The end of the world not happening - for now says expert: Mayan tablet with a reference to a 2012 date denotes a transition to a new era

The end is not near. At least that's according to a German expert who says his decoding of a Mayan tablet with a reference to a 2012 date denotes a transition to a new era and not a possible end of the world as others have read it. The interpretation of the hieroglyphs by Sven Gronemeyer of La Trobe University in Australia was presented for the first time Wednesday at the archaeological site of Palenque in southern Mexico. His comments came less than a week after Mexico's archaeology institute acknowledged there was a second reference to the 2012 date in Mayan inscriptions, touching of another round of talk about whether it predicts the end of the world. Gronemeyer has been studying the stone tablet found years ago at the archeological site of Tortuguero in Mexico's Gulf coast state of Tabasco. He said the inscription describes the return of mysterious Mayan god Bolon Yokte at the end of a 13th period of 400 years, known as Baktuns, on the equivalent of Dec. 21, 2012. Mayans considered 13 a sacred number. There's nothing apocalyptic in the date, he said. The text was carved about 1,300 years ago. The stone has cracked, which has made the end of the passage almost illegible. Gronemeyer said the inscription refers to the end of a cycle of 5,125 years since the beginning of the Mayan Long Count calendar in 3113 B.C...read more>>>... 

Mysterious Planet-Size Object Spotted Near Mercury

On Dec. 1, a camera onboard NASA's STEREO spacecraft recorded a wave of electrically charged material shooting out from the sun and blasting Mercury. Footage of this "coronal mass ejection" (CME), as such events are called, has caught the attention of alien-hunters, who say it has unveiled a giant, "cloaked" spaceship parked near the solar system's innermost planet. 

In the footage, one sees a huge spurt of plasma and other solar ejecta washing over Mercury; peculiarly, the material seems to flare up as it hits another nearby object, too. "It's cylindrical on either side and has a shape in the middle. It definitely looks like a ship to me, and very obviously, it's cloaked," YouTube-user siniXster said in his video commentary on the footage, which has quickly spread across the Web.

A Magical Mind

From blowing dandelion seeds into the air to throwing a penny into a fountain, we have all felt inspired to make a wish, to whisper our secret desires into the ears of the universe and wait for signs that we have been heard. Some wishes come true while others remain ethereal visions that either stay with us or fade like a star in the light of morning. Whether they come true or not, wishes are important missives, expressing our heart's desire as well as our intention to create something new in our lives. When we wish for something, our consciousness opens to receiving it, like a flower unfolding its petals to receive a bee. There is something innocent and magical about making a wish, something that recalls the energy of childhood. Wishing is not about formulating a plan and following it step by step to attain a goal, which is the realm of adulthood. Wishing is more like a playful volley across the universe, an invitation to play. Waiting for the response is an integral part of the process. Wishing inspires an innocent opening to the possibility of magic as we wait to see if the invisible realm will bring our wish to life. This opening is a beautiful gesture in and of itself, regardless of the outcome. We place ourselves in a magical mind, and this mind is arguably as wonderful as the fulfillment of our wish itself. In our straightforward, action-oriented society, we may tend to dismiss the power of this seemingly passive process, yet the power of a wish is well known, hence the cautionary phrase, "Be careful what you wish for." If you have given up wishing in favor of more adult pursuits, you might want to bring its magic back into your life. The next time you see the first star of the evening, or find yourself in front of a birthday cake covered in flaming candles, give yourself the gift of the magical realm that you knew so well as a child—close your eyes, open your mind, and make your wish.

All UK Patients to be Barcoded by 2013

The barcodes, which will be read by handheld scanners, are to be issued to patients from October neaxt year under the orders of the Information Standards Board (ISB) for Health and Social Care. By next April trusts have must plans on how they will implement the change-over. The ISB is imposing the rule to cut down on the number of avoidable errors like patients being given the wrong medication. The Wisdom of Surrender

