Ogham For The Day

Alder
Alder indicates protection and oracular powers.
Ogham Name: Fearn.
Physical: Be aware of uniqueness in self and others. Keep your eyes open to see the unusual and acknowledge what is seen in another if at all possible.
Mental: You will utilize something you previously overlooked. Oracular skills are not easy to acknowledge. the mind is unwilling at times to deal with the intuitive part.
Spiritual: You offer spiritual aid and protection in a dispute. Let your intuition guide you.

This tree is a water lover. The oily water resistant wood has been used extensively for underwater foundations and pilings in Venice and elsewhere. It is used in dairy vessels and the branches in making whistles. (Ogham Liberty)

What is Druidry?

A Spiritual Path, a way of life, a philosophy, Druidry is all of these…Druidry today is alive and well, and has migrated around the world forming a wonderful web of peo- ple who honour and respect the Earth and the sacred right to life of all that is part of the Earth. Like a great tree drawing nourishment through its roots, Druidry draws wisdom from its ances- tral heritage. There is a saying in Druidry that ‘The great tree thrives on the leaves that it casts to the ground’. Druidry today does not pretend to present a replica of the past, rather it is pro- ducing a new season’s growth. - Cairistiona Worthington, The Beginner’s Guide to Druidry

Just HALF a can of Coke is MORE than new daily sugar guidelines backed by scientists - who recommend just three cubes a day

Daily Mail: Just half a can of Coca Cola will exceed daily recommended sugar levels if new guidelines - backed by experts - are introduced. The new move would see the daily recommended sugar intake slashed to just 14g a day - the equivalent of three sugar cubes. It comes amid calls to ban sugary foods from schools as part of a radical new plan to combat obesity. Leading academics have said vending machines selling sweets and fizzy drinks should also be removed from public places. They have also called for a 'sugar tax' to increase the retail price of sugary drinks and sugar-rich foods by at least 20 per cent.

Current guidelines from the World Health Organisation set a maximum of 10 per cent of total energy intake from free sugars, with five per cent as a 'target'. Free sugars are defined as those added artificially to foods such as fizzy drinks and confectionery, rather than naturally occurring sugars found in fruit. This equates to around 50g of free sugars (10 cubes) per day as the maximum, with 25g (five cubes) as the target...read more>>>...

Supermoon 2014: September Harvest Moon Caps Off Summer Full Moon Trilogy

IBT: The final "supermoon" of 2014 will rise on Monday and wraps up the summer trilogy of full moons that began in July. The September full moon, in addition to being a supermoon, is also known as the Harvest Moon.

A Harvest Moon is the full moon closest to the equinox, when the sun crosses the celestial equator, which takes place this year on Sept. 23. For the Northern Hemisphere, the autumnal equinox marks the beginning of fall, with shorter days and longer nights. The Southern Hemisphere experiences a vernal equinox, marking the beginning of spring and longer days.

The September supermoon is the last of 2014, and skywatchers can get a good look at the full moon, as it appears slightly larger and brighter, on Monday. The illusion is due to the moon's elliptical orbit as it reaches its closest distance to Earth, known as perigee. The August supermoon was considered the best of the summer trilogy as the moon turned full within the hour it reached perigee whereas the July and September full moons occurred on the same day as perigee...read more>>>...

A Word on 'Egregore'

.."An egregore is a kind of group mind which is created when people consciously come together for a common purpose. Whenever people gather together to do something and egregore is formed, but unless an attempt is made to maintain it deliberately it will dissipate rather quickly. However if the people wish to maintain it and know the techniques of how to do so, the egregore will continue to grow in strength and can last for centuries."

An egregore has the characteristic of having an effectiveness greater than the mere sum of its individual members. It continuously interacts with its members, influencing them and being influenced by them. The interaction works positively by stimulating and assisting its members but only as long as they behave and act in line with its original aim. It will stimulate both individually and collectively all those faculties in the group which will permit the realization of the objectives of its original program. If this process is continued a long time the egregore will take on a kind of life of its own, and can become so strong that even if all its members should die, it would continue to exist on the inner dimensions and can be contacted even centuries later by a group of people prepared to live the lives of the original founders, particularly if they are willing to provide the initial input of energy to get it going again.

