Prince Charles is determined that the Duchess of Cornwall will become queen and not just a princess consort when he accedes to the throne, a documentary will claim. The quiet determination will alarm critics who still feel that because of the once-adulterous nature of the relationship, the duchess should never become queen.He's joking right? Daily Mail says: "Since their marriage was announced in February 2005, Clarence House has said that Camilla will be known as the Princess Consort when the time comes for her husband to take over from his mother. But constitutional experts have long pointed out that, under present legislation, she automatically receives the title queen when her husband becomes king. It would almost certainly require an Act of Parliament for her not to be queen.
According to the documentary – entitled Queen Camilla – the prince hopes that he can secure enough public support to ensure that such a move is not necessary."
It is not the first time it has been suggested that Prince Charles has a silent campaign in mind.
Wonder what Al Fayyad thinks about that? It's suspicious that since Diana's death the way has become open for 'Camilla' to walk into the potential role of 'Queen' by marrying her long term 'lover' ... Now I'm not saying she is the guilty party in the murder of Diana, but it does make you wonder ... she put pressure on Charles & Diana all the way through their marriage ... criticising from the shadows with her claws in 'ole big ears' ... controlling them both. Then all the furore died down ... and she marries Charles ... she has no doubt worked her manipulation on 'ole big ears' for him to quietly campaign for her to become queen ....