Most of us pride ourselves on our self-sufficiency. We like to be responsible for taking care of ourselves and pulling our own weight in the world. This is why it can be so challenging when we find ourselves in a situation in which we have to rely on someone else. This can happen as the result of an illness or an injury, or even in the case of a positive change, such as the arrival of a newborn. At times like these, it is essential that we let go of our feeling that we should be able to do it all by ourselves and accept the help of others. The first step is accepting the situation fully as it is. Too often we make things worse either by trying to do more than we should or by lapsing into feelings of uselessness. In both cases we run the risk of actually prolonging our dependency. In addition, we miss a valuable opportunity to practice acceptance and humility. The ego resists what is, so when we move into acceptance we move into the deeper realm of the soul. In needing others and allowing them to help us, we experience the full realization that we are not on our own in the world. While this may bring up feelings of vulnerability, a deep feeling of gratitude may also emerge as we open to the experience of being helped. This realization can enable us to be wiser in our service of others when we are called upon to help. It takes wisdom and strength to surrender to our own helplessness and to accept that we, just like every other human being, have limitations. The gifts of surrender are numerous. We discover humility, gratitude, and a deepening understanding of the human experience that enables us to be that much more compassionate and surrendered in the world.

Monthly Review For November 2011

November 2011 has very much been in the vein of previous months ... it began on a real high after the crest of the wave created by the successful four day venue in Perth, WA at the end of October 2011. Early November was filled with party bookings & follow up readings from referals & follow ups from expos & venues earlier in the year ... and also with a number of returning clients from home readings here in Canberra. It is always very gratifying to have clients returning time after time ... and for new clients to make appointments based on recommendations from existing clients; especially in the head winds being experienced in early mid November created by the 'fallout' from issues that had reigned earlier in the year. In truth, I was barely effected by all the huffing and puffing pointed in my direction. It was sad to witness such minds at work ... but that is the reality of this field! Its a fact of life! Personal readings have been a consistent theme throughout November, much like in previous months. The other pleasing aspect of November 2011 was the continued sustained growth of our fortnightly development group which we started in April 2011. Many of our original members still attend ... and a number of special nights in November 2011 enabled several of our members to practise their skills in front of an audience.

The end of November 2011 saw another successful live show by The Four Mediums. This time in Newcastle NSW. The four mediums - Suzie Cherub, Luke Patrick, Suzy Price and Matthew James - put on an incredible display of mediumship ... each with their own unique style. The evening was captured on video footage. The evening commenced with the lovely Suzie Cherub who provided some compelling evidenceby way of her wonderful unique mediumship. Next there was the powerful and incredibly accurate Luke Patrick who shares a mutual 'guide' with Matthew James. After a brief interval the sensational Suzy Price provided evidence of survival in her own inimitible way. Connecting with the audience in a  more personal way than the other three. Finally, it was the turn of Matthew James to stun the audience with his brand of mediumship and accurate information from the other side. The evening ended after all four mediums took to the stage to take some questions from the audience. Then it was over ... until the next show in early 2012!!!

So all in all, November 2011 has been a very pleasing month. Very busy ... with a number of interesting plans laid down ... venues, expos, shows, workshops all in the pipeline for 2012 ... watch out for more details --- MJ   

Spiritual Morphism

Each and every time a client arrives for a personal reading ... or a live audience looks on awaiting the very first message of the evening ... the challenge is always the same. It's the element of risk ... the sense of ultimate trust ... a self belief that is not like any other. There is no script to fall back on in either scenario. Its all about reconnecting with the consistency that is always there each and every time, without taking it for granted ... or appearing ungrateful for the magical essence that surrounds each and every one of the connections. Its about feeling honoured by working in this way without adopting the false ego that destroys these subtle connections! But ... its only when the first signs of that the connection has been made, again ... that the human-ness can be put on the back seat and a second nature 'sensation' can take over. Its only when the first snippets of information begins to flow that this human identity ceases to exist for a while ... and the universal consciousness begins to flow like magic through the physical form. Its only then that the true characteristics of the discarnate soul is expressed before the client or the audience. The medium is nothing more than a conduit between worlds ... the human ego resting as the spirit within the human form begins to morph itself into the personality making the connection. The spirit in effect becomes the discarnate soul complete with physical conditions, thoughts, mannerisms ... and the like. Able then to connect in a two-way dialogue with the client or member of the audience. UFOs in Missouri, US: Police officer spots 'round object' at tree tops

