[Natural News]: Western Australia (WA) Premier Mark McGowan announced new Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) measures preventing unvaccinated residents from moving. He added that the new rules targeting the unvaccinated “will not be removed any time soon.”
The premier announced these new measures on Jan. 13, which he described as the broadest proof of vaccination requirements in the nation. “Effective Jan. 31, we will be expanding proof of vaccination requirements to a wider range of venues,” he said. According to McGowan, the expanded requirements will help curb the spread of COVID-19 because the state has “seen [it] work in other jurisdictions.”
By the end of January 2022, unvaccinated Australians will be barred from entering public and private hospitals and aged care facilities. All hospitality venues and food and beverage establishments – including restaurants, cafes, bars, pubs, clubs, taverns, night clubs, liquor stores and fast food outlets – will also be inaccessible to the unvaccinated. McGowan clarified that unvaccinated Australians can still dine at roadhouses and service stations, and avail of restaurant takeaway.
Entertainment venues including gaming and gambling centers, museums, cinemas, theaters, amusement parks, zoos and live music venues will also ban unvaccinated residents. The same also applies to major sports stadiums, gyms, fitness centers and health studios.
Prior to the expanded measures announced on Jan. 13, WA had already mandated proof of vaccination
for so-called “higher-risk venues and events.” Events such as music
festivals and others where large numbers of people could congregate fell
