to be the largest ever for a drugs firm – covers offences relating to some of GSK’s best-selling drugs between 1997 and 2004. It bribed doctors to prescribe Paxil to children even though the authorities had not approved its use for under-18s...read more>>...
Laying Our Burdens Down
We all know the feeling of walking through life as if we are carrying the huge burden of our worries and stresses on our backs and shoulders, struggling to keep moving forward. There is no real way to move freely and fluidly in such a situation, and we are all longing to lay our burdens down. Just imagining that it would be possible to do such a thing can be enough to elicit a sigh of relief and a feeling of lightness.
The human imagination is a powerful tool, and we can use it to take journeys to faraway places without ever leaving our home. Because of this, we too can lay our burdens down at the feet of a divine being such as the great Mother, Buddha or a mountain. Releasing ourselves from that which we can’t handle on our own. No matter how smart we are, how capable we are, or how hard we work, no one can single-handedly cope with all the worries that we tend to take on in the course of our lives. And, we aren’t designed to do so. Our wellbeing depends upon our ability to hand over that which we can no longer carry by ourselves.
Visualizing yourself carrying your burdens to the feet of someone or something much bigger than you can be a powerful daily practice. To begin, sit with your eyes closed and envision an all powerful, supremely comforting being in what ever form that takes for you, standing at the end of a road. See yourself carrying a large sack, box, or other container, imagining that all your worries are inside it. Watch as you make your way to the being of your choice, and lay your baggage down at their feet. Allow yourself to feel the lightness and relief of this action, express your gratitude, and surrender. You will be amazed by how this simple meditation can liberate you from a burden you were never meant to carry.

Healthy Dietary Additions to Cancer Treatment
A healthy diet can reduce risk and improve
outcome with many diseases, including cancer. In addition, some nutrients and
types of food can help fight cancer specifically. Below are a few of the best
food and dietary practices for cancer patients who want to optimize their
energy levels and chances of recovery.Stick to Healthy Fats
Eating healthy fats can keep the immune system strong, helping the body to stay protected against illness. Polyunsaturated fats, such as olive oil, canola oil and omega-3 fatty acids, found mainly in fish, are known to boost the immune system and help fight inflammation. To increase the consumption of these healthy fats, many cancer patients eat fish and snack on seeds and nuts regularly.
Eat More Mushrooms
Edible mushrooms of all kinds contain polysaccharides, immune-boosting substances that help combat illness. Lentinan polysaccharide, found in shiitake mushrooms, is a strong restorer of T-lymphocytes in patients fighting cancer. Although shiitake mushrooms are commonly associated with ethnic Asian dishes, their savory flavor makes a tasty addition to many classic American dishes as well.
Several studies have found amazing benefits of mushrooms for cancer patients. For example, a Chinese study found that women who ate only a third of an ounce of fresh mushrooms each day were about two-thirds less likely to develop cancer compared to those who ate none. Women who ate dried mushrooms saw a 50 percent reduction in cancer risk. The study also found that women who regularly ate mushrooms and drank green tea had an amazing 90 percent reduction in cancer risk.
Choose Brightly Colored Produce
By now, most people know that antioxidant consumption is associated with lower risk of developing many health problems, including mesothelioma and other types of cancer. It can be difficult, however, to remember which foods are highest in antioxidants. A simple way to eat healthfully is to choose the fruits and vegetables with bright colors. These choices are often richest in powerful flavonoids with strong antioxidant effects. For example, brightly colored purple and red berries, such as blueberries, cherries and strawberries, are rich in anthocyanins, polyphenols that help prevent cancer growth. Turmeric, a yellow spice, is rich in the flavonoid curcumin, a potent cancer fighter. Asian research has shown curcumin to be a potentially valuable part of nutrition for mesothelioma recovery. Apples contain high levels of quercetin, which can stop the growth of cancer cells. Finally, red-fleshed fruits and vegetables, such as red tomatoes, pink grapefruit and watermelon, contain large amounts of lycopene, which helps fight prostate cancer.
Drink Plenty of Water
Research has shown that getting enough water can cut risks of colon cancer and bladder cancer by about half as well as lower breast cancer risk significantly. In addition to drinking lots of water, patients can also eat fresh fruits and vegetables to maintain hydration and eliminate toxins from chemotherapy throughout treatment.
By eating a balanced diet, drinking plenty of water and getting enough exercise, patients can maintain their energy and mood and improve their chances of recovery during cancer treatment. Patients can also reduce their risk of relapse by maintaining these healthy practices during remission.