A Missouri police officer at Lee's Summit reports watching a "round object with very bright, white lights" that hovered just above the tree tops, according to December 2, 2011, testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database. The officer was on-duty at the time and was at the intersection of 291 Highway and 150 Highway when the object was noticed to the west. "It would take a baseball held at arm's length to cover the object," the officer stated. "The white lights had a blue hue to them and all of the lights were on the bottom of the craft. The lights were strobing, and there was no sound whatsoever. It was a clear night with no cloud cover, and the object was very low, just above treetop level." Within each of there is a well of energy that must be regularly replenished. David Icke is Right about the Reptiles

David Icke has just been made victim of a hatchet job, that appeared in the Daily Mail in London. They were questioning his success and alluding to his supposedly vast cash flow. If you take Internet traffic (see below) as a measure of popuparilty, David Icke is number one in the world, way bigger than Tony Robbins, Deepak Chopra, Wayne Dyer and Stuie Wilde, who is really quite titchy compared to Icke. I spent three days talking to David and his ex wife, that was five years ago. He’s the least commercial person of all the main teachers, he has no interest in money, he’s much like most of us, we just want to get our message out. The Daily Mail article was very slanted and biased. They ridiculed the heck out of David, and they didn’t bother to interview him or get a quote about his views. They made no mention of his main themes; the power of the Illuminati and the Zionists, and the global elite, to impoverish people and destroyed their lives.They poured scorn on his theory of humans, that morph into reptiles. Japan Meltdown Maybe Worse Than Thought

Molten nuclear fuel at Japan's Fukushima plant might have eaten two thirds of the way through a concrete containment base, its operator said, citing a new simulation of the extent of the March disaster. Tokyo Electric Power (TEPCO) said their latest calculations showed the fuel inside the No. 1 reactor at the tsunami-hit plant could have melted entirely, dropping through its inner casing and eroding a concrete base. In the worst-case scenario, the molten fuel could have reached as far as 65 centimetres (2 feet) through the concrete, leaving it only 37 centimetres short of the outer steel casing, the report, released Wednesday, said. Until now, TEPCO had said some fuel melted through the inner pressure vessel and dropped to the containment vessel, without saying how much and what it did to the concrete, citing a lack of data. 2012: Magnetic Pole Reversal Happens All The (Geologic) Time

Scientists understand that Earth's magnetic field has flipped its polarity many times over the millennia. In other words, if you were alive about 800,000 years ago, and facing what we call north with a magnetic compass in your hand, the needle would point to 'south.' Revealing Your True Self

Identity is an elusive concept. We feel we must define ourselves using a relatively small selection of roles and conscious character traits, even if none accurately represents our notion of "self." The confusion surrounding our true natures is further compounded by the fact that society regularly asks us to suppress so much of our emotional, intellectual, and spiritual vibrancy. Yet we are, in truth, beings of light—pure energy inhabiting physical bodies, striving for enlightenment while living earthly lives. Our true selves exist whether we acknowledge them or not, often buried under fears and learned behavior. When we recognize our power, our luminosity, and our divinity, we cannot help but live authentic lives of appreciation, potential, fulfillment, and grace. At birth and throughout your childhood, your thoughts and feelings were more than likely expressions of your true self. Though you may have learned quickly that to speak and act in a certain fashion would win others' approval, you understood innately that you were no ordinary being. There are many ways you can recapture the authenticity you once articulated so freely. Meditation can liberate you from the bonds of those earthly customs that compel you to downplay your uniqueness. Also, communing with nature can remind you of the special role you were meant to play in this lifetime. In order to realize your purpose, you must embrace your true self by letting your light shine forth, no matter the consequences. When Conspiracy Theories Turn out to be True

All too often, people dismiss conspiracy theorists as crazy, a little paranoid, or a few cards short of a deck. And to be fair, many conspiracy theories can be a little whacky. From the world governed by lizard men, to Paul McCartney having died twenty years ago and replaced by a doppelganger, it’s no wonder, conspiracy theorists get a bad name. All too often, the term conspiracy theorist conjures up images of Internet nerds, sitting on a leather sofa eating potato chips with little else to do but come up with crazy ideas, or people who are just plain paranoid. But not all conspiracy theorists are a hamburger short of a Happy Meal, and not all conspiracies are that farfetched. In fact, there have been plenty of examples of conspiracy theories that the mainstream population has dismissed as paranoid fantasies, which have actually turned out to be true.


