Odin The Shaman

The man that sits atop the worlds
Knower, seer of all that is
Wiser even then the sages
Clarity and insights are his gifts

But he can take you deeper
Travel with him far below
Let him lead you farther down
Down so far only you remain
He will leave you forever changed.

By Arteal

When we think of Odin we often see him as a great figure on a throne surrounded by gold. We see him as the Great War God of the Viking Age sitting high up in the heavens, but this is not where his story began. Let us turn back to his origins.

Odin began as a great storm giant called Wode, which translates as Rage. He assembled the souls of the dead. He was not widely worshipped, but he was greatly feared. Odin changed as the people who worshipped him changed.

He became the Old Man with the grey beard who wore a long blue/black cloak and a matching long brimmed hat that caused a shadow to fall over his face and conceal his missing eye. He was seen as the old wise man and became connected to the harvest. In a province in Holland a corn man was made at harvest and left out in the field to honour Odin, the Old Man.

As the culture changed and Vikings rose in power so did Odin change and also rise in power. He dethroned the High God Tyr to become God of all the Norse deities. Tyr was the original God of War, but Odin became the High God of War and Battle with the Viking Age. He gives the gift of battle frenzy and berserker rage, which takes the warrior out of themselves and capable of greater strength and invulnerable to wounds.

It has also been suggested that after the ruling class adopted Odin he was then tainted with corruption and treachery, which led to his reputation of not being trust worthy. Of course, this side of Odin is most often seen when an oath to him is broken initially.

There is one myth that is the strongest indicator of Odin's status as shaman. Odin pierced his foot with his spear, Gungnir, and hung from Yggdrasil for nine nights without food or drink. Through this ritual he was given the runes. Even though he was given the runes he was not given the knowledge to use them. Through the sacrifice of his eye to the Well of Mimir Odin was given the knowledge of the runes and the ability to use them.

Odin faces death in the experience and gains knowledge. This is common among many shamanic cultures around the world where one must first face death and experience sacrifice before the gifts are given. "He [/---/ obtains] the flash or illumination - a mysterious light which the shaman suddenly feels in the interior of his head. He is now able to discern things hidden from other human beings (Hunkin 1987: 678)."

Shamans throughout time have been known to travel to other worlds. This is a gift of Odin, who can travel to the other worlds on his eight legged horse Sleipnir. Odin is the only God of the Norse who is able to travel to all nine worlds.

Like most Shamans Odin has a strong connection to animals that he is not only bonded with, but they also give him power. We have already seen his connection to his horse Sleipnir and how this connection empowers Odin. He also has two ravens Huginn (thoughtful) and Muninn (mindful). They fly forth each day and bring back information for Odin. There is nothing they do not see and therefore nothing Odin does not see. His two wolves are known as Geri and Freki (both mean greedy).

Odin is also know for shape shifting, a skill used by many shamans. Odin could change himself. Then, his body lay sleeping as if dead, then he became a bird or wild animal, a fish or dragon, and journeyed in an instant to far-off countries, on his own missions, or those of other people.

Shamans in many cultures are know for there connection with the dead. Odin, from the beginning, has a history with the souls of those that have passed. He is known to send the Valkyries into battle and collect the best of the fallen warriors to bring back to his hall in Valhalla. He is depicted as welcoming them as they arrive. He once appeared in person to bring a king back to Valhalla..

Odin is not only one of the Gods of the Aesir, but he is considered Chief God of the Aesir. Frigga is Odin's wife and their son is Baldar. Odin's half brother if Loki. Some write that Odin had two brothers Vili and Ve. While others write Odin had three aspects Odin, Vili, Ve which represent warrior, shaman and wanderer.

His personal sigil is the Valknot. His main element is air and secondary element is water (remember the raging storm giant). His sacred numbers are 3 and 9. His day of the week is Wednesday, originally Wodensday. Odin is invoked for wisdom, inspiration, occult knowledge, power, invisibility, war, healing, revenge and cursing.

Runes of Odin are Ansur, Gefu, Wyn, Eihwaz, Othel, Daeg, and Gar (Odin's spear).Ehwaz is the rune of Odin's horse Sleipnir.

He is known by Wodanaz (primitive Germanic), Wodan (Dutch), Woden (English), Wotan (German) and Odin (Norse).

McCann apartment was rented out to four different families BEFORE police forensic testing

The holiday apartment from which Madeleine McCann vanished was rented out for two months before police sealed it off.

Four different groups of tourists were allowed to stay in the flat before forensics officers attempted to take blood and DNA samples from the rooms.

The resulting DNA analysis was inconclusive and laboratory scientists said samples were badly degraded and contaminated.

Potentially crucial evidence from the two-bedroom apartment in the Ocean Club complex may have been lost forever.

The gaffe was revealed in the Maddie case files made public this week. It was one of a series of blunders by Portuguese police, who were finally forced to shelve the investigation last month because of a lack of evidence.

Their slapdash approach to sealing off apartment 5A, the crime scene, is in stark contrast to the effort they made to link Kate and Gerry McCann to their daughter's disappearance.

It lay empty for a month but cleaners were allowed inside and it was then rented to holidaymakers until August.

The two-bedroom flat was only permanently sealed off when specialist sniffer dogs were taken inside in August and supposedly detected minute traces of blood and the 'scent of death'.

Their reaction prompted forensics officers to take further samples from the flat, three months after the events they were investigating.

Details of all those who stayed in 5A after the McCanns were revealed in the case files.

On June 12, a couple from Liverpool moved in for a week, followed by a family of four from Falkirk in Scotland.

Next, a couple from New Barnet, Hertfordshire, rented the flat and on July 19 a family of three from Leicester moved in for a week.

It was not clear if they were told of the flat's history, but the apartment was the focus for much of the early media attention and was shown in newspaper photographs and television reports around the world. (Daily Mail Saturday 9th August 2008)

Tarot Card of The Day

After one very energised week, it’s time for some new beginnings, new growth, birth, etc. This is a fertile and promising time in life. In fact, it’s a very promising time for change for the entire planet. The question is what are you doing with the energy that is available?

The up side of this card is that relationships bloom, businesses prosper, you have a deeper understanding of your life and where it is going provided you work WITH the energy and don’t resist the changes. The energy today promises that anything started will bear fruit -- a business, a relationship, plans for a vacation.

The down side to this card is the opposite -- things begin to wilt on the vine. Your travel plans may be postponed or delayed, relationships get sticky, all you understand is that you have the reverse Midas touch. If you feel this happening, see if you can let go of your resistance.