Fire in the sky: Burning meteorite trail lights up Australian sky for 20 minutes after rock plunges into the sea
A burning trail lit up the sky over Western Australia for 20 minutes after an object suspected to be a meteorite plunged into the sea, leaving a burning orange trail that mesmerised local residents. Beachgoers in Perth debated what could have caused the strange burning line in the sky, which persisted for 20 minutes. Most meteorite trails are only seen briefly - and seeing an object plunge into the sea is rare. Meteorites are fragments of rock that land on Earth's surface. Those that burn up - 'ablate' - in Earth's atmosphere are referred to as meteors. The meteorite was reported by Perth Now. Seeing such clear, fiery trails is rare...read more>>>...

Crop Circle mystery in France
The mysterious design seems to have appeared two weeks ago in the middle of a wheat field. In the nearby village of Boigny, hardly anybody took notice. On Thursday afternoon, the sky was black, thunder was rumbling and wind was blowing in the trees. The mysterious phenomenon appeared on this wheat field, in the village of Chécy, close to the school. Hidden and invisible from the road, it was impossible to locate without aerial photography. The wheat is flattened, broken, spoilt. The design could only have appeared at night. By day, the alleged authors would have been caught. The main crop circle is made of flattened wheat spirals. 50 metres east, there's another one - an enigmatic circle. Those strangely perfect geometric designs are raising questions. Who is responsible for this hoax? Is it some performance? A message to be deciphered? Or, as certain scientists claim, is it some UFO phenomenon? An extraterrestrial creation?...read more>>>...

Death of the Birds and the Bees Across America
If governments in the EU, USA and other countries fail to impose a total ban on certain chemical insecticides, not only could bees become a thing of the past. The human species could face staggering new challenges merely to survive. The immediate threat comes from the widespread proliferation of commercial insecticides containing the highly-toxic chemical with the improbable name, neonicotinoids. Neonicotinoids are a group of insecticides chemically similar to nicotine. They act on the central nervous system of insects. But also on bees and small song birds. Recent evidence suggests they could also affect human brain development in newborn.
Some five to six years back, reports began to circulate from around the world, especially out of the United States, and then increasingly from around the EU, especially in the UK, that entire bee colonies were disappearing. Since 2004 over a million beehives have died across the United States and beekeepers in 25 states report what is called Colony Collapse Disorder. In winter of 2009 an estimated one fifth of bee hives in the UK were lost, double the natural rate.3 Government authorities claimed it was a mystery.
And in the USA a fact sheet from the Environmenrtal Protection Agency (EPA) on Bayer AG’s Clothianidin, a widely used neonicotinoid, warned:
“Available data indicate that clothianidin on corn and canola should result in minimal acute toxic risk to birds. However, assessments show that exposure to treated seeds through ingestion may result in chronic toxic risk to non-endangered and endangered small birds (e.g., songbirds) and acute/chronic toxicity risk to non-endangered and endangered mammals...read more>>>...

Inspiration for the Day
Are you aware of your inner critic? We all have this voice that tells us we are bad, stupid, clumsy, cowardly.... Although its intent is to help us succeed, the harsh self talk of our critic just serves to drain our energy and lower our morale and immune system.
To defuse the inner critic, we need to recognize when the critic is speaking. We need to know that this voice does not necessarily speak for who we really are. This is an old pattern that may no longer be serving us. We want to open to the possibility that the words are not likely true. We can ask ourselves, "Are these words helpful?"-- John Robson

UFOs, Aliens and the Question of Contact
The UFO phenomena is quite an elusive topic. Despite many years of documented encounters, there is still no confirmation from any "official" authorities, be it mainstream science or government, that there may be something "otherworldly" going on. On the contrary, there is often ridicule and avoidance whenever this subject comes up. Yet most of the general public believes that extraterrestrial UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects) exist and that the government is hiding information from us. Many people had UFO sightings themselves. However, most people also don't give it much attention or thought, believing that it doesn't really affect us anyway and that we'll deal with it once official "contact" has been made.
But what if the UFO phenomena is not what we thought it is, but has influenced humanity and the world at large for thousands of years? What would be the implications?...read more>>>...

