Search for Madeleine McCann in Malta: The Mystery Caller

Police in Malta are investigating three more possible sightings on the island of missing Madeleine McCann, one from a mystery caller that left an anonymous tip. According to the Sunday Express, the caller was probably using a phone box in the village of Bahar-ic-Caghaq. That caller claimed that he saw the abducted four-year-old in the village on Thursday. They also believe he could have been using the public phone box in Bahar-ic-Caghaq to conceal his identity and location.

So far, police investigations have yielded negative results," a police spokeswoman said. "Nevertheless, the police will continue investigating this case." Detectives in Malta have been looking into other possible sightings of Madeleine since May 27.

A spokesman for the Maltese police said that they were taking the claims very seriously because of the number of reports and would “leave no stone unturned”.
