New mum, 38, becomes first Briton to die of swine flu after giving birth prematurely

Daily Mail, says: "A new mother with swine flu has become the first person in Britain to die from the disease, health officials have confirmed. The women, from Glasgow, had battled the virus for more than a fortnight. Doctors delivered her new baby almost three months prematurely on 1 June as she was so ill. They said she had 'underlying health problems'.The death, the first fatality from swine flu outside the Americas, comes just days after world health experts said the outbreak had officially become a pandemic. She died at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley, Scotland, where she and two other seriously-ill sufferers were being treated."
