A pounding heart and aching feet as I descended into the clinging mists
An unearthly still crossed my path, a chill like no other
and I left this earth behind then
With the other world ones as my guide, I entered their realm
and I was fearless as the night sky turned from black to red
My home world gone as I watched the portal close before me ...
The taste of salt on my lips revived me
The sound of gulls overhead
and a cold sea breeze
I stood on shaky feet and looked down over the precipitous cliff
How I got here, I cannot recall, but I was back on earth ...
Behind me then the journey to where I now stand
the remains of the holy fire
the place I chose to chant the portal
and start the ritual to bring them to me.
A solar dragon shall come ... a dust cloud to hide the sun
a decade of shakes and waves and famine ... the magnitude equal to the last time
one you can recall when others cannot
Atlantis was once your home and you chose once more to return
to be a silent witness, again
Circle round a circle
scant memories to confound you child
make no sense no matter how much you try.