Attitude is all today. Keep yours up and light and positive and today will be a great day to remember. Keep it down and cranky and don’t say I didn’t warn you! Make the best of a great day! (Sue Yarmey)

Old Norse Mythology

The Old Norse Mythology is rather fascinating. The ones acquainted with the world of Tolkien can to some extent recognize themselves when dealing with this mythology. According to the old tales a man with the name of Gylfe, king of Svithiod, once entered the home of the gods and there he was told how the world begun. He met with three beings which had the names: Hög (High), Tredje (Third) and jämnhög (Even Height or something like that ;-).

They told him how the world had been created and how everything was done. In the beginning there was the abyss (Ginnungagapet), North of this there was Nifelheim, the world of cold where Cold and Darkness rules. Frosty mists rose from the cold well of Hvergelmer. In the south there was the hot Muspelheim, a place where the being Surte ruled with a flaming sword. The mists from Hvergelmer formed the frozen stream of Elivågor which flowed in to the Ginnungagap and filled it with ice. But at the same time flares from Muspelheim fell into the abyss and the falling drops which became the result of the mix of flares and ice formed two giant beings: A cow with the name 'Audhumbla' and a giant named 'Ymer'. Ymer got his food from the cow by means of four mouths which he used to milk the cows four nipples. Audhumbla in turn lived on the white frost ont the rocks.

Her warm breath created a man called Bure wich by some mysterious way managed to get hold of a wife (it is not described how) and they where the first of the Asa dynasty of which Oden, Vile and Ve would be the greatest.

Ymer on his side created several different creatures. From his left arm a lovely couple sprung, from which the three fates Urd, Verdandi, Skuld (Guilt) and the wise Mimer came. His feet on the other hand created a three headed monster wich became the ancestor of the Rimtusarnas evil giant family.

Oden, wich destiny had choosen to become the one who would fullfill the creation, killed the giant Ymer (with help from his two brothers) and used his body as a ground for the new world. His blood became the sea (Where all the Rimtusarnas but one drowned). His skull became the sky. The bones in his sceleton became mountains, his brain the clouds and his tissues was grinded in the great mill 'Grottekvarnen', around whose main axis the universe turned, to become the dirt. The mill was driven by the giantesses Fenja and Menja. Ymers Eyebrows became a wall against the inhabitable surroundings. This new world was called Midgård.

The world down under was divided into three kingdoms each one with its own well. Hvergelmer, Mimers well and Urda well. From the Ginnungagap a large ash with the name 'Ygdrasil' grow. The branches of Ygdrasil covered all the then known world. In Hvergelmer the dragon Nidh”g lies and gnaws on the rots of the tree. Mimers well on the other hand is the well of wisedom, guarded by Mimer, Oden once gave his right eye for a drink of the water in this well.

At Urdawell which is guarded by the three fates the gods have their conferences each day. They ride daily over the bridge Bifrost, a bridge which shimmers in all the colours of the rainbow and is watched by the god Heimdal (also called Rig), nine mothers and nine sisters son and beholder of Gjallarhornet which is nordic tales last trump . Heimdal sleeps lighter than the bird, sees one hundred traveldays in each direction from his castle Himinbjorg and has such sharp hearing that he can hear the grass and the wool grow.

Once when Oden and his brothers where out taking a walk at the shore of the sea in Midgård, he found two Sceptring (?) trees with the names Ask and Embla. They set them free from the earth and gave them blood, power of motion, intelligence, will, fantasy and spirit. They where formed after their own appearence. From this couple the whole humanity evolved. The fate Urd gives every human a being called Fylgia at birth . This being are to follow her throughout his/her life.

Odens wife is called Frigg, and his sons ar called Tor and Balder. Tor is the strongest of the gods and is allways in war with the giants. He is armed with his 'strength belt' Megingjord and the hammer 'Mjölner' which like a boomerang allways return to his hand after a throw. He is travelling through space in a wagon which is pulled by the goats 'Tandgniostr' and 'Tandgrisner'. About his fights with the giants there is a lot of fascinating stories which have the character of folklore tales and which most certainly never have been accepted by the believing. As the god of thunder he enjoyed respectfull worshiping from the believers which can be proved by among other things the surviving names on villages (Thorsvik) and in other words like 'tordön' (The sound of lightning), torsdag (Thursday). New Wiltshire Crop Circle -'Intriguing' and 'Infinite'

Sighted 8th August 2008 at Milk Hill, near Alton Barnes, Wiltshire.

The circle is clearly intriguing with its figure of eight design (a symbol of infinity). It seems to indicate, or commemorate, a cyclic process or a cycle of events .... whoever the creator is (human or non human?), has a definitive 'message' to report. The central structure also adds to the intrigue.

A Quick Insight ...

With the latest revelations in mind ... a quick insight to 'assess' the overall feeling and direction of the information which is currently within the tabloids, bringing the saga back into the public eye ...

It needs to be established if the shop keeper saw any sign of the distinctive eye pattern. This would serve as the only tangible proof that the Amsterdam sighting was 'kosher'. Surely if the shop keeper had a conversation with the young girl, there must have been some eye contact?

And, though the Belgian 'sighting' are being linked with pedophiles (again) ... they should not be completely dismissed. Belgium did figure once before in the mystery. However, linked to pedophiles - NO, NO, NO! Belgian faces - yes. There was an early link explored by ALITD with regard to faces in Belgium. At the time there was a distinct sense that there was indeed a Belgian link (within the press agencies). Around the time of the 'towel on the waste ground' ... these paths could perhaps be retraced.

And, though the style and the frequency of the Daily Merlin Insights might have changed (due to time restraints) ... the review of 'channelled information' is still the same. A fleeting sense of a watching couple observing all the passing 'boats at sea' ... witnessing the rising and the falling of the tides of emotion. A feeling of achievement or fulfillment at the end of a long and bitter journey.

Where there is a will, there is a way.

This can still prove to have a favourable outcome. No reason to give up all hope as hope is not lost ... the road has been misguided by clever hands. By clever minds. The path may be hidden but the outcome can still prove to be favourable.

The Two of Weapons talks of a battle of wills and a struggle between two sides to possess the flaming sword. The conflict continues. That elusive contest of wills which is somehow kept hidden from the public eyes. However, it has been sensed time and time again.

The Maker of Spheres juggles four spheres. Holds them in a perfect pattern as he watches the observer's every move. The worker bees flit around this enigmatic figure undertaking the errands they are instructed to follow. Their workings weave the tapestry which the public sea. Behind the scenes all sides to the mystery are controlled perfectly.

