This path connects the fourth brain circuit to the seventh brain circuit. The seventh brain circuit is an area of pure idea. The Hebrew word Kaph means comprehension or grasp. Invoking this super conscious brain circuit into consciousness brings a Cosmic comprehension which "passeth all understanding" as we know it. This path is called the Rewarding Intelligence and it certainly is. When invoked purposely and remembered consciously, the Cosmos is recreated and populated with bright lights of knowledge. From this brain circuit comes the "music of the spheres" talked about by many creative geniuses such as Beethoven, Planc, Rodin, and Ghandi.Chesed is the name of the Sephirah on the Tree of Life which represents this brain circuit. Scientists have no method for invoking this brain circuit. The only methods available are those of Tantra and related Yogic methods. Tantra offers the only method capable of bringing permanent change to these higher brain circuit powers. Drugs can invoke temporary changes to these brain circuits and a few other methods such as pranayama breathing can bring temporary opening of these superconscious powers but only Tantric methods have been known to bring permanent change.
Chesed has been called the Intelligence of Desirous Quest and brings accelerated experience.
Jupiter is the astrological sign associated with this path. Words associated with the symbol Jupiter are Greatness, Magnificence, Majesty, good fortune. Jupiter represents an attractive power which brings illumination and healing. Jupiter represents an intelligence which balances and adjusts differences, establishing harmony and order.
The "synaptic leap" of genius which brings seemingly unrelated items into relationship and understanding comes from this brain circuit. From here come "hunches," "funny feelings," and other "gut feelings" which we use as reasons for making some decisions which we cannot otherwise explain. Curiously enough, Jupiter is associated with the solar plexus of our body so maybe "gut feeling" is well named.