Aura Colour Meanings
The aura is the electromagnetic field that surrounds the human body (Human Energy Field-HEF) and every organism and object in the Universe. The Human Energy Field as a collection of electro - magnetic energies of varying densities that permeate through and emit or exit from the physical body of a living person. These particles of energy are suspended around the healthy human body in an oval shaped field. This "auric egg" emits out from the body approximately 2-3 feet (1 metre on average) on all sides. It extends above the head and below the feet into the ground. The aura consist of seven levels/layers/auric bodies . Each one of the subtle bodies that exist around the physical body, has its own unique frequency. They are interrelated, and affect one another and the person's feelings, emotions, thinking, behaviour, and health as well. Therefore a state of imbalance in one of the bodies leads to a state of imbalance in the others...for Aura Colours read more>>>...
Ending the Cycle
One of the hardest things in life is feeling stuck in a situation that we don’t like and want to change. We may have exhausted ourselves trying to figure out how to make change, and we may even have given up. However, each day offers us an opportunity to renew our resolve and to declare to the universe that we are ready for change. We may even say out loud that we have tried and struggled and have not found a way, but that we are open to help, and that we intend to keep working to create change for ourselves. Making this declaration to the universe, and to ourselves, may be just the remedy for the stagnation we are experiencing. And, it can be done today, right now.
It is difficult to understand, even with hindsight, how the choices we have made have added up to our current situation, but it is a good idea to examine the story we tell ourselves. If we tend to regard ourselves as having failed, this will block our ability to allow ourselves to succeed. We have the power to change the story we tell ourselves by acknowledging that in the past, we did our best, and we exhibited many positive qualities, and had many fine moments on our path to the present moment. We can also recognize that we have learned from our experiences, and that this will help us with our current choices.
When we do this kind of work on how we view our past self, we make it possible for the future to be based on a positive self-assessment. This inner shift may allow us to get out of the cycle we’ve been in that’s been keeping us stuck. Now we can declare our intentions to the universe, knowing that we have done the inner work necessary to allow our lives to change. Allow today to be the day to end cycles and enter into a new way of being.

Al Qaeda 'plot to blow up passenger jet' in run up to Olympics uncovered by security forces
A terrorist plot to blow up a U.S. passenger jet timed to coincide with the Olympics has been uncovered by security agencies, according to intelligence sources. Al Qaeda intended to use a radicalised Norwegian Islamic convert to attack U.S. planes in the build-up to the London Games - which start in 26 days on July 27 - it is understood. The plan centred on using the so-called ‘clean skin’ – a terrorist with no previous criminal record and are unlikely to raise suspicions among the security services – in order to evade airport security...read more>>>...