If the egregore is concerned with spiritual or esoteric activities its influence will be even greater. People who discover the keys can tap in on a powerful egregore representing, for example, a spiritual or esoteric tradition, will, if they follow the line described above by activating and maintaining such an egregore, obtain access to the abilities, knowledge, and drive of all that has been accumulated in that egregore since its beginnings. Agroup ororder which manages to do this can, with a clear conscience, claim to be an authentic order of the tradition represented by that egregore. In my view this is the only yardstick by which a genuine Templar order should be measured." (Chaos Matrix)

Egregores are artificial or spontaneously created elementals born from the spiritual, cultural and philosophical ties of a group and are given life and fueled by agreement, offerings and recognition.  Originally meaning “watcher” as they were elementals created by magical groups to keep watch over workings and protect against physical and non physical dangers and intruders.  Many pagan and esoteric groups consider “godforms” as egregores which are jointly created by the divine spirit and the god’s followers.  Egregores can be born, forgotten and evolve as in the case with aspects of godforms from ancient history.  Many have been worshipped as gods and have offerings and religions built around them such as Catholic Saints are good exampled of personified minor godforms some being pagan deities and others originating from real people who have been canonized.

Some of these personified egregores can be viral such as Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny without a central authority but still suspended with kids believing in them and adults knowing they are not real.  The creators (writers, corporate executives, actors and artists) of some personified egregores are equivalent to a priesthood. The collective actions, agreement, spirit, personification, imagery, traditions, cultural impact and interactions surrounding  of their fans, keepers and creators results in a collective group soul that manifests to have almost a karma, behaviors, style, destiny and personality.

A Word on 'The Endocrine System'

Inner Body: The endocrine system includes all of the glands of the body and the hormones produced by those glands. The glands are controlled directly by stimulation from the nervous system as well as by chemical receptors in the blood and hormones produced by other glands. By regulating the functions of organs in the body, these glands help to maintain the body’s homeostasis. Cellular metabolism, reproduction, sexual development, sugar and mineral homeostasis, heart rate, and digestion are among the many processes regulated by the actions of hormones.

The Druid Worlds

The Worlds
Original artwork by Matthew James
Inner World – Our personal inner world that exists in our imagination or psyche that can   sometimes connect us to an objective, transpersonal Otherworld.

Otherworld – The world or reality that exists in parallel with the physical/everyday world, that we visit sometimes in dreams or meditation, and that Druids believe we travel to on the death of the physical body. Used synonymously with the term ‘Spiritworld’.

Spiritworld – The world or reality that exists in parallel with the physical/everyday world, that we visit sometimes in dreams or meditation, and that Druids believe we travel to on the death of the physical body. Used synonymously with the term ‘Otherworld’.

Summerlands/The Blessed Isles/Hy Breasil – terms used in Druidry for the realm that exists in the Otherworld to which we travel on the death of the physical body.

The Memory Body - Part 1

They tell me in The Otherworld of the 'Memory Body' that we exist in when we have first made our passage over from the Earth Plane. A body which is a perfect replica of the body we carry during our time on the Earth plane. A perfect replica in every way - every emotion, every desire, every vice, every virtue, every thought.

There are many, many souls who exist in the Otherworld who don't realise they have died, as everything they had on the earth is there with them in the Otherworld. It is a state of transition ... they are left to realise it is their own evolution that dictates what state of awareness their consciousness requires.

Their Memory Body remains intact. Thus they still live out the human experiences in The Otherworld with no recollection of death. I've been told to call this 'death amnesia' ... their moments of death are forgotten. They find others who are the same and they spend their conscious awareness in a form identical to what they had on the earth plane ... as if nothing has changed.

This is NOT being Earthbound.

Quote for the Day

With Our Thoughts, We Make the World

New Dawn Magazine: Those of us who grew up in the 1980s were, quite unknowingly, absorbing a healthy dose of Eastern mysticism when we watched the wonderful Japanese television series “Monkey” every weekday evening at 6.30pm. For all of the colour and movement and occasionally risqué language that appealed to my childish mind, I was also, perhaps, taking to heart the wonderful précis of Buddhist philosophy that made up the introduction to each episode: “With our thoughts, we make the world.”

This is a quote from “The Dhammapada,” that exquisitely brief text that provides the reader with all of the main ideas to be found across all of the schools of Buddhism. In fact, it is the very first verse of that most fundamental book. It is the construct that informs the Buddhist world-view – all of this, that we so keenly call “reality,” is a product of thought, and so it can be influenced by the shape of our thoughts, and we can begin to craft a new reality through disciplining our process of thought and directing it towards wiser outcomes.

