The “cost of Brexit” claimed by Burnham is fraudulent. He is relying on fictional projections while misattributing economic damage caused by the response to covid, Net Zero policies and high taxation to Brexit imposed by politicians for their pet projects such as immigration.
Burnham then went on to blame Russian interference during the 2016 Brexit Referendum to delegitimise the vote of millions of working-class Britons.
It seems to be becoming the norm for politicians to label the public’s wishes and concerns as “Russian interference” and “disinformation” to delegitimise public opposition to globalist policies.