Vietnamese girl with fire-starting superpowers mystifies scientists
Many think this young girl has supernatural abilities and scientists are puzzled by what she has accomplished so far. She is now being called a global scientific phenomenon. According to the family, their 11-year-old daughter has a bizarre ability to set things aflame by just being near them. The young Vietnamese girl living in HCM City's Tan Binh District has drawn a great deal of attention from the nation's media. Her father tells it all started about a month ago when the family home's electrical network suffered several short circuits, about a month ago. Electricians were called to fix the short circuit but could not find the cause behind the power failures. He said the girl was taken to other houses where the same phenomenon took place each time. Her mattresses, fans and other equipment have burst into flames. The hotel room where her family stayed two weeks ago during their holiday on Vung Tau beach also suffered burns from a blaze. The girl has been examined by doctors at Cho Ray Hospital and the Children's Hospital No. 2 but nothing abnormal has been found...read more>>>...
Hidden Portals in Earth’s Magnetic Field
A favourite theme of science fiction is “the portal”–an extraordinary opening in space or time that connects travelers to distant realms. A good portal is a shortcut, a guide, a door into the unknown. If only they actually existed….It turns out that they do, sort of, and a NASA-funded researcher at the University of Iowa has figured out how to find them. “We call them X-points or electron diffusion regions,” explains plasma physicist Jack Scudder of the University of Iowa. “They’re places where the magnetic field of Earth connects to the magnetic field of the Sun, creating an uninterrupted path leading from our own planet to the sun’s atmosphere 93 million miles away.” Observations by NASA’s THEMIS spacecraft and Europe’s Cluster probes suggest that these magnetic portals open and close dozens of times each day. They’re typically located a few tens of thousands of kilometers from Earth where the geomagnetic field meets the onrushing solar wind. Most portals are small and short-lived; others are yawning, vast, and sustained. Tons of energetic particles can flow through the openings, heating Earth’s upper atmosphere, sparking geomagnetic storms, and igniting bright polar auroras...read more>>>...
2012 - Another Report
1/7/2012 - this is the first day of the second half of this enigmatic year. A year of many emotional twists and turns already. A strange year to date by all accounts ... so many sensitives have reported the different energies in this year already. So many negative experiences and unexpected reactions from people. I wonder what the second half of 2012 has in stall for us? Somehow I think there will be more twists and turns. It feels like a big storm is brewing. That this is merely the eye of the storm. Interesting analogy I know ... but it just feels like that at this time. - MJ

Extra Sensorial Faculties and Intuition
Traditionally, we have five senses, which give us ideas that define our reality. These senses, are in fact, only the starting point of many other senses, which are vaster and deeper, and we must deepen in their meaning, importance, and real value. There are opinions against paranormal, nevertheless, this does not mean that the subject is not true since it is very serious and true subject, that generally has been mistreated. Besides, the public has been confused and disoriented.
Paranormal perception is a reality, a level of reception of the consciousness, through the mind and different levels of consciousness. This perception that goes beyond the known senses, is related to the level of serenity, calm and depth of the consciousness, which gives place to the mind extending its fundamental energy towards the universe. In other words: When the mind is serene, for example, in the experience of meditation, the energy of the mind is able to move and travel even higher than the individual and beyond time and space. These senses, have also been called, visceral senses, precognitive senses and also intuitive senses, which means, that one is able to perceive -without having to use reasoning- the emotions or the objective consciousness. Nevertheless, when the perception comes, is like a mixture of information. In many occasions is like a puzzle and that is the reason that many persons doubt the veracity of the experience...read more>>>

Is the Baltic Sea 'Sunken UFO' an Elaborate Scam?
The ocean explorers who discovered a huge, UFO-shape object on the floor of the Baltic Sea last year are having a heck of a time figuring out what it is. A suspiciously hard time, some would say. The Swedish divers, who call themselves the Ocean X Team, claim the object is giving off electrical interference that keeps foiling their attempts to investigate it. "Anything electric out there - and the satellite phone as well - stopped working when we were above the object," said diver Stefan Hoberborn in an Ocean X press release. "And then we got away about 200 meters and it turned on again, and when we got back over the object it didn't work." As a result, there is still only one sonar image in existence of the 200-foot-wide (60-meter-wide) object, which UFO believers say is a crashed flying saucer. According to experts in remote imaging and geology, however, that image is "lacking in resolution, detail, and quantification," is riddled with "numerous processing artifacts" and looks like a spaceship only because the Ocean X team drew a Millennium Falcon-shape outline around it. Instead, the experts said, what the image shows is probably a roughly circular rock formation called a pillow basalt - rare, but very much of this world...read more>>>...
Moving Our Body
Our bodies love movement. When we stretch or dance, our bodies adjust, realign and start to become fluid with the rhythm of life. Our mood lifts and we feel more connected with the world around us. If you are feeling stuck, ready to release old energy, or eager to feel more alive, try moving your body. By giving your muscles a chance to do what they were created for, you may find that all areas of your body and your life benefit as well.
Many times we can be so busy that we forget moving our body is even an option. Some of us remain seated at our computer for hours every day or rush from task to task with robotic precision. When we are caught up in crossing items off our to-do lists, we tend to neglect all the opportunities there are to enjoy our bodies in the process of living. If this is true for you, begin looking for opportunities to move. You might try dancing or moving about freely as you clean your home, tend your garden or care for your children. If you are able to devote a set amount of time to self-care, practices such as yoga, dance, tai chi and walking are all great ways to keep your body in motion.
Imagine how freeing it would feel to trust your body’s movements completely, knowing it has a perfect strength and rhythm of its own. See if you can sense your bones providing graceful support, your muscles and tendons expanding and contracting in just the right measure, your lungs changing pace to fill deeply with fresh air. Movement is a vital celebration of life. It is a way to proclaim your own existence and relish in the joy of being alive. Today, and into the future, give yourself the gift of your body in motion.