Behind the Maker a young child with what appears to be dark hair can just be seen on the edge of a dark wood. It seems this young child is once more coming back into view. The tapestry currently created by the Maker has the young child in its design. On the earth plane, the tapestry appears to resemble a vale of old and ancient trees. However, this image is perhaps best taken as being symbolic. The Maker appears to be a youngster of an influential family or group. He seems to be trying to make his mark. The spheres of influence at his finger tips have created the imagery which is around this strange situation ...

The young man is cloaked/disguised/bedecked with purpose ... in two worlds. To him all of his work is a ritual to suit a higher purpose. He is free from conscience and cares not how any suffers in this. His way is clear and what is being done must be done to clear out the old trees to make way for the new ones being planted ...

The Wonderful Turtle

A Lakota Legend

Near to a Chippewa village lay a large lake, and in this lake there lived an enormous turtle. This was no ordinary turtle, as he would often come out of his home in the lake and visit with his Indian neighbors. He paid the most of his visits to the head chief, and on these occasions would stay for hours, smoking and talking with him.

The chief, seeing that the turtle was very smart and showed great wisdom in his talk, took a great fancy to him, and whenever any puzzling subject came up before the chief, he generally sent for Mr. Turtle to help him decide.

One day there came a great misunderstanding between different parties of the tribe, and so excited became both sides that it threatened to cause bloodshed. The chief was unable to decide for either faction, so he said, "I will call Mr. Turtle. He will judge for you."

Sending for the turtle, the chief vacated his seat for the time being, until the turtle should hear both sides, and decide which was in the right. The turtle came, and taking the chief's seat, listened very attentively to both sides, and thought long before he gave his decision. After thinking long and studying each side carefully, he came to the conclusion to decide in favor of both. This would not cause any hard feelings. So he gave them a lengthy speech and showed them where they were both in the right, and wound up by saying:

"You are both in the right in some ways and wrong in others. Therefore, I will say that you both are equally in the right."

When they heard this decision, they saw that the turtle was right, and gave him a long cheer for the wisdom displayed by him. The whole tribe saw that had it not been for this wise decision there would have been a great shedding of blood in the tribe. So they voted him as their judge, and the chief, being so well pleased with him, gave to him his only daughter in marriage.

The daughter of the chief was the most beautiful maiden of the Chippewa nation, and young men from other tribes traveled hundreds of miles for an opportunity to make love to her, and try to win her for a wife. It was all to no purpose. She would accept no one, only him whom her father would select for her. The turtle was very homely, but as he was prudent and wise, the father chose him, and she accepted him.

The young men of the tribe were very jealous, but their jealousy was all to no purpose. She married the turtle. The young men would make sport of the chief's son-in-law. They would say to him: "How did you come to have so flat a stomach?" The turtle answered them, saying:

"My friends, had you been in my place, you too would have flat stomachs. I came by my flat stomach in this way: The Chippewas and Sioux had a great battle, and the Sioux, too numerous for the Chippewas, were killing them off so fast that they had to run for their lives. I was on the Chippewa side and some of the Sioux were pressing five of us, and were gaining on us very fast. Coming to some high grass, I threw myself down flat on my face, and pressed my stomach close to the ground, so the pursuers could not see me. They passed me and killed the four I was with. After they had gone back, I arose and lo! my stomach was as you see it now. So hard had I pressed to the ground that it would not assume its original shape again."

After he had explained the cause of his deformity to them, they said: "The Turtle is brave. We will bother him no more." Shortly after this the Sioux made an attack upon the Chippewas, and every one deserted the village. The Turtle could not travel as fast as the rest and was left behind. It being an unusually hot day in the fall, the Turtle grew very thirsty and sleepy. Finally scenting water, he crawled towards the point from whence the scent came, and coming to a large lake jumped in and had a bath, after which he swam towards the center and dived down, and finding some fine large rocks at the bottom, he crawled in among them and fell asleep. He had his sleep out and arose to the top.

Swimming to shore he found it was summer. He had slept all winter. The birds were singing, and the green grass and leaves gave forth a sweet odor.

He crawled out and started out looking for the Chippewa camp. He came upon the camp several days after he had left his winter quarters, and going around in search of his wife, found her at the extreme edge of the village. She was nursing her baby, and as he asked to see it, she showed it to him. When he saw that it was a lovely baby and did not resemble him in any respect, he got angry and went off to a large lake, where he contented himself with catching flies and insects and living on seaweed the remainder of his life.

The Laboratory Of Life

There is a popular misconception that we might be able to just wish our dreams into being. Maybe on some other level of consciousness this is the case, but here on earth what we need to do is take action in our lives. Vision is an important companion to our efforts, but it can’t accomplish anything all by itself. When we focus on what we want and ask for what we want, we are initiating a conversation with the universe. Our desires, passionately defined and expressed, bring about valuable and relevant opportunities, which we then respond to by either taking or leaving them.

Many of us are afraid to step out into the world and make things happen, and so we hang back, dreaming and waiting and watching. There are times in life when this is the right thing to do, but this phase of inaction must eventually give way to its opposite if we are to build our dreams into a reality. This can be really scary, and we may fail and struggle, but that’s okay because that’s what we’re supposed to do. Waiting for everything to be perfect before we act, or waiting for what we want to be handed to us, leaves us waiting forever. No one expects us to be perfect, so the best thing we can do for ourselves is to get out there and take action on our dreams.

One of the hardest parts about having a vision is that when we test it in the laboratory of life, it often comes out looking completely different than what we had in mind or, worse, it doesn’t come out at all. If you read the life stories of people who have brought their dreams into reality, you will hear many stories about this experience. But you will also hear about hard work, taking action, perseverance, and, finally, the successful birthing of a dream.

Practice Yourself Exercise II - The Hidden Image

Below is 'the needle in the haystack'. The impossible which was asked of budding remote viewers who may have chosen to try this exercise. A common everyday tomato was the image which I'd 'broadcast' via the posting last week ... so who got it right then?

Watch out for the next Practice Yourself exercise on remote viewing. As previously mentioned it will comprise a montage of 8 images. One of which will be the image 'broadcast' ... the image which you as the remote viewer need to correctly choose ...

The Seven of Swords

The Lord of Futility represents the times in life where we feel too overwhelmed and doubtful to act decisively toward our problems. It will usually appear when there are difficult decisions to be made, or when situations arise that require we take action. Because we are weary, feeling over-stressed and helpless, we do nothing. As a result, of course, things inevitably get worse.

Sometimes the card will come up because we have such a poor view of ourselves. We start to believe that nothing we do could possibly make a difference to the unhappy circumstances we find ourselves in. If not challenged, this attitude will lead us into being poor-little-me's, when we adopt a victim mentality, and secretly expect everybody else to sort things out for us.