Volition and free-will were the points of divergence between Buddhism and the other religious systems of the ancient world, which tended to favour notions of fate and pre-destination. The Buddha taught that karma provided us with conditions only. In every single moment we are free to choose a wise thought and do a wise action. Buddhism is brutal in its advocacy of personal responsibility. Such a point of view seems strikingly modern and rational, though perhaps slightly politically incorrect in this more feeling age...read more>>>...

Seeking answers: Are we doing enough to learn the truth about UFOs?

S.O.T.T: A leading Australian researcher has called for the launch of a quick response team to investigate UFO sightings across Australia within hours of them being reported. The civilian unit would take on a role similar to air crash investigators, interviewing witnesses and taking samples from the scene to be tested, with findings documented and released publicly. The concept was among a raft of proposals tabled by experts at a Victorian UFO action conference.

Researcher Keith Basterfield also called for a three-day symposium to help explain one of Melbourneï's most baffling cases. "The 1966 sighting over Westall High School in Clayton South could be solved by bringing together witnesses and experts under the one roof," he said.  "I know of at least one Australian researcher who is sitting on some very detailed information about this case supplied by an informant and I would like to see them invited to share the knowledge with us all," Mr. Basterfield said. Questions were also raised about the validity of claims that a high-altitude weather balloon was to blame for the mystery....read more>>>...

Sleipnir - Travelling without Moving

White Dragon: Ódhinn the primordial archetypal' one eyed' great magician, wizard and shaman god of ancient Norse mythology whose name means 'ecstasy master', was also worshipped by the Saxon peoples as 'Wôdan', which hearkens back to the Indo European root word 'Wôdanaz'. The 'Ód' part of the name refers to an altered state of consciousness such as for example ecstatic trance states, as well as out of body experiences and the experience of an internal spiritual light. The 'in' part of the name refers to 'mastery' over whatever 'in' is applied to. Ódhinn was not so much as worshipped but emulated, especially by those shadowy sorcerers as well as wandering poets whom sought to come to an understanding of the nature of creation.

Ódhinn is known to wander the many worlds in the ancient myths, travelling upon the back of a magical horse, this miraculous horse is described as having eight legs akin to a spider. One can make a comparison here to the inter-dimensional time travelling science fiction character of "Dr Who" from the BBC1 television series who travels to other worlds in a vehicle called a "Tardis". One of Ódhinn"s innumerable by names, (each name being that of a magically constructed alternate persona of a self-image) was the "Unknowable one"; Ódhinn being somewhat of an eternal "question mark", forever shapeshifting from one mask persona into another so that he could enter into other realities.

The name of the horse upon which he rode is called Sleipnir, which means the 'gliding one'. The name is evocative of an ecstatic experience whereby Ódhinn is able to 'glide' into trance over the 'web' interconnecting all worlds, times and places as well as everything in creation, yet at the same time weaving the web as a spider. This web of 'connections' can be seen to be an underlying reality of an informational dreaming Universe which dreams it's self into physicality; when the web is accessed through induced trance or lucid dreaming one can therefore affect changes in physical reality.

The underlying web of energy and information which is seen to be the generative principle behind all forms was known to the ancient Saxon peoples as the web of "Wyrd".

The threads of the web of Wyrd 'were perceived to be woven' by three Goddesses whom represent the past, present and future. These three Goddesses were known to the ancient Norse peoples as the "Norns", perceived as sisters, their names are Urd, 'that which was', Verdandi, 'that which is becoming', and Skuld, 'that which is to become'...read more>>>...

Mad Science: ‘Genetically Modified Micro Humans’ to be ‘Farmed’ for Drug Testing by 2017

Natural Society: Artificial humans will be ‘farmed’ with interacting organs that can be used in drug tests, speeding up the process of FDA and other government regulatory approvals, and supposedly without damaging rats or other animals currently used in laboratories. Remembering to Pause

Daily OM: We have all had the experience of reacting in a way that was less than ideal upon hearing bad news, or being unfairly criticized, or being told something we did not want to hear. This makes sense because when our emotions are triggered, they tend to take center stage, inhibiting our ability to pause before we speak. We may feel compelled to release the tension by expressing ourselves in some way, whether it’s yelling back at the person yelling at us, or rushing to deliver words of comfort to a friend in trouble. However, there is much to be said for teaching ourselves to remember to pause and take a deep breath before we respond to the shocks and insults that can come our way in life.

