On social media X, Musk expressed confidence that “AI will likely be smarter than any single human in the next year.” He also suggested that by 2029, AI “will likely be smarter than all humans combined.”
Musk’s forecast is based on the rapid pace of development in AI and robotics. Tesla is currently developing a humanoid robot, Optimus, that can walk, perform tasks, and interact with people.