When feeling the effects of the Lord of Futility, we are often ready to make unsuitable compromises in order to try to ease the pressure we experience. We can be more easily impressed by other people's opinions, seeking to please them - often at our own expense. We vacillate, unable to stick to any decision we make. And all of this does nothing much more than increase our problems.

Neither of these options is viable, if we are to live a happy love-filled life, is it? So when this card appears in a reading for ourselves, we need to be prepared to commit ourselves to a course of action and then follow through. Even if it transpires that the choice we make could have been bettered, any choice is better than no choice at all, when the alternative is total inertia.

Often fear will be a big issue - fear of doing something wrong, fear of taking responsibility, fear of being even more hurt and feeling worse than we already do. In the end, we simply have to take our courage in both hands and, like The Fool, take that leap forward. The fact that we have acted will help us to break from of the Lord of Futility and to move on.

'I Just Wanna Be Loved'

A classic track by 'HOuse of LOrds'

Pictured: The couple 'spotted in Amsterdam with Maddie lookalike'

These are the first pictures of a couple seen with the little girl who told a shopkeeper in Holland 'My name is Maddie, they took me from my holiday'.

The artist's impressions were created with the help of Anna Stam who saw the girl in her party shop in Amsterdam days after Madeleine McCann vanished.

The sketches, first published in the Daily Mirror, show a swarthy man aged 35-40 with a moustache and a woman in her 40s with brown hair.

The man was speaking in Portuguese and the woman in French, according to the paper.

Ms Stam told the Mirror: 'They fit the faces I remember. I just hope its not too late and we can do some good.'

Her report was one of a number of potential sightings that emerged in the official police files released this week. The MCanns are now treating it as a priority. (Daily Mail 8th August 2008)

Another Crop Circle

Sighted at Cherhill near Calne in Wiltshire on 7th August 2008.

Appearing a little like a 'spinning blade' with 8 sharpened talons at each of the ends with 8 identical markings around the central hub. That's 8 + 8. Adding them together and then adding one to represent the central hub it makes 17. Now adding 1 + 7 = 8. That's 888 ... with today being 08/08/08 its just some coincidence I deliberately found on this circle. A circle I have nicknamed 'the ninja blade' for obvious reasons!

Woden, Odin and the Runes

On a chalk down, in the south of England, a dark figure stands in the shadows, watching; shrouded in a deathly black cloak, his face hidden by a wide brimmed hat, revealing only one wisdom filled eye and his unkempt grey beard. In his hand he carries an ancient spear, carved with strange angular symbols, (Runes). In the distance, two Wolves bay and a pair of Ravens fly across the face of a full moon above him. He watches with interest the small settlement below, then strides past the gallows on that hillside, and merges into the darkness of the night. To any Anglo-Saxon of that period this description could only of been that of Woden.

To our ancestors he was many things; God of the Dead and of the gallows; Lord of the Wild Hunt; God of Wisdom, Magic and Master of the Runes; shaman and shapeshifter; cunning, tricky and devious; and ancestor of the Theign's and many of the Royal Houses of the early Angles, Saxons and Jutes. He is probably the most enigmatic of the old Gods and probably one of the best known aspects of the 'SkyFather' figure in Anglo-Saxon England. We know of Wodens coming to England from many seperate sources, most numerous are place names.

Woden was probably the most widely known of the Anglo-Saxon Gods and the naming of many of Englands old settlements and geographical landmarks are testimonials to this: Wodnesbeorg (Woden's Grave); Wodnesdene (Woden's Valley); Wodesgeat (Woden's gap). All in close proximity to each other in Wiltshire, with Wansdyke (Woden's dyke) close by, indicate a possible cult of Woden in that area; Wednesbury (Woden's earth works) and Wednesfield (Woden's field), in Staffordshire; Wensley (Woden's Grove), Derbyshire; Wodnesfeld and Wedynsfeld (Both translated as Woden's field), in Essex; Wodenslawe (Woden's mound), Bedfordshire; Woodnesborough (Woden's mound), Kent.

There are also place names using Woden's other common name Grim ('Masked one'): Grimsditch, in at least eleven counties, including Berkshire, Cambridgeshire, Cheshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Middlesex, Nottinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey and Wiltshire; the name Grimesworne, occurs in Essex, Herefordshire and Warwickshire; Grimsbury, in Berkshire and Oxfordshire; Grim's Hill, a hillfort in Gloucestshire; and finally Grimspound, a Bronze Age settlement in Devon. The list is continuous. However, one of the most interesting archeological debates in recent times, involving Woden, has been regarding the Long Man of Wilmington, a chalk carving on a hillside in Sussex.

Two archeologists (Mr Christoper Hawkes and Mrs Sonia Chadwick Hawkes) have theorised that the Long Man of Wilmington is a representation of Woden. They base this theory on its similarities with the Finglesham belt buckle. A bronze piece found in an Anglo-Saxon Cemetery during excavation in 1964. The figure on the buckle is in the same pose, and bears a striking resemblance to the chalk carving.

So why were so many ancient features of the English landscape named after him? Was it because he was the most highly revered of the Anglo-Saxon Deities or was it because he was the most widely known? (Read More ....)

Tarot Card of the Day

What has traditionally been known as the World card points to the presiding intelligence, called "Sophia," or Wisdom, which upholds life on this and all worlds. A more precise title for this card might be "the Soul of the World," also applicable as a symbol of personal empowerment and freedom. In most Tarot decks it is a female figure that has become our standard World image. She originates in Hebrew, Gnostic and Alchemical lore, and stands between heaven and earth as the Cosmic Mother of Souls, the Wife of God and our protector from the karmic forces we have set loose upon the Earth in our immaturity and ignorance.

Where the Empress energy secures and fertilizes our terrestrial lives, the goddess of The World invites us into cosmic citizenship -- once we come to realize our soul's potential for it. Just as the Chariot stands for success in achieving a separate Self, and Temperance represents achievement of mental and moral health, the World card announces the awakening of the soul's Immortal Being, accomplished without the necessity of dying.

This card, like the Sun, is reputed to have no negative meaning no matter where or how it appears. If the Hermetic axiom is "Know Thyself", this image represents what becomes known when the true nature of Self is followed to creative freedom and its ultimate realization.

Latest Crop Circle

... Alas there is no clear aerial shot of this circle, so the preliminary sketch is all we have to go on with regard to the pattern ...

The crop circle was discovered next to a canal about a mile from Pewsey near Sunny Hill Wiltshire on 6th August 2008 .... I await the aerial view of this latest 'wonder'.

Who found New Zealand first?

A skull found on the banks of a river near Wellington has turned out to be that of a European woman who died more than 260 years ago — a finding that has raised serious doubt whether Captain James Cook was the first westerner to step foot on the shores of New Zealand in 1769.