For one thing, our initial response is not always what’s best for us, or for the other people involved. Reacting to childish rage with childish rage will only escalate the negativity in a situation, further ensnaring us in an undesirable dynamic. Similarly, when we react defensively, or simply thoughtlessly, we often end up feeling regret over our words or actions. In the end, we save ourselves a lot of pain when we take a deep breath and really tune in to ourselves, and the other person, before we respond. This doesn’t necessarily mean we don’t say anything, although in some cases, that may be the best option....read more>>>...

Satsang: The Power of Spiritual Presence

New Dawn Magazine: Enlightened people are like spiritual dynamos: they have a very strong presence which touches the people they come into contact with, transmitting something of their enlightenment to them. Even people who aren’t at all “spiritual” usually feel a sense of well-being in their presence, and so feel attracted to them without knowing why. And for people who have made some spiritual progress already, the effect can be extremely powerful. Contact with an enlightened person may enable them to make the final “jump” to permanent enlightenment themselves. This is one of the reasons why many spiritual traditions place so much emphasis on the role of a guru. The guru is so important not just because of the advice and guidance he can give you, but because he can transmit his spiritual power to you, giving you a taste of enlightenment and speeding up your spiritual development. (In Sanskrit, this is called satsang, literally “good company.”...read more>>>...

Psychic Protection: Immunise Yourself Against Negative Energy

New Dawn Magazine: Have you ever entered an empty room, or office, and felt “uncomfortable”? Feeling perhaps quite happy to get out of that room, or office, as soon as possible? Maybe you have found somewhere that feels “bad” at one time yet feels “okay” at another time? This could be where we work, live, or somewhere we are visiting or passing through.

What about people? Do you know anyone who seems to have a “negative” aura? Whenever you are near them you feel more depressed, angry or fearful, than you normally do? How about the opposite? Do you know anyone who seems to make you feel better just by being around you, not even needing to say anything to you to improve things?

Apart from feeling worse around certain people and/or in certain places, do you find that you sometimes lose a lot of energy (psychic draining) in these circumstances? Do you have a problem with such things as insomnia, poor sleep, nightmares or low energy levels? Perhaps you are constantly lacking in energy? Maybe being diagnosed as having chronic fatigue? Or maybe you always seem to be getting colds, illnesses or other problems?

If the answer is “yes” then chances are you may be under intentional, or unintentional, negative psychic influence. What some people call being under psychic attack. Can anything be done about such situations?...read more>>>...

The Celtic Meaning of The Alder

The Celtic meaning of the Alder deals with giving and nurturing among the sacred Ogham for many reasons. Namely, its root system provides rich nutrients to the soil, more so than other trees. The alder can successfully restore poor soil conditions back to healthy Ph levels.

Primarily a wetlands and swamp tree, the alder's root system is often submerged in watery areas. As such, the Celts observed their roots serving as intricate shelter systems to fish, specifically trout and salmon. Further, the alder's leaves easily decompose in the water providing rich nutrients to all manner of water creatures...read more>>>...

Giving Away Power

Daily OM: In many ways, we are taught from the time we are children to give away our power to others. When we were told to kiss and hug relatives or friends of the family when we didn’t want to, for example, we were learning to override our inner sense of knowing and our right to determine for ourselves what we want to do. This repression continued, most likely, in many experiences at school and in situations at work. At this point, we may not even know how to hold on to our power, because giving it away is so automatic and ingrained.

To some degree, giving our energy to other people is simply part of the social contract, and we feel that we have to do it in order to survive. It is possible to exchange energy in a way that preserves our inner integrity and stability. This begins in a small way: by listening to the voice that continues to let us know what we want, no matter how many times we override its messages...read more>>>...

