Exposing A Bad Penny

Sometimes life throws up situations that are difficult to face or undertake. But, it is always inevitable these hurdles will be overcome. The hope is that by 'doing the right thing' best intentions are seen in your actions by observers. How often do we toy with a dilemma for days? Worried by how we will be seen by others or what others think of us? It happens so often, it is unbelievable. It isn't a comfortable track to walk down ... but, somethings have to be said. It's very much on the same road as a number of recent posts on here which relate to spotting 'frauds' and 'con artists' in the psychic industry. Sadly, when it relates to individuals who you are aware of ... it becomes that much harder to say anything. But, when the very reputation of the mystic 'industry' is threatened by their senseless and stupid actions ... something 'must be done'. There are literally thousands of decent & genuine mediums & psychics out there ... who are peddling their trade with integrity and honesty. The path they walk is not easy especially when they can be 'tarred with the same brush' as the charlatans. It is human nature that the work of the good & the honest is tarnished by the callous actions of the fakes & the frauds. Our industry has suffered so badly in the past due to the bad press ... the exposure of the charlatans who are out to fleece the needy & the vulnerable at every opportunity.

Hence when it comes to light that someone in the mystic industry is willfully conning the general public, there is really only one decision to make.

Cutting to the chase, a statement was made recently about the deliberate intention of a "psychic medium" to fool a live audience into believing they had made a connection to the spirit world. Before their live performance, the "psychic medium" had shared a conversation with a member of the audience ... and had learned of the sad demise of a parent a day or two before the show. Unbeknown to the "Psychic Medium", the conversation had been overheard by another member of the audience. This member of the audience could not believe their ears when the "psychic medium" had promptly gone to the young man in the audience and claimed to have made a connection with the young man's late Father ... the full intention having been to trick the audience into thinking a genuine connection had been made to the young man's late Father. The "psychic medium" had then proceeded to state that the Father was talking about the same business concerns the member of the audience had heard being discussed in the conversation prior to the show.

This type of action is NOT acceptable. It is fraudulent! It gives the genuine mediums, who DO make real connections to the spirit world, a bad name. It is disgusting ... and HAS to be brought to the attention of the general public that there are cheats like this out there sadly. The "psychic medium" has been witnessed at a number of shows quoting the same 'script' and providing the same information during THREE live shows... and has in truth now been stripped of the opportunity to appear beside three other "genuine" mediums ..! The "psychic medium" has now gone their own way ... and needs someone to point out to them the serious consequences their fraudulent actions are having on the psychic industry :(