The discovery was made by a boy walking his dog four years back on the banks of a river in Wairarapa region of the North Island, an area settled by Europeans only after the establishment of a colony by the New Zealand Company in 1840. “It’s a real mystery, it really is. We have got the problem of how did this woman get here?

“Who was she? I recommended they do carbon date on it and of course they came up with that amazing result,” British newspaper the Daily Telegraph quoted Robin Watt, a Forensic Anthropologist who was called in by police who probed the discovery, as saying.

John Kershaw, the local coroner, said police at first thought they had a murder inquiry on their hands. “One of the reasons some work was done on the skull was because it had a number of puncture wounds. We don’t know how this lady met her death, although the historian we used indicated drowning was a reasonable guess. This (examination) suggests that the deceased may have been alive somewhere in the South Wairarapa in or about 1742,” Kershaw said.

The inquest also heard recently that the skull was definitely not Maori — the only race known to have inhabited New Zealand in the 18th century — and almost certainly of European origin. (Canberra Times)

Ronaldo bows to Sir Alex and commits himself to United - for next season

Cristiano Ronaldo finally pledged his immediate future to Manchester United - but perhaps only for one more season.

In an interview with Portuguese newspaper Publico published today, Ronaldo reveals that although he still wants to play for Real Madrid some time in the future, he will remain a United player for this campaign.

He praises manager Sir Alex Ferguson, who on Monday insisted that Ronaldo would be staying, with the player's words putting an end to the summer's longest running transfer saga.

Ronaldo said: 'Sir Alex Ferguson heard my reasons, I heard his and we have an agreement that the best for both parties would be if I stay. Therefore, I can confirm that next season I will play in Manchester United. For a while, my desire was that Manchester would accept Real Madrid's bid. To say the opposite would be cheating people and my own conscience.'

The news made it a double boost for Ferguson and United, with Wayne Rooney making a faster than expected recovery from the bug he picked up during the pre-season trip to Nigeria. He may be fit for the season's opener at home to Newcastle on Sunday week. (Daily Mail)

DNA Tests On King Tutankhamun's Foetuses

Sky News (Thur 7th August 2008) says: Egyptian scientists are carrying out DNA tests on two mummified foetuses found in the tomb of King Tutankhamun to determine whether they are the young pharaoh's children.

The two tiny female foetuses, between five to seven months in gestational age, were found in King Tut's tomb in Luxor when the tomb was disovered by Howard Carter in 1922.

Zahi Hawass, head of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, said the DNA samples would be compared to each other and to King Tut's mummy. The testing is part of a wider programme to test the DNA of hundreds of mummies to determine their identities and their family relations.

Mr Hawass said the tests could help determine Tutankhamun's family lineage, which has long been a source of mystery.

Scholars believe that at the age of 12, Tutankhamun married Ankhesenamun - a daughter of Akhenaten by his better known wife Nefertiti - but the couple had no surviving children.

There has been no archaeological indication that Tut, who died around the age of 19 under mysterious circumstances over 3,000 years ago, left any offspring.

The council said that if the tiny mummies are unrelated to Tut, they may have been placed in his tomb to allow him to "live as a newborn in the afterlife".

Ashraf Selim, a radiologist and member of the Egyptian team, said the tests could take several months. So far, the team has carried out CT scans on the two fetuses and taken samples for DNA tests.

Quote For the Day

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside all people.

He said, 'My son, the battle is between two 'wolves' inside us all. One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.'

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: 'Which wolf wins?'

The old Cherokee simply replied, 'The one you feed.'

The Amsterdam Sighting?

Like Matt I strongly believe this was a genuine sighting. Why??
I will tell you why I think so.

Around January 2007 I had this strange dream. I was aware of 3 people in spirit (one being my mother - one of the Two Old Dears by the way) and they were showing me a map of Europe. I had no idea why. But in this map, I was shown from the left of the map, to follow a pink highlighted line across to an area which I felt was Germany/Holland/Poland. At this point the map was circled in the same pink and I was told 'Remember Port Good' Now Port Good meant nothing, still doesn't. But this dream bugged me for weeks and weeks mainly because I really felt that it was not a dream but the 3 in spirit were really there in the room that night and showing me this map.

Long after Madeleine went missing in May 07, I still didn't connect this dream to Madeleine.
But when you look at a map of Europe, the area shown to me was Portugal leading upwards and east to Holland/Germany/ Poland? It was then I thought that maybe, just maybe there is some connection to this dream to missing Madeleine.

Later in the year, we received a phone call from a long lost friend (I will call Linda!). She had moved back to Auckland from Hamilton and had lost contact with us for many many months.
She was not aware of Matt's blog or anything he had been writing about to do with Madeleine.
I was surprised and pleased to hear from her again after such a long time.

Now Linda is a medium, not trained but she was always trying to escape 'the voices' which drove her mad! But of course she never could. She explained that she had been to lunch with another friend of ours, when out of the blue, a voice in spirit started telling her things about Madeleine and to contact Matt, which she did the next day.

She said that spirit were telling her that Matt was not wrong and had to keep on with it, but there would be many changes to this case going to happen (this was prior to the McCanns being made arguido's) but she was totally 100% sure that Madeleine was alive and that she saw boats/canals. She even had to ask me 'what's that place called in Holland where the canals are'... So I said 'Amsterdam"....
"Yes" she said "that's it"....Amsterdam"........

I contacted Linda yesterday and plan to chat with her on the phone soon. But pleased to hear that she is now developing her mediumship and learning how to switch on and off the voices, and she is being trained by none other than Kelvin Cruickshank, the NZ medium off "Sensing Murder". Matt & I have seen Kelvin live and he is totally brilliant. So she is being trained by one of the best.

There have also been other things I have received from spirit (which I prefer not to say) which connect to Amsterdam. So, in my opinion, I do believe Amsterdam holds some significance.

Tap, Tap.....

Shortly after going to bed last night, around 30-40 minutes or so...I was woken (I wasn't in a deep sleep by this time) by the tap running in our en-suite bathroom.

Being a typical woman, I nudged Matt to let him know he must have left the tap running and go switch it off. Even as I said it, I thought 'Wait a minute, I have only just heard it now in last few minutes"... So I knew he hadn't left the tap on. But still made him get up to switch it off anyway. (Poor Matt)

He went to the bathroom and turned off the tap, it wasn't dripping it was on about half way!

Baffled, but we knew it was spirit playing tricks to let us know they were around. They have been around us quite a lot recently, but with Matt's mum very sick in hospital at the moment, it is no surprise his relatives in spirit are popping in to see us.