Thoughts Have Wings

New Dawn Magazine: Telepathy is real. Thoughts have wings. It is a shame that telepathy, direct mind-to-mind interaction independent of the known senses (vision, hearing, smell, taste, touch, balance, and so on), is still shunned and mocked by many people. This despite the extensive studies of telepathy, precognition, and similar mental phenomena, carried out for more than a century by some of the best minds, including Ph.D. scientists and Nobel laureates. The basic phenomena of telepathy have been demonstrated over and over again, and even put to practical use. A vast scientific literature on parapsychology (which encompasses the study of telepathy) exists, with specialised journals and societies. There is strong laboratory evidence for telepathy, from classic card-calling studies to controlled experiments where an agent inserts material telepathically into a subject’s dreams, through more sophisticated tests for telepathic information transfer in the fully conscious state or at the threshold of consciousness between sleep and waking (hypnagogia)....read more>>>...

Hidden henge: Archaeologists discover huge Stonehenge 'sibling' nearby

S.O.T.T: Archaeologists have discovered that Stonehenge had a huge stone sibling just two miles to the northeast. Using powerful ground-penetrating radar, which can 'x-ray' archaeological sites to a depth of up to four metres, investigators from Birmingham and Bradford universities and from the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute in Vienna have discovered a 330 metre long line of more than 50 massive stones, buried under part of the bank of Britain's largest pre-historic henge.

"Up till now, we had absolutely no idea that the stones were there," said the co-director of the investigation Professor Vince Gaffney of Birmingham University. The geophysical evidence suggests that each buried stone is roughly three metres long and 1.5 metres wide and is positioned horizontally, not vertically, in its earthen matrix.

However, it's conceivable that they originally stood vertically in the ground like other standing stones in Britain. It is thought that they were probably brought to the site shortly before 2500BC. They seem to have formed the southern arm of a c-shaped ritual 'enclosure', the rest of which was made up of an artificially scarped natural elevation in the ground.

The c-shaped enclosure - more than 330 metres wide and over 400 metres long - faced directly towards the River Avon. The monument was later converted from a c-shaped to a roughly circular enclosure, now known as Durrington Walls - Britain's largest pre-historic henge, roughly 12 times the size of Stonehenge itself...read more>>>...

Quote Of The Day

Trees in particular were mysterious, and seemed to me direct embodiments of the incomprehensible meaning of life. For that reason, the woods were the place that I felt closest to its deepest meaning and to its awe-inspiring workings.
C.G.Jung, Memories, Dreams, Reflections

Druids And Stone Circles

OBOD: Druids love stones and stone circles. For the last two hundred years Druids have been creating them and celebrating in them. The classical writers say nothing about stone circles. Instead they say that Druids gathered in sacred groves, caves, or remote valleys. But in the seventeenth century a few scholars began to take interest in the mysterious monuments – the artificial mounds, stone circles, dolmens and standing stones – that filled the countryside around them. They read the classical accounts of the Druids and suggested that these monuments were built by them.

This forged an indelible association in the popular imagination between Druids and stone circles such as Stonehenge. But until recently academics dismissed this idea. Historians used to say that the Druids couldn’t have used Stonehenge and all the other stone circles in Britain, because the Druids were the priests of the Celts, and the Celts only arrived in Britain in 500 BCE. Since no stone monuments were built after 1400 BCE, they pointed to the gap of nine hundred years separating the last of the stone circles from the arrival of the Druids. But in the sixties many historians changed their minds. They realized that the origin of the so-called Celtic tribes was far more complex than originally presumed, and suggested instead that early or Proto-Celts were probably in Britain as early as 2000 BCE - when the great stone monuments were still being built - and that they could well have been involved in their use or construction...read more>>>...

Glastonbury: The Ancient Isle Of Avalon Part 1

Of all the places in the world I have so far visited, the most powerful and most spiritual place is Glastonbury.

Caer Wydr, Glastonia (The Crystal City), The Isle Of Avalon to name but a few legendary names for this incredible place ...

In the coming weeks I will be focusing my attention on the legends, and the secrets, of this most powerful of places. Much of these insights will be based on my own personal experiences and teachings. So little of the truth about Glastonbury is written down. Many of the old writings regarding Avalon have been deliberately destroyed during 'The Dark Ages' ... I'm sure there are records still secretly stored in The Vatican library for example. But it they are now taken out of circulation.

