So how did we reach such a crisis so soon? The burning of fossil fuels and the clearing of carbon dioxide-absorbing forests have all increased the amount of carbon dioxide in the earth's atmosphere. The cars we drive, the flights we take and the electricity we use all mean we are contributing to the carbon emission problem ourselves every day. Per capita, Australians are among the heaviest polluters in the world. Some research suggests that we are, in fact, the worst culprits, mainly because Australia generates so much cheap - but dirty - electricity from its large reserves of brown coal.

I agree the planet is heating up. That I don't deny ... but, hey when Mt St Helens erupted ... it created more pollution in the atmosphere than mankind since the advent of the Industrial Age!!! So for it to be as a result of all these 'scientific facts' ... I say bullshit ... I say it again, bullshit. There is a very, very warm and bright circular thing in the sky known as 'the sun' ... and it is a scientific fact too that this circular bright thing is sending out more and more radiation into the solar system, and has been doing for a number of centuries. It is also known, by studying historic evidence of the earth, that this is not the first time this has taken place. In fact it is a cyclic event ... it has happened before ... many times ... and the direct result of this activity is THAT THE EARTH WARMS UP ... the sun has caused GLOBAL WARMING in the earth's past and it is doing so now ... it did this when mankind wasn't even on the earth ... so it can't have been because of our polluting the planet back then ... and it ain't us now either!!!!
NO doubt more and more compelling bullshit will be thrust into the public arena by the likes of Al Gore and other brainless puppets ... and large portions of the world's gullible masses will digest the bullshit ... because they will have been mind programmed to do so ... 'why would scientists lie?' ... 'scientific fact means its true' ...
Myself and the growing numbers, who know otherwise, will continue to oppose the bullshit because we refuse to digest the bullshit!