Just wished they wouldn't leave taps running....we are on a water meter here!!

Daily Merlin 'Amsterdam'

An apt time to connect to higher awareness once more. The deceit circling round the main characters in this enduring epic ... remains ... even though names have been cleared. The jigsaw pieces handed over now, after the event ... priceless or worthless? Only time will tell.

Winding awareness back to early in the trail. Back to the time of highlighted in the media coverage. Something said back then ... from an unexpected source recalled at the very name of Amsterdam. A source contacting out of the blue, unaware of the tentative involvement back then. Stating that place in Holland with the canals as a likely destination. This snippet now in the lap of appropriate sources. It is a collaboration perhaps to the current story ... if it can be accepted as proving fact within the pages and pages of speculation?

The purpose thus, of heightening awareness at this point of time, to explore the essence of the revelation. To travel remotely to that time ... and perhaps see what was and what could have been.

The lead may prove to be too late now to aid in the direction of the trail. But it would prove without a shadow of a doubt Maddie was alive after the apartment. That she did not perish within the apartment. There was so much intentional distraction from July onwards with the advent of the blood on the wall stories and beyond. Almost a bragging 'look what we can do to you' ... creation of the myth of the DNA and the smothering of the real trail. A denial of the truth and the harmful evolution of distractions to further bury the trail.

A sense of one sighting which could well be kosher. Above board. Truth at last within a cesspit of shameful deceptions. It could be. Will we ever know for sure? On the strength of the Daily Mail report it would seem a real possibility ... "I noticed the little girl spoke good English without an accent. Next I asked the little girl what her name was and she said, "My name is Maggie". At least that's what I thought she said. When I repeated it, the little girl said, "No, my name is Maddie".'I still remember that because I thought it was a rare name which you didn't often hear. 'I then asked her where she had last seen her mother and she answered, "They took me from my holiday".

'I thought it all a little odd and then I heard the woman call the girl. She didn't call her Maddie, but a longer name. She could have said Madeleine but I don't remember that."

If this is the case then it is a real crying shame this has come to light only now.

Turning to the Servants of the Light ... as a key to the door, as the inspiration ... Seeking the answer to 'was it indeed Madeleine McCann seen in Amsterdam?'

Initially the Four of Spheres ... and the 'upturned pandora's box' as I have come to associate this card. The image of the sun and a horn of plenty can be seen on the box. Secrets unearthed once hidden ... just one of the many perhaps to come to light. Jumping to the wrong conclusions here seem the risk but the Lovers image next has drawn my attention to a 'blond woman' who witnessed the wedding. Someone asked perhaps to give her blessing. It is a strange revelation. But the sense here of a religious or business link to Holland associating here ... someone or something working in isolation like a rocky island surrounded by sea (apologies for the symbolism) ... someone very much on a limb or on their own here.

The Maker of Crescents shows 'the charioteer' flaunting possession of the crescent ... letting it be known somewhere and to someone they indeed have or had the prize. Whether this relates to Amsterdam ... but someone in control of the direction of the situation is getting the message across (back then?) that they did indeed have custodianship of the crescent moon fragment. The maker of deceptions and illusions with the chariot being the media campaign which is projected before the public eye. The face of it all created for all to react to in the way they have been meant to. Through every twist and turn ... across every rise and fall of the torrid waves. There is a real sense of manufactured situations through which someone can learn people's reactions to the likes of what has been explored in recent times. Maddie has not been with a pedophile ring ... or with child slavery ... that is the strong sense that comes with this insight. Amsterdam may well have been a port of call somewhere along the trail ... kept on file deliberately ... because the sense of Maddy being with other children and a family does not shape with the impressions being generated at the time. The three of staves once again ... the sacred triangle .. a card of recovery ... recovery of the real trail it seems ... cold as it may well be ... or a loop in the string lassoing our attention to another corridor in the maze?

Whatever ... the impression that rides with this insight ... it could well have been Maddie. I ask thus the two old dears to provide their awareness if they are there to be heard ... seeing immediately the boards of a theatre or stage ... an audience is still and expectant awaiting the lone speaker before them who is ready to speak. There is a hush and a still. One word either way ... 'yes' ... the strangest of impressions.

'She is neither here or there. She is not with us for sure ... but she is not there where she was hence it is safe to broadcast that sighting. It will not affect they who now hold her. It is the first pearl from the necklace which was discarded. There are others there ... handwritten notes. .... a document out of place with others. Deep within it all. Missed on the first number of viewings. But blue is the emphasis. To come to light the red lion ...'

On the Trail of the Chupacabras

Their first known attacks were in March of 1995 in Puerto Rico. Eight sheep were discovered dead, each completely drained of blood. Investigators found three strange puncture wounds in the chests of the animals. Despite the odd circumstances, authorities could only attribute the killings to a known predator - a fox, perhaps. Others, however, recognized the similarities in these deaths to the enigmatic cattle mutilations which had been taking place in the American southwest with increasing regularity. Was there a connection?

Five months later, however, the attacks intensified and became more bizarre than any cattle mutilation. In August, 1995, as many as 150 farm animals and pets were killed by a mysterious predator in and around the Puerto Rican town of Canóvanas. In most cases, like the sheep, the animals were drained of blood through small holes. A definite pattern of unexplained killing had developed. Several of the animal victims were goats, which inspired the locals to christen the killer, el chupacabras - the "goat sucker." To this day, its rampage of gruesome slayings has continued and spread to many parts of the world, including the United States, Mexico, even as far away as Australia.

Yet after three years and hundreds of killings, chupacabras has eluded capture. Several sightings have been claimed, and its description fits no biological classification - and its killing methods puzzle forensic experts. If eyewitnesses can be believed, and until the experts can deliver a plausible explanation for the bizarre deaths, chupacabras remains a real modern mystery. (Read more ....)

Tarot Card of the Day

As a suit, Wands are direct, determined and connected to Will and its appropriate application. The Queen of Wands represents a woman who knows exactly what she wants out of life, and aims at her goals with great dedication.

She is often a woman who has experienced conflict and trauma, and learned from these. She's usually independent, forthright and self-motivated. As a friend she will be loyal and honest, though sometimes given to handing out unwelcome advice, and taking over.

As a parent she can be quite dominant, claiming that she wants her off spring to be self-reliant and confident, but sometimes tending to become impatient, and do things on their behalf in her own way, rather than allowing her children to make up their own minds.

She's a fighter, who does not suffer fools gladly. She will support and assist those who are vulnerable and needy, offering unceasing energy and determination. She takes up causes readily, and proves herself a worthy adversary. However she has a tendency not to know when to stop, and enjoys being at the forefront of the battle, rather than beavering away on the more routine aspects of any campaign.