I speak of revealing the LOST ORAL TRADITIONS OF AVALON. Many keepers of the Avalonian Lore are in incarnation on this planet at this time. However so few can recall who and what they were during the Golden Age. What we see now is an ancient PAGAN site claimed by The Christian Church. The ruined tower we see atop of Glastonbury Tor today is dedicated to St Michael ... it lies in ruins atop an ancient faerie magic mound. It is a hollow mound ... beneath the mound are the ruins of a fabled city - the city of glass ... one of the lost legends of Avalon. There was once a cavern entrance into the side of The Tor, but it has since been blocked up. In ancient times there was a direct passage to below the Tor.

We see The Tor surrounded by dry land today. It was once completely surrounded by a lake ... an as the ancient entrance to the underworld, an ancient feat of architecture ... it was known as THE ISLE OF AVALON. A powerful place inhabited by the true blood race. Pure descendants of Atlantis who bore the inherent gifts of prophecy and healing.

This is not myth, it is hidden knowledge. The Tor was built by a faerie race of great wisdom and knowledge. Don't think of the Faerie as the little beings with wings! We are talking of an ancient race who were probably the original inhabitants of Planer Earth. For the human race was likely to have been brought to this planet in ages past. and forced to accept it as home.

I will leave you at this point. I have so much to say about Glastonbury and its ancient powers. Be sure to watch out for the next article .... Matthew James

The Celtic Meaning Of The Gorse Tree

The Druids recognized that the gorse is voracious light seeker. They also understood it was an opportunistic plant, observing the seeds flinging off theparent (mostly on the warmest, brightest days) distancing themselves as far as possible in order to begin a new colony free to have more sun to themselves without the crowding branches of the parent nearby.

We may translate this behavior in our own lives when we feel we are being overshadowed or staunched into a certain peg hole. It may be time to leap out on our own and find our own sunny trails. When conformity becomes the norm, the gorse reminds us to always seek the higher road, the path of light.... read more>>>...

Heimdall

Hurtswic: Heimdall is the sentry and the guardians of the gods. As watchman, he guards the bridge Bifröst against the approach of the giants and other enemies of the gods.

Heimdall is the son of Óðin and nine giantesses. The nine combined to bring forth one son: Heimdall. Heimdall guards the rainbow bridge Bifröst which connects Ásgarð to Miðgarð. The gods were worried that the giants might someday try to enter Ásgarð over the bridge. They considered appointing a guardian to watch the bridge, and they hailed Heimdall as perfectly suited. His eyes are as sharp as an eagle's. His ears are keen enough to hear the grass growing in Miðgarð. And he requires less sleep than a bird....read more>>>...

Yew Tree Magic

White Dragon: The Yew tree is the last of the 20 trees in the Tree Ogham, a Celtic system in which the Druids encoded their wisdom. Each spiritual insight is represented by a tree, the first letter of which creates an alphabet system. Each letter is written as a line on, or crossing, a central stemline. These symbols can be found on the edges of some standing stones in Ireland and Wales, but they were probably, for magical and communication purposes, carved on staves of Yew. It was used as a silent communication system by the Druids, and is recorded in some medieval manuscripts.

The place of Yew, or Idho , I, was at the base of the Mercury finger (the little finger) at the line which separates it from the palm. The connection of the Mercury finger with the Yew is made by Mercury's conducting of souls to the place presided over by the death Goddess, Hecate, alias Maia, this mother, to who the Yew was sacred. The Ogham symbol could also be communicated silently by using the shin bone as the central stemline and laying five fingers horizontally across it...read more>>>...

The Yew tree, or Yew wood, the Tree ogham Idho , is the link to spiritual guidance through your ancestors, guides and guardians in the Otherworld. The Yew is here to remind us that there are other levels of existence beyond this material plane. By understanding the illusionary nature of the life we have created for ourselves, we can live our lives more consciously. Often death is fraught with a sense of loss, but the Yew can teach us to see death as a form of transformation and that it is never final.

The knowledge we gain from the Yew makes it an extremely important tree for healing. It can help us overcome our fear of our own death and, by freeing us from this fear, bring us a greater stillness in our lives. Death heralds the ending of something. It may be a physical death, or the death of our old selves, an old way of life or an old way of looking at things. Each end, each death, is a new beginning, hope, future and transformation. Sometimes things need to end or die before the new can begin, and understanding rebirth always requires seeing beyond our limitations.