What's Really Behind the Ingredients in 'Natural Flavors?'
What does the term "natural flavors" really mean? Could it be that the term "natural flavors" includes genetically modified, pesticide-laden food? There are also plenty of "food products" on the shelves that read "all natural" on the label, but they still contain large amounts of synthetic, laboratory-concocted food agents, many of which cause diseases and disorders. So how much more confusing can it get to simply shop for food that doesn't kill you slowly?
Exactly who makes the rules about terms put on labels? You better hope it doesn't all fall in the hands of the FDA, the same organization responsible for allowing genetically modified food to exist and be sold completely undercover ever since its inception. And does natural flavoring include the migraine headache monster monosodium glutamate? Also, can "natural flavoring" include bugs that are ground up to turn your food into some "happy" colors that help you celebrate some birthday or big event? One final question: could "natural flavoring" mean the food contains meat, even though it's a vegetarian or vegan product?...read more>>>...

When we meet someone for the first time, we often create a defining image in our minds of who that person is. We may also determine whether or not that someone is worth getting to know. Sometimes when an initial interaction is particularly uncomfortable or challenging, we can decide to close our hearts to this new acquaintance entirely. But being too quick to judge can cause us to lose out on a potentially wonderful, enriching relationship. First impressions don’t always give the complete picture, so if you meet someone who leaves you less than impressed, consider giving them a second chance. You might be pleasantly surprised. Everyone deserves to be given a second chance. We know from personal experience how painful it can feel to be misunderstood or judged. We have good hearts and want them to be seen. We have so much to offer and want others to welcome our gifts. When someone shuts us out before they even know who we are, it can feel frustrating, hurtful, and confusing. By giving others a second chance, we can extend the same courtesy we would ask for ourselves. In this way, we set a precedent for all our relationships: to allow everyone the freedom and safety to simply be human. Whether it is a blind date, the man sitting next to you on the airplane, or your new neighbor, everyone has a full life outside of their interaction with you. They may be preoccupied with a personal or business situation that affects the way they are presenting themselves, or maybe they had a rough day or some bad news. If you give them the room to be who they are, where they are, you will allow yourself to do the same. When you are considering giving someone a second chance, first check in with your inner knowing. If you find that your intuition is advising you to keep your distance, it is important to honor the guidance you receive. By honoring your intuition when it has wisdom to share, you can feel confident and happy in your decision to give others a second chance

Quote for the Day
"The people in the world whom we hate, judge, or have strong negative reactions toward are direct representations of our disowned selves. Conversely, the people in the world whom we overvalue emotionally are also direct representations of our disowned selves"-- Hal and Sidra Stone

'UFO' at the bottom of the Baltic Sea 'cuts off electrical equipment when divers get within 200m'
The divers exploring a 'UFO-shaped' object at the bottom of the Baltic Sea say their equipment stops working when they approach within 200m. Professional diver Stefan Hogerborn, part of the Ocean X team which is exploring the anomaly, said some of the team's cameras and the team's satellite phone would refuse to work when directly above the object, and would only work once they had sailed away. He is quoted as saying: 'Anything electric out there - and the satellite phone as well - stopped working when we were above the object. 'And then we got away about 200 meters and it turned on again, and when we got back over the object it didn’t work.'...read more>>>....