This is a forceful and proud woman. She applies high standards to everything she becomes involved in. As a result, she can sometimes be somewhat intolerant of people who do things differently.

So - The Queen of Wands - a fine ally, and a dangerous enemy!

Creation Story & The Importance Of Dreaming

An Abenaki Legend

The Great Spirit, in a time not known to us looked about and saw nothing. No colors, no beauty. Time was silent in darkness. There was no sound. Nothing could be seen or felt. The Great Spirit decided to fill this space with light and life.

From his great power he commanded the sparks of creation. He ordered Tôlba, the Great Turtle to come from the waters and become the land. The Great Spirit molded the mountains and the valleys on turtle's back. He put white clouds into the blue skies. He was very happy. He said, "Everything is ready now. I will fill this place with the happy movement of life."He thought and thought about what kind of creatures he would make.

Where would they live? What would they do? What would their purpose be? He wanted a perfect plan. He thought so hard that he became very tired and fell asleep.

His sleep was filled with dreams of his creation. He saw strange things in his dream. He saw animals crawling on four legs, some on two. Some creatures flew with wings, some swam with fins. There were plants of all colors, covering the ground everywhere. Insects buzzed around, dogs barked, birds sang, and human beings called to each other. Everything seemed out of place. The Great Spirit thought he was having a bad dream. He thought, nothing could be this imperfect.

When the Great Spirit awakened, he saw a beaver nibbling on a branch. He realized the world of his dream became his creation. Everything he dreamed about came true. When he saw the beaver make his home, and a dam to provide a pond for his family to swim in, he then knew every thing has it's place, and purpose in the time to come.

It has been told among our people from generation to generation. We must not question our dreams. They are our creation.

The Element of Water

Suit: Cups.

Intuition, psychism, feelings and the whole range of human emotions come under the dominion of Water. From Water comes our dreams and visions, and the inner life of every human being.

Eighty per cent of the Earth’s surface is covered by water and eighty per cent of our body is water - and it is certainly true that our emotions and instincts take up an equally great proportion of our time! We worry about love and lovers more than we worry about anything else in our lives, so we really have to learn to maintain the balance of the Water element within us.

If you have ever sat and watched the ocean, the ‘Great Mother’, you will have noticed the relentless surge and ebb of the waves. Our reactions to our emotions are like this - they sweep across us and wash away reason as well as debris. This is Water - turbulent, still, reflective, ruffled, powerful, yet also subtle and understated. We can lose all perspective when we are ruled by our emotions, but when we rule them we become infinitely more powerful.

Experiencing the Water element is about matters of love, romance, joy, happiness and creativity. As well as emotion, intuition and psychism we also see Art, literature, design, poetry, music and most crafts.

Cups have a strong link with Venus and the Moon. Venus governs loving emotions and the Moon has much to do with matters of receptivity. Many of the mysteries of the Moon are reflected in the suit of Cups.

Water is a passive element, dealing with the inner us - our love, dreams and our ability to ‘read’ atmosphere an situation.

So this is Water, the suit which helps us with our inner emotional, creative and psychic spheres.

Amsterdam June 2007: Madeleine Lookalike: 'They Took Me'

Private detectives for Kate and Gerry McCann are pursuing a report that a little girl calling herself "Maddy" was seen in Holland just after their daughter Madeleine vanished.

The possible sighting of the missing girl was reported to Portuguese officers in June last year. But it has only now been made public with the release of previously secret police files.

The McCanns accused detectives of withholding potentially crucial evidence from them after the newly-released official documents revealed a series of leads they knew nothing about.

The Dutch sighting was perhaps the most promising of the lines of inquiry that have emerged.

Shop assistant Anna Stam, 41, said she spoke to a little girl aged three or four in Amsterdam who said her name was "Maddy" and replied to a question about her mother: "They took me from my holiday."

The girl entered Ms Stam's party shop in early May last year with a man and a woman and two other children, according to a witness statement to Dutch police.

The man - who "did not look like a nice person" - appeared to be speaking Portuguese but the woman spoke in English and told Ms Stam they had a small circus in France. Ms Stam was at the back of the shop when the young girl approached her and asked in unaccented English: "Do you know where my mummy is?"

On being told that her mother was a little further back in the store, the child replied, "She is not my mummy," and added: "She is a stranger, she took me from my mummy."

The Dutchwoman said she thought the girl looked "very much like" Madeleine apart from the colour of her hair.

The report was sent to the Portuguese authorities on June 18 last year but it is not clear what action was taken. (Sky News Wednesday 6th August 2008)

Back to Dusty Trails?

Tonight's focus centres on the increased activity spied symbolically on the trail by the hovering observer. Outside of the shackled belief structure; beyond the constraints of the anticipated mind set ... are clear blue skies. The sight is much plainer here than upon the trail ... within the trees. Not seeing the trees for the trunks. Freed from the suffocating restraint of proximity. Not held in the rapture of marketed reaction ... the merlin can see more what others cannot see. Can perceive more what others should be seeing.

Nothing has changed in anyway since day one. Here there is now the opportunity to be transported back to day one ... and to many other destinations. All at the discretion of media central. The cunning fox can dance, dance and gleefully dance a little more now. Freed from the contrived restraints. New life can be instilled into the story ....

As it appears it will be. The 8 of Crescents displays the image of a man in a black gown wandering over a wooden bridge in the dead of night. He bears a shepherd's crook .. behind him are four discarded crescents. Ahead of him beneath the bridge are two more. On the trail behind him are the remaining crescents ... it suggests there is a trail blazer at work here. Manufacturing another trail ahead in the coming weeks. Dare we trust what is to come any more than what was apparently revealed in the past? This is the enigma.

Crescents hint at things lunar. Moonbeams I associate with deception and illusions. What are the chances of ever knowing what is truth or what is falsehood? The trail has been well hidden by subterfuge for sure. What was a supposed straightforward 'crime' has been gilded by the most expensive of lilies. It has become something monumental ... created into a key world wide situation. Deliberately. Not by chance.

But the conclusion still seems upon the eternal figure of eight associated with infinity. It seems no nearer its conclusion than when it first inexplicably appeared on the world's TV screens and in the world's newspapers. There seems more dust clouds to be blown up in our faces by the walkers along this created trail. Dusty places again perhaps. The focus on the first few weeks could have a bearing on the path which will unwind before our eyes perhaps.

Remember this?

The Pink Floyd classic 'Another Brick in the Wall' from the 1979 album 'The Wall' .... all I remember is queuing up at Cobweb Records in Cleveleys, Lancashire on the first day of the release of this album ....