The Yew can be used to assist Otherworld journeys and to increase openness of communication with the Otherworld, through an increased ability to understand and receive the messages which are being given to us by our guides and helpers. By opening ourselves to intuitively interpreting these messages, and trusting our intuitions to act on what we receive, we can make some real progress as the wheel turns and the death of one situation heralds the birth of another.

Reading The Signs

Totem animals/power animals are often indicators and oracles. Once we have discovered what our power animals are we will often see our power animals on our travels—above us in the sky; waiting for us by the side of the road or path; in our local environ.

German Scientist Proves There Is Life After Death

World News: A team of psychologists and medical doctors associated with the Technische Universität of Berlin, have announced this morning that they had proven by clinical experimentation, the existence of some form of life after death. This astonishing announcement is based on the conclusions of a study using a new type of medically supervised near-death experiences, that allow patients to be clinically dead for almost 20 minutes before being brought back to life.

This controversial process that was repeated on 944 volunteers over that last four years, necessitates a complex mixture of drugs including epinephrine and dimethyltryptamine, destined to allow the body to survive the state of clinical death and the reanimation process without damage. The body of the subject was then put into a temporary comatic state induced by a mixture of other drugs which had to be filtered by ozone from his blood during the reanimation process 18 minutes later .... read more>>>...

New research shows that sugar doesn't just feed cancer -- it causes it

S.O.T.T: A groundbreaking new study, uncovered by one of our volunteer researchers at Greenmedinfo - Jonathan Middleton - is the first of its kind to identify sugar, not only as fuel source for an already existing cancer, but as a primary driver in oncogenesis - i.e. the initiation of cancerous characteristics (phenotype) within previously healthy cells.

Published in the Journal of Cliinical Investigation and titled, Increased sugar uptake promotes oncogenesis via EPAC/RAP1 and O-GlcNAc pathways, researchers addressed a common perception (or misperception) in the cancer research community regarding sugar's relationship to cancer: namely, "increased glycolysis [sugar based metabolis] is frequently viewed as a consequence of oncogenic events that drive malignant cell growth and survival."  Contrary to this conventional view, the new study "provide[s] evidence that increased glycolytic activation itself can be an oncogenic event..." That is to say, the activation of sugar-based metabolism in a cell - driven by both the presence of increased quantities of glucose and the increase glucose receptors on the cell membrane surface (i.e. "overexpression of a glucose transporter") - drives cancer initiation.

Moreover, the study found that "Conversely, forced reduction of glucose uptake by breast cancer cells led to phenotypic reversion." In other words, interfering with sugar availability and uptake to the cell causes the cancer cell to REVERSE towards its pre-cancer structure-function (phenotype).

What this new research indicates is that sugar - of which Americans consume an astounding 160 lbs annually (imagine: 31 five-pound bags for each of us!) - is one of the primary causes of metabolic cell changes in the body consistent with the initiation and promotion of cancer. And, the research indicates that removing it from the diet, and depriving the cells of it, could REVERSE cancer...read more>>>...

Aromatherapy: Essential oils support physical and emotional well-being

S.O.T.T: Your sense of smell is your most primal sense and exerts surprising influence over your thoughts, emotions, moods, memories, and behaviors. Scents are experienced long before words. This is why it's nearly impossible to describe them with language. Olfaction is different from your other senses, processed through different pathways in your brain. For other sensations such as sounds and visual images, sensory input is delivered straight to your thalamus, which you can think of as "the big switchboard" in your head. From there, data goes out to your primary sensory cortices.

But smells are different. Before reaching your thalamus, they first wind their way through other regions of your brain, including areas controlling memory and emotion. So with scents, you have all this extra processing even before you have conscious awareness of the scent. For this reason, scents can have a powerful influence over how you think, feel, and behave. Aromatherapy allows you to harness the olfactory power of plants for healing, or simply to enhance your state of well-being...read more>>>...

Who Really Built Stonehenge and Why? Part 2

THE MYSTERIOUS CONSTRUCTION OF STONEHENGE
However, as I stated earlier, there is no proof to what purpose Stonehenge served. Its creation remains a mystery, as are the construction methods to move, cut and place in position the mighty stones.

