This Nankeen Kestrel picture was taken on the Urambi Hills; the young raptor had literally arrived, when I'd arrived! At the same spot on the same tree. I'd read that Kestrels become familiar with humans as part of their safe surroundings. It became more than coincidence that Kestrels would appear around me, morning after morning, when I'd arrive on the hills for my early morning wander.