Dodging and Deflecting
One of the most difficult challenges in life is learning not to take things to heart and hold on to it. Especially when we’re younger, or if we’re very sensitive, we take so much of what comes our way to heart. This can be overwhelming and unproductive if it throws us off balance on a regular basis. When we are feeling criticized or attacked from all directions, it becomes very difficult for us to recover ourselves so that we can continue to speak and act our truth. This is when we would do well to remember the old saying about letting certain things roll off us, like water off a duck’s back.
Most of the time, the attacks and criticisms of others have much more to do with them and how they are feeling than with us. If we get caught up in trying to adjust ourselves to other people’s negative energy, we lose touch with our core. In fact, in a positive light, these slings and arrows offer us the opportunity to strengthen our core sense of self, and to learn to dodge and deflect other people’s misdirected negativity. The more we do this, the more we are able to discern what belongs to us and what belongs to other people. With practice, we become masters of our energetic integrity, refusing to serve as targets for the disowned anger and frustration of the people around us.
Eventually, we will be able to hear the feedback that others have to offer, taking in anything that might actually be constructive, and releasing that which has nothing to do with us. First, though, we tend ourselves compassionately by recognizing when we can’t take something in from the outside without hurting ourselves. This is when we make like a duck, shaking it off and letting it roll off our back as we continue our way in the world. (Daily Om)

Spiritual Insight for the Day
"Mysticism emphasizes spiritual knowing, which is not rational and is independent of reason, logic or images. Da`at is Hebrew for “the secret sphere of knowledge on the cosmic tree.” Gnosis is Greek for the “intuitive apprehension of spiritual truths.” Jnana is Sanskrit for “knowledge of the way” to approach Brahman. Ma`rifa in Arabic is “knowledge of the inner truth.” Panna in Pali is “direct awareness”; perfect wisdom. These modes of suprarational knowing, perhaps described as complete intuitive insight, are not divine oneness; they are actualizing our inherent abilities to come closer to the goal. It is consummate cognition, unmediated discernment, with certainty."( taken from suprarational.org/gail2012/"The divine is not...")

Another 2012 Crop Circle

Water Meditation
Our bodies are over fifty percent water, so it makes sense that human beings have always considered water to be a sacred source of life and healing. It is literally half of who we are, and well over half of the earth’s surface is water. Water cleanses and hydrates, contains and produces nourishment, and when we enter it, holds us in an embrace that leaves no part of us untouched. Meditating with water can be a powerful way of aligning ourselves more fully with this support system that makes life both possible and pleasurable on so many levels.
We may wish to conduct our meditation while in physical contact with a body of water, whether in the intimacy of our bathtub or the vast container of an ocean. We might float on our backs in a swimming pool or sit with just our feet submerged in a pond or creek. On the other hand, we may simply close our eyes and choose a location based on our imagination. Whatever we choose, we can begin by closing our eyes and listening to our breathing. At the same time, we tune in to the particular music of the water we have chosen—the loud rushing of a river or waterfall, or the surreal silence of the world beneath the surface of the ocean. We might consider how the type of water we choose reflects what we seek—the peace beneath the hectic surface of life, the cleansing power of a river racing through a canyon, or the mood lifting, melodic bubbling of a lively creek.
As we move between awareness of our breath and awareness of the water in which we find ourselves, we can begin to release the things we no longer need into the rushing river, or release ourselves completely into the water’s embrace as we float, in our minds, in the watery womb of an ocean or a lake. When you feel you are ready to return to more solid ground, ease your body back onto earth, in your mind or in reality, and lie flat on your back, allowing the water to bead and roll off your skin, soaking the earth and evaporating into the air, leaving you cleansed, healed, and renewed.

Tarot Inspiration For Today
Tarot Images for this week - '3 of Crescents'; 'Keeper of Staves'; '9 of Staves' and 'The Priest' ... the tarot message reads "a good week for the birth of new ambitions IF ideas & opportunities are considered in the cold light of day, without any emotional attachment to situations or people the opportunity will lead you away from. New projects planned or discussed this week are more than likely to reach fruition before August 2012 as the universe hints at the urgency of getting these ideas taking place . There are also indications of situations in the coming week that require tact & diplomacy, especially where there are issues relating to other people's viewpoints/beliefs and backgrounds" - Matthew James 25th June 2012