The endearing, but slightly crazy, scientific theory regarding the construction method goes like this: ‘Somehow the enormous stones were first transported to the Salisbury plains. The stones must have been too heavy for simple timber rollers, so they might have been transported on sledges along greased tracks of wood, pulled by ropes made from the plant fibres of lime bark, soaked in water for weeks. Modern engineering simulations have surmised that the massive uprights must have been hauled into place then tipped, using stone counterweights, into position. In order to fix the 9 ton lintels into place, the most likely method of construction would have to have been via the use of an earth ramp piled up against the stone uprights. The lintel would then have to have been hauled by ropes to get them into position.’

It defies logic the level of understanding and technology that was required to construct the Stonehenge architecture. The lintels are all perfectly horizontal, yet the ground on which the stones are built is sloping. The Stonehenge builders will have employed the use of advanced carpentry techniques, as the stone lintels are dressed with mortises which are a perfect fit onto the tenons located at the top of each supporting sarcen stone.

The tongues, which are like toggle joints, link each lintel within the outer circle to its neighbour. Amazing construction!

I cannot accept that the construction of Stonehenge was with the basic ‘Neolithic’ tools that the scientific world would have us believe. The advanced level of construction shown in the Stonehenge architecture is on a par with architectural construction in today’s buildings. The ingenuity of the builders is very impressive. Their understanding of the mathematics and astrology linked to Stonehenge is more advanced, I would say, that what we understand today.

Was it Neolithic Man that built Stonehenge or someone else? If it WAS Neolithic Man who created Stonehenge then they were much more advanced than current science and history gives them credit for. If it wasn’t Neolithic Man who created Stonehenge, then who was it?

WHO BUILT STONEHENGE AND WHY?
In my opinion, I would say that Neolithic Man was more advanced than science makes out, plus there is likely to have been some kind of ET intervention in order to create such an incredible feat of architecture. You only have to walk amongst the stones, and within the energy field of what remains of the Stonehenge complex, to experience for yourself the difference between the Stonehenge vibration and that of the ‘outside world’. It still retains its unique and magical energy.

I had the privilege to walk within Stonehenge, in the mid 1990’s, undertaking a workshop with my old friend David Icke, and it was during this workshop that I felt for myself the energy of Stonehenge. I found that the sarcen stones had a clear and distinctive vibration. There was a barely audible humming sound emanating from the stones. The energy field within Stonehenge felt very ‘expectant and responsive’ like it was anticipating a sound, a word or a chant to be activated. During the workshop we meditated, drummed and chanted. We worked with the energy field of Stonehenge, and I have to say the experience was quite breathtaking as there clearly is SOMETHING magical and healing about the Stonehenge complex.

It is not the stones themselves, but the energy field and the atmosphere created by the positioning and sizing of the stones. No doubt the Preseli Bluestones were chosen for this purpose.

My own theory, for what it’s worth, is that Stonehenge was built by the descendants of the builders of the Great Pyramids of Giza. There is a strong connection between Neolithic Britain and the Pharaohs of Egypt. Many of the latter families of Egypt are known to have fled to Britannia/Albion before, and around, the Neolithic Period of Britain. Stonehenge was built by advanced technology, probably beyond our own. The technology is likely to have employed lasers for cutting the stones, and also a gravitational or vibrational technology employed to lift the stones. Modern day science is only now touching on these technologies. So it’s perhaps a case of us rediscovering a technology we once had at our disposal? A technology taught to us by an advanced culture?

The Stonehenge complex is likely to have been a great healing centre which will have been known throughout the ancient world. The fact that the Preseli Bluestone have a strong connection with the electrical impulses created by the human body, and in particular the heart, suggests strongly the intention of the stones. I perceive Stonehenge as a generator of healing energy. Its energy field will have had a considerable effect on the physical bodies of those who entered the complex. The more people who entered the stones, the more powerful the energy field. I feel it is also a receiver and transmitter of the energy fields that are ‘summoned’ or created by those who used the Stonehenge stones.

Human history fails to record, and report, these ancient megalithic sites for one reason and one reason only – their existence has been deliberately deleted from the historic records because some agency does not wish us to know the true history of these sites. It is a sad fact, and one that means we are never likely to know what sites like Stonehenge are really for. Stonehenge has been a significant site in human history, its open and circular shape indicates it is some kind of advanced electrical circuitry linked to the earth plane, as are so many of the other stone circles. Are they directly linked in some way to the Egyptian and Mayan pyramids? Do they generate energy which are then housed in the pyramids? Are we ever likely to know? Maybe … but only when this planet has been freed from the hidden tyranny that controls the Earth.
