17th August 2016 - I finally made it back to Avebury, Wiltshire after seventeen years! My previous visit had been in the Summer of 1999. Last time was my pre-digital camera days so I had few decent photographs of the stones. This time round I made sure every sarcen stone was photographed. I now have an extensive library of Avebury images. Even now, I feel I hadn't taken enough of favourite spots at Avebury. I thoroughly enjoyed the summer sun and the afternoon I had around the ancient stones.