The Symbolism (perhaps) of '30 P'

Some interesting insights into the symbolism of '30' and 'P':

The Number 30

Represent the perfect balance in the cosmic organisation.

To the Cabalistic, this number is associated with the letter "lamed", and with gematria to the Path of Lamed which 'is one of the most important paths on the Cabbalistic Tree. Like some earlier paths, it leads the journeyer back to the heart of the Tree and to the revelations of Tiphereth, but its occult significance and its closeness to the Divine Mystery of enlightenment is such that much of its Cabbalistic meaning remains hidden. Only initiates who have been suitably prepared and have experienced the Mystery may know the secrets.'

It relates to the Strength card (the women in white healing the red lion) and, just as the figure on the card is female, the Path of Lamed is specifically associated in the Mysteries with Woman (with Demeter and Persephone, with the Shekinah, and with the Scarlet Woman) and with the relationship between human and Divine energies.

At this stage of the journey, the Male energies of the previous Path are given form in the Divine passions embodied in the Female which, through the strength and judgement derived from Sephira 5 (Geburah - 'make me, break me and remake me'), may be brought into equilibrium at Sephira 6.

Through control will come enlightenment and a rebirth which will release the Initiate's full potential. But Lamed, the Ox-goad, indicates that the necessary strength for rebirth on this path will only be learned through the prick of pain.

According to the revelations received by Mary Agreda, the Virgin Mary arrived at the perfect age of 30 years old, and ceased aging.

In the appearances of the Virgin Mary in Lourdes, in 1858, Mary appoints herself in thirty letters, "Che soy era immaculada counceptiou" that, under all reserve, could be translated: "It is in Me that you can conceive the splendor and the perfection of the creation before the sin".

Letter P

P is the numerical equivalent of 16/7 and represents power. It carries with it a commanding influence and possesses much knowledge. When it is the first consonant in a name the bearer is likely to think of spiritual matters. Negatively, P can be totally self absorbed with little time to empathize with the concerns of others.

.... and from the sublime to the (frankly) ridiculous

In the same field as crop circle in the previous post was this masterpiece ...

The Diamond & The Sun

The Latest crop circle discovered at Yatesbury, Nr Beckhampton. Wiltshire. Reported 3rd August 2008.

It has the symbolism of a diamond in the field
obscuring the sun (a shining star)... with the sun's rays behind it. The 'sacred triangle' (or pyramid) at the top right of the circle is quite clear to see ...

From the symbolism presented here ... familiar symbols in recent weeks ... the indications here of human hands being the creator of this circle ... the star is being hidden by the diamond perhaps?

The Element of Earth

Suit: Crescents, Disks, Coins, Pentacles, Deniers.

Finance, money, business, home life, domesticity, family and basic material security come under the dominion of Earth. Inheritance, growth and riches are covered along with our overall material security. In Earth we build our foundation of security, both in terms of finances and our family and friends. With a secure base we can reach up with confidence and attain our highest goals. Without it we are insecure and lack confidence. The other elements are said to rest upon Earth for this reason.

Earth is also obviously connected with Mother Earth, Nature and the planet itself. Anything which has solid form is covered by Earth, even if it has extra connections with other elements. In Earth we find fertility, conception, the Seasons and Cycle of Life.

Experiencing mundane life is not about boring and dull things! Mundane life means everything "of earthly life" - success at work, payrises, buying and selling, the overall family environment - these are all about mundane life and this suit. Controlling the Element of Earth gives us a head-start on all our projects and activities.

People described as "Earth-types" tend to be practical and steady, regarding material security as the point from which to build their lives. The men are steady, loyal, reliable and diligent. The women are quiet, gentle, domesticated and concerned mainly with family and home. We can all find ourselves going through "earthing" periods in our lives where we reflect these Earth types closely.

Earth is a passive element. This is because material matters are the end product of the Will (Fire) and the Intellect (Air). When something manifests into life, it does so as a natural consequence of our earlier efforts, and so this is passive in nature. For example, say you want a pay rise an you plan the best way to achieve this and devote yourself to achieving it. The planning is an intellectual activity (Air), the devotion to achieving it is fueled by your willpower (Fire) and the end result of the payrise is part of Earth. Additionally, the pleasure in getting what you planned so well for and worked so hard for belongs to our emotions (Water).

So there you have Earth, the suit which helps us with all aspects of our material world.

Calling All You Remote Viewers!!

The 'assignment' is simple ... you have been asked to concentrate on the image below and focus on its content to answer the following questions:

1. What was the 'special event' at the time of this photograph?
2. Who and how many were around at the time?
3. What was the colour of the vehicle 'involved'?

This remote viewing assignment is on a par with the typical instructions and requests that I have been familiar with in the past. So, for those genuinely interested in trying remote viewing for yourself ... we would be interested to receive your insights that are generated by your remote viewing of this photograph.

The tip is to become fully relaxed and establish a totally clear mind, devoid of any thoughts, emotions and any other distractions. The secret is then to really imagine yourself within the image. Seeing beyond the parameters of the photograph. The knack is then to switch off the logical mind and really connect with your intuitive side .... then in almost a daydream state, write down the very first things that come to you ....

Good luck.

Tarot Card of the Day

The Magician is normally numbered one and is sometimes called the Magus. The Magician is usually depicted as a powerful adept, a master of the four elements. He is able to shift events in his favour - to make the World change around him according to his Will.

He is highly skilled, highly powerful and hence a highly dynamic and charismatic figure. He is that part of us which we harness to control our own lives. When we are the Magician we make what we want happen.

However, you can be sure that we receive exactly what we ask for - "be careful what you pray for, you might just get it"! The Magician knows where to throw the pebble into the pool of the Universe in order to get exactly the ripples he wants. If we choose happiness and joy and put our Will behind them, that is what we can achieve.

Angler snares huge shark

An angler has caught what is believed to be the biggest tiger shark ever captured in Western Australian waters. The three-point-six metre shark weighed nearly 285 kilograms. It was caught on a 10-kilogram line during the Dampier Classic fishing competition at the weekend.

Organiser Dennis Brian-Smith says the shark will not go to waste.

"There will be lots of scientific data taken from this. There will be the liver and so forth will be sent away and examined and and also the stomach contents and methods that they determine the age and so forth of the fish which is fantastic as well."

The New Blog

Matt and I are currently on with the new blog.

It is taking its time (time is limited at moment) but we hope to have it launched as soon as possible.

We are currently asking for suggestions as to what topics readers like to know more about, any e-mails would be appreciated with suggestions of what you like to read/learn about.

The theme will be very similar to 'A Light in The Darkness' but promises to maybe delve a little deeper.

Thanks for your patience.