Since Machiavelli wrote his adage to Realpolitik, The Prince, conspiracies have played an integral part of politics. Telling people what it is believed they want to know, rather than the truth, has been a guiding principle of all sorts of political regimes, from the authoritarian states of Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia, to the so-called free democracies of the United States and Western Europe. And it is in these more democratic nations where conspiracy theories have flourished, and many of which have often been found to have at least some semblance of truth behind them:

Manhattan Project

In essence, a conspiracy is just a secret, but it is the scale of these secrets and the number of people involved in keeping them that truly elevates a secret to the level of conspiracy theory. And on this premise, there has never been a bigger conspiracy that that of the Manhattan Project. The Manhattan Project, the codename for the atomic bomb development and testing program, was perhaps the largest conspiracy ever concocted by the United States. Between 1942 and 1946, more than 130,000 people were involved in the project, from scientists such as Robert Oppenheimer, to regular army personnel, radio operators and even taxi drivers, all sworn to government secrecy. The conspiracy lasted for an amazing 25 years without the media and mainstream public knowing a thing about it. Of course, the reason for secrecy was clear. With Nazi Germany building its own atomic weaponry during WWII, then Soviet Russia during the Cold War, the powers that be didn’t want their own plans getting out. However, with so many people able to keep the secret for so long, the Manhattan Project serves as reminder that even the largest scale of conspiracy theory could have some basis in truth.

A story straight from the pages of a political thriller, the Watergate scandal rocked American politics and serves as a sobering reminder that even the leader of the free world is susceptible to keeping the odd secret from the people. The Watergate scandal emanated from a break in at the Watergate Hotel in Washington DC during 1972, when the Democratic National Committee was using the hotel as their headquarters. After the arrest of five men in connection to the break-in, the FBI discovered the burglars were in receipt of payments that came from a Republican fundraising group for the re-election for President Nixon. Further investigations discovered that Nixon had recorded several telephone conversations, which not only provided evidence that he knew about the break-in, but also had tried to cover it up. The scandal ultimately led to his resignation.

The Iran-Contra Affair

Another shady political conspiracy also involving the Republicans, this time under President Reagan’s administration. What started out as an altruistic deal to release US hostages held by Iranian terrorists during the 1980’s, led to the United States executive eventually selling arms to Iran in exchange for the hostages’ release. This was bad enough, but the profits from the sale were then siphoned off to support Nicaraguan rebels, known as the Contras, in an attempt to overthrow the Nicaraguan government, a violation of International law. Congress finally uncovered the conspiracy in 1987, although no evidence ever emerged that President Reagan knew anything about the diversion of funds to the Nicaraguan rebels, plenty of people in his administration certainly did know.

Good Vibrations

Everything in the universe is in a constant state of vibration, including our bodies. Sound is vibration that can be translated by the delicate structures of our inner ear, but it moves more than just those tiny receptors. It is part of the spectrum of energy vibrations that affect us on the mental, physical, and spiritual levels. Long ago shamans recognized the power of sound when they first used chants and drumming to heal people. In ancient Egypt, Greece, and India, the use of sound and music for healing was a highly developed sacred science. Sonic vibration has been one way of experiencing the energy of the universe for much of humanity’s history. When the vibrations of our physical and spiritual bodies are out of harmony it can cause disease. Sound healing gently massages the molecules back into the right places, clearing blockages and restoring harmony. Ancient healing systems such as Chinese medicine and Indian Ayurveda associate specific musical notes with subtle-energy systems of the body, such as in yoga where particular notes of music correspond to each of the seven chakras. In Tibet, priests have long used bells and bowls over and around the body to tune and clear the energy centers. Chimes and tuning forks are other tools that have been used to heal not only the body but the energy in a room as well. Knowing that sound has the power to heal, we should also try to remember that sounds from modern life can have a negative affect. Choosing silence over discord may help us maintain a state of equilibrium. As we seek soothing and harmonizing sounds to surround us, we may be doing more than creating a balm for the noise of the world. We may actually be performing an act of self-healing that connects us with one of the most basic vibrations of the universe.
